Wow. These people are truly immoral trash. I came to get two repairs done. As apposed to them giving me a total quote on both jobs, they snuck and started working on one of the jobs and then after an hour into the work, they gave me an obscene quote for the whole job. Because they had already started the work, I was forced to pay for part of the work. When I asked them why they did not quote me for the entire job before starting it, they callously, replied, " that's not how we do things here". After going back-and-forth a few rounds with the apparent manager and associate, I got nowhere as they were extremely illogical and SERIOUSLY unethical. I found out later that one of the jobs that they quoted me for was by FAR more than the standard price. This explains why these slimy thieves hurried up to start working without giving me a total quote. They were overtly trying to rip me off. It is dishonest scum like the people running this particular Midas that make me excited about the idea of AI taking over the auto mechanic industry. Soulless people like them are far to common in this industry and they need to be put out of work. read more

Service: Headlight replacement. I received a quote for regular & HID lights. Prices were comparable to the dealership. Owner was honest and told me that issues were more of erosion on the lens cover, which would require work due its location. The owner recommended I take my vehicle to the dealership. He could chosen to install the lamps and been dishonest. Instead, he chose integrity. For this I will return for other vehicle needs. read more

I took my car here for brakes, as they had repaired them a couple years earlier. They gave me the same _exact_ spiel they had given me years earlier: "The calipers are all frozen up". I don't know if it was the same guy, but he said the exact same thing again. They quoted $1300.00 for brakes all around, including calipers. No thanks! I took the car to another shop, who I paid $575.00 for brakes all around, and guess what, the calipers were fine. These guys are crooks. Go anywhere else you can. read more

I took my car to a CarX and was told I needed front and rear brake pads and rotors. I presumed I only needed the front, so I called around to get some quotes on front brake pads and rotors. Midas quoted me $275 total (which is still really expensive, but the best deal I could get; I didn't have time to do it myself). So we went out there. We had to pay $20 for a total inspection, and they said we needed front brake pads and rotors (I knew it!) and we needed to replace our tires in the near future, but not immediately. The owner was up front, and he was very friendly and took the time to explain to us what the problems were. Now, you might be thinking, why only 2 stars, when it sounds like good, honest, friendly service? Well, the mechanic came in and told me it would cost $375 to fix the front brakes. I told him what I was quoted on the phone, and he told me that due to my VIN number, it had to be a certain brake pad that was used that was more expensive. He showed me on the computer, and I saw what looked like much cheaper pads above, and he said, "We don't have those in." So I was persistent, and he told me, "Well, we can get them, but you'll have to wait another hour." Let's see, wait another hour or spend another $100? Tough call. I told him we'd wait the extra hour. We walked to IHOP, and in around 45 minutes or so, they called to tell me the car was done. The total price was $260. I wish they would have been up front, because they would've gotten 4 or 5 stars. read more

Not only were they able to get me in when I wanted an appointment, but they also didnt try to sell me on things i didnt ask them to look at. Even though there was an issue that I didnt know about, I am glad they explained what it was and they werent pushy about it. I had a great experience at this place yesterday. My tire had an issue so I stopped here to see if they could fix it. The manager indicated they were very busy, but he took the time to look at my tire. Turned out there was a screw causing a leak. Since everyone else was busy he removed screw and plugged my tire. Please do not take your car here. Even one of the workers told me that he's looking for a new job because he hates the way they try to get over on people. I bought a used car and was trying to cut some of the costs a very reputable car repair quoted me, so I decided to take it to Midas. My first dealings with them were pleasant, until they "fixed" my car. They couldn't even tell me the EXACT thing wrong with it and totally "guessed" what was wrong. They fixed that thing. When I came and picked it up, it was still doing the same thing. I told them that they didn't fix the problem, which made the car incapable of driving. One of the managers got an attitude with me (in defense of their crappy work) and said "rather than you feeling like you're being cheated, I'll just take all the parts out and give you your money back" ????? You would think this was a nice gesture, but no, not really. I dropped it off and they kept saying that they'd been driving the car for days and nothing was wrong with it. Meanwhile, the third time I took it back, I had to have it towed because the problem had worsened so much that the car wouldn't start. When I brought it back and expressed my concern, the owner wouldn't even look me in my face. I JUST went to the grocery store (after they said they found nothing wrong) and the car wouldn't even start. I had to get it towed once again. I feel extremely disrespected and cheated out of my money by this business. Please avoid the trouble. read more

