Couldn't have had a better experience. Started off with Bobby, who explained exactly what was and what wasn't part of the service package. Charlie (the tech) takes the car in and has it on the lift in no time. Within a few minutes, Bobby asks me to go back and talk to the tech. From my experience with fast oil changes - those done in a jiffy - the call is to explain the additional $400 in repairs and maintenance they're suggesting for your car. Not at all! They showed me some damage to the bottom, explained what they were going to do, and went back to work. Later, Charlie showed me with a flashlight the things that had been done, including what they did to take care of that damage on the bottom. He talked to me about my tires and my brakes. And with all those little extras - my bill was exactly what it was when I walked in the door. My experience was the opposite of several of the reviewers. I went in on 10/17/2016 for an oil change. The staff was very friendly. They got my car in right away with no appointment scheduled. Unlike other garages such as Merchants, Midas did not try to up sell me on some BS super oil that apparently my Camry required and cost a fortune. Midas on the other hand was much cheaper and they also accepted a coupon I had with no questions or gimmicks attached. Overall, it was a great experience. I will not go anywhere else for any maintenance needs. Midas on Sudley Rd is fantastic and I recommend anyone to bring their vehicle there. Thanks. read more

Do not and I repeat DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! I have a 2004 XTERRA that we keep up on the maintenance and have never had any issues with before. We normally went to Jiffy Lube for oil changes but their prices increase every time we go. Well while I was at work the husband goes to get the oil changed and get a tire fixed that had a slow leak. After sitting 2 1/2 hours he brings it back to work for me and it was fine. On my way home the same day the "check oil light" comes on and the engine starts knocking. Thankfully made it home. Midas told us to bring it in the next morning. We decided to check the air pressure in the tire that they fixed as well and it was still leaking. They claim we had a valve tapping issue (magically it never happened before taking it there) in the engine and low and behold we some how got a nail in the exact same tire that they were supposed to fix. After sitting another 3 1/2 hours they claim to have put in some additive to stop the knocking and they fixed the tire after trying to charge us again. Well about week and half later meaning right now... My husband is on the side of 66 where the xterra just died. Once it is towed and another reliable mechanic looks at it Midas will hear from us. I'm not quite certain why this place received negative reviews; perhaps it was under different management then. I needed 4 new tires desperately. After getting jerked around by the idiots at Sears Auto Center, I found out there was a Midas close to me. So, I called William on Tuesday and he told me to bring it in Wednesday after work...knowing that I wouldn't be able to get there until nearly 6:00 (they close at 7:00). I arrived, Garrett put my tires on immediately (and they were reasonably priced!) and had me on my way within an hour. They didn't try to sell me unnecessary things, in fact, they told me my brakes and rotors looked good and probably wouldn't need them any time soon. They were very courteous and seemed to be customer focused. I will definitely be doing business here again for all my auto needs. Highly recommend this place! read more

I brought my car in for an oil change with a light bulb for the tail end to be replaced and needed and inspection. I was told I needed a exhaust gasket before I could have a passed inspection. I knew that sounded right. Yet, I was told I needed windshield wipers that was just replaced 5 weeks earlier by Safelight auto. Then, when it was ready the engine light was on, and I was told it was just happened my O2 sensor went out which is of course near the exhaust (but they were no where near any of the 2 they stated) I have a V-6 so there is 4; and when I left my taillight did not work. Yet, I had an inspection sticker. I wrote a letter to corporate and ended with an irritated franchise owner on the phone who not once but twice treated me as if I was a dumb women and he stated I did not bring bulbs in to have fixed. He would have the same guys look at it and see what he could do for me. He said he is not saying he wont help me? Excuse me, I came in with a dead bulb and a good exhaust. I left with a bad 02 sensor on the exhaust and a dead bulb and you want me to bring it to you to see if you could help me after you called me a liar (Receipt shows replaced exterior bulb (R + R) customer supplied 9.99) I made a decision today not to go back and have them fix it. Instead I will take it to the dealer and bring this up to corporate again along with VA State Police about their inspections. read more

They were wonderful! I had to have my tail pipe replaced. I was able to buy the parts elsewhere (much cheaper) and they only charged me labor. They were incredibly easy to work with and it took much less time than originally planned. I definitely plan on using them again! read more

I had some exchaust work done in 2008 from this company. They installed an aftermarket exhaust for me. Work took forever,Used pieces,yeah,pieces. Instead of using a bender and using one pipe,used like 5 elbows,wtf?? Started rusting mont later. I called then ,got nothing but excuses and bs from manaquir. Why am I writing this now? I have had to patch one place,now another place,and another. last night my muffler fell off,wtf? Idiots. I lookied under myself this time. They used origional rubber grommets,cheap asses. I paid 234 bucks for this. I can not get 2 new hangers? WTF!!! I called them today,just to see their answer. To why their work did not last but 3 yrs. They told me" only suppose to have lasted 2 yrs." Qoute from the manager. Are you on crack? I am a ex mechanic from miltary. Welds done correct,last long time,long not 2 yrs. Idiots. I told them in 2008 they suck,and never ever use them ever. Now it is in Concerete,never. If you want a Wal-Mart hook up,here it is,jacklicks trying to do auto repair. Your place sucks. This shop is a joke. Completely dishonest. I took my vehicle in for an oil change. They stated that I needed new front wheel bearings on both sides. I advised them that the bearings were just replaced 2 months prior and there was no noise coming from the wheels. I asked if the lugs were all tightened as maybe that was the reason for the play of the wheels. They claimed all lugs were fine. I drove home to find all 5 lugs on both front tires loose. They had half-way unscrewed them to make it look like I needed wheel bearings. They also wanted to run diagnostics on a so-called major oil leak. There were no oil stains on my driveway before my visit to Midas and there are still no oil stains. Rear main seal, head, valve gaskets are fine. They smeared what was clearly brand new oil all over the bottom of my oil pan to make it look like a huge leak. I advise everyone to steer clear of this Midas as they are nothing but crooks. read more