I soooo appreciate great customer service! I definitely received wonderful service here yesterday from the assistant store manager, David. I went in for an oil change cuz they were having a special for $16.95. Plus, they added tire rotation for only $2 more! What a great deal right!? There were 3 cars ahead of me so I left and he called me to let me know it was done. He told me the things that needed to get fixed on my car and how much it would cost and if I wanted to make an appointment to get it done. He was polite and explained things to me. I went in for the deal on the oil change but I wiil definitely come back if the customer service is always this good! read more

I live nearby, and this has become the only shop I take my cars - a vintage classic and a 2010 Porsche Cayenne. Obviously I trust these guys. I also really like that they will take me out in the shop and show me whats going on, ask questions, or point out things that are going to need future attention. I never feel pressured or like I've been talked into something I don't want or need. I would say this is a decent, honest shop that does good work. read more

Called @ noon and spoke to Jorge, he told me to come in. I drove there and was told and shown exactly what the problem was. So I didnt feel clueless or taken. Jorge and Mike told me the job would take a couple of hours. So Mike drove me home. In a couple of hours Jorge then called and Mike picked me up at home and took me to my car. Both gentleman were knowledgeable of what my car needed and quoted me my next oil change visit. I will definitely bring my car back. first of all this is a major warning! Midas was running a synthetic oil change special. My wife and I both called separately and confirmed the price and that they could do it so she made an appointment. When she went in she was simply told we are too busy for you right now come back Monday morning at 8 a.m. and we will take care of you. My wife then asked them will the special still be on Monday and what will it be with taxes they said they did not know what the amount would be with taxes. That was the first major warning sign but my wife decided to go in anyways. My daughter needs the car for a trip, so at this point when she showed up at 8 a.m. today they switched on her and told her they did not carry that oil and charged her $25 more. I called the manager when she came home his name was Sargon oh boy. This guy was something and I only called on a suggestion of corporate and it got worse from here he told me we do not even carry this oil and when I explained to him that she was told she would be taken care of because of the incident he said that's her business. So at this point I have a second call to corporate in they have his name and I told them to take a look at their Yelp ratings also might be an indication of how they are treating customers. I am definitely not the type to leave a bad review like this but I am just trying to help others and hopefully they're corporate handles the situation swiftly. Shame on Midas for having employees like this in their franchise and they wonder why franchises do not last nowadays read above. read more

Came to this facility to get my Volvo's ball joint replaced along with other minor repair. The job was estimated at four hours. Rather than have me sit and wait or catch the bus in the cold the service manager Sargon took me home in his personal vehicle and assured me that the car would be well taken care of. They are a great group of guys at this Midas. My bill was pretty expensive, so he even offered me a coupon that I wasn't aware of. Everyone speaks with a smile and has great customer service. I'm only giving 1 star because 0 is not an option. This place is terrible from top Corporate level to bottom. My car was making clunking noise and taking bumps very hard on one side in the front. They inspected and diagnosed this as needing the yoke replaced. Since they are supposed to be the mechanic professionals and said that this was the problem, I bought the part and allowed them to replace it. When I picked up my car I drove down the street and pulled over and looked to ensure the part had been replaced, I noticed a screw/nail in the tire that they had to remove to do the repairs. I drove back to the shop and they told me it would be $45 to patch even though I didn't have it in my tire when I left my car with them. I decided to just take it to my neighborhood tire shop where they patched it for $15. While driving I noticed that I still had the same rough ride and noises that I had before the work was done on my car. I took the car back to them the next day and they said that they only changed the part that was a safety issue. I explained that I still have noise and my car forked not respond well when going over bumps on that side of the vehicle. He said that they do not inspect for noise but would be glad to reinspect and see what is wrong. I asked why this was not checked for on the first inspection when I specifically told them the symptoms and the original inspection invoice and estimate states noise vibration on it. I asked if I would be charged to let them look at the car again and he said of course I would have to pay for another inspection. All they were interested in was adding on to the total I had already paid and not willing to compromise to offset some of the unnecessary labor that had been performed. At that point I didn't feel comfortable with them working on my car again. I left and called the customer service to report my complaint. This was a waste of time. I had to keep calling to follow up because they would always say that someone from regional management would call me back and never did. I called back 10 times between Oct 20, 2018 and Dec 3, 2018 and have still not received a call back. I have emailed copies of the invoices and photos of the original part that they took off my car and included stock photos of the part new to show that there is nothing wrong with the original and there was no safety issue as they said the bearings were worn out. This part has no bearings at all. It is all metal and only fails if it cracks or breaks and this was not the case. I have since taken my vehicle to 3 other shops that immediately said that the noise and rough ride on that side was due to the strut leaking and needing to be replaced. I also needed inner and outer tie rods and the sway bar link to be replaced. If Midas was concerned for safety then why did their initial inspection not recognize these parts as a concern. Once the strut, tie rods and sway bar link were replaced I have a smooth ride with no more noise and the vehicle doesn't even feel like it hits anything in the road while I'm driving. I feel like Midas was going to replace one part at a time if I would have let them and kept charging to "re-inspect". How many customers do they do this to? Also the customer service and support is a waste of time as they finally explained on my last follow-up call to them, they are only a middle man that relays the info that the shop gives them. They don't have any control or provide any actual customer service, support or satisfaction. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I will continue to try to contact someone higher in the Midas organization and hope that someone cares about the reputation of the name but at this point I am not very hopeful that they care. read more

I spent almost $2000 here expecting never to have a problem with this particular problem again. I had what seemed to be great service in the beginning and like everyone until the problem was "fixed" I had to take it back not even a month later for missing bolts twice! because of theses "little " mistakes it screwed up my whole car. I think this was their plan but assuming it wasn't I went back because again my check engine light came again and said it was he same problem I originally came in for and this time manager (Brian) told me to come back 2 days later because "its just a check engine light and the Guy who fixed it wasn't there " this place was empty and I say my car is turning off, stammering, and unsafe and your telling me to come back? and he says yes. I couldn't believe it, I was shocked and took it to another Midas. I explained my situation and the manager at this other location was pretty shocked as well but said he would take care of it. The next day I found out from the missing bolts my other parts got warped but should b covered. I called back this Ida's and spoke to another manager Rich about everything and he was arguing with me because I told him there customer service was horrible. after arguing with me about his service he was mad I took it elsewhere and was wanting to pick my car up! I said no way your not taking my car back there and a week later my car is still at Midas fixing all of the things they so called fixed that cost me $2000. I cannot believe these men are manager's! Rich and Brian are robbing everyon and giving Midas a horrible name and rep with there horrible service. I hope the other one is better... read more

Terrible shop. I went in for the oil change and tire rotation special. After leaving and driving down the highway one of my tires almost flew off...they had forgot to tighten the lug nuts!!!! They also left the oil cap off as well. Please don't endanger yourself by going there. read more

I went in for an oil change and that went very well, as most standard oil changes do. However when I was getting ready to check out the man at the front desk told me that my breaks and break pads need replaced and better for me to do it now than later. I rarely trust these places because most of the time I feel like it's a scam and from past experience that has proven to be true, and this was no exception. I'm originally from Pittsburgh, so when I went back, I went to my trusted mechanic. He told me that my breaks were totally fine and that there is absolutely no need to get new ones. Very happy that I didn't spend the 500 dollars on breaks like they suggested and will definitely not be going back to Midas. read more

I have been using those coupons, so I am not a stranger there, when I was informed I needed brakes, and after I was quoted 350.00 for rear brakes...methinks not! Great customer service, I do oil change every 3000 miles. Guys at the shop show me some things was going out with my car, had some problems with check engine. I save a lot; car dealer would charge me a lot of money. I had a bad experience with this organization. Went in for breaks which I knew were bad. I was initially given a price quote of over $1000, but ended up spending about $400, which also made me wonder. The long and short of my experience was that in my visit I requested that my oil be changed, my driver-side headlamp be changed, and new wiper blades. When I left it had begun to rain and I reached to turn on my wipers and to my suprise what they had put on as replacenents was much worse than I had already. Not being one to complain much less to write a review my sister suggested that I take the car back. I agreed and made a mental note to do so, but my schedule was hetic for the next several weeks. I contacted Midas explained the situaion and was told to just bring it back when I had time. When my schedule cleared I went back only to be told that they did not charge me for the wipers nor did they carry the brand of wiper I had on my vehicle. Im not professing to be the smartest, but I drive my car everyday and since this happened in the dead of winter I used my wipers just as frequently, and I know my wipers were removed and replaced with something they must have gotten out of the garbage can. The guy (gino) at the frontdesk processed my car and requests clearly noted what I wanted and when I came back no considerationfor my inconvenice was given nor was there any assistance offered to correct the wrong. I refused to pay them for something I feel as thou I paid for, asked for clarification when I was tendered out on, and knowwas removed from my car. This shop is petty and ran by low-lifes as far as I am concerned. My reccomensation is to NEVER do business with them. Before I patronize that location again my car can and will have to completely fall apart and I still wouldnt consider taking my car ghere. read more
