    So my fan was making an awful noise so I brought my truck in. It was not running hot and not leaking any fluids. I got under the truck to make sure pulleys were not loose and fan wasn't before I took it. The pulleys were fine but the fan had some movement in it so I was pretty sure that was the issue. I dropped it off on Monday and they said they couldn't look at it until Tuesday am I said that's fine I rented a car. So I heard nothing from them on Tuesday. I called Wednesday and was like um what's happening with my truck. So they finally got back to me and said it's the radiator. It was leaking all over and split in half. Mind you like I said earlier nothing was leaking and it wasn't running hot. So they ended up taking parts of my truck off that were aftermarket to fit the new radiator they put in. The lady said said they could get it done by this weekend maybe take til Monday. I'm like absolutely not. I told you on Monday I had to have it back by Saturday because I am moving and need it to move my stuff. They said ok. So Saturday rolls around and I drop the rental off in a parking lot next door to make sure my truck was actually fixed before I returned it. I got it and went to start the truck and it's making the exact freaking noise it was when I brought it in. I was livid. So I go back in and am like um why is what I brought it in for not fixed. Pete came out and was like oh its the water pump but it's not leaking so it's fine for now. I'm like that noise is the whole reason I brought it in. It's really loud and obviously something is wrong with it. Then he said oh it's the fan it's warped. It's fine it won't hurt anything. So did the radiator actually need replacing who knows. So I drove it to work and returned the rental that I paid $450 for the week. Omw home from work at 11pm the brake light and battery light come then the power steering goes out so I know it's the serpentine belt. The fan was literallty hanging out of the truck. So I manage to make it back to midas to leave it. So at midnight I had to get an uber to go home. The next morning I have to uber to get another freaking rental because I have to move. It's Sunday so they aren't open. On Monday am I am at midas at 0800 to be like wtf man my truck is still broken. I have this rental til Wednesday at 1pm it better be fixed by then or were going to have big issues. He says oh yes maam we will make it right. So he calls me on Tuesday and tells me it's a bracket on the radiator it fell and then everything else failed. I'm like then fix it and I will pick it up at 1pm on Wednesday. I pick it up on Wednesday and miraculously no more noise from the fan. So far no issues. After I had to have a rental for 9 days and spent $850 on rental cars and ubers plus the $1000 to fix the truck.

Last time they told him he needed a new oil pan. Then they said it would be $400 to replace it! WYF?! Nice try scumbag! I've worked on cars for 30 years. Oil pans don't just "go." I was doing my brakes for the first time since they did them about a year and a half ago. The slide pins had ZERO grease on them. Any mechanic knows that's the sign of a hack. After I finished them, I decided to look at dad's oil pan. Just what I thought....they over tightened the drain plug and stripped it out. I contacted the manager- who was very nice. He said he'd talk to the owner and see what's up. That was almost 2 weeks ago and still no word. I just ordered the pan and gasket. I'll also have to replace the brand new oil they put in because it leaked out all over the garage floor. If you're older, or a female who might not know a lot about cars- stay away! They'll screw you over and instead of manning up and admitting they made a mistake they'll lie and just tell you something needs replacing. Both my parents just passed away- so now with everything else I have to do, I have to deal with this. It's not a big job, but I have 1 day off a month and I have to spend it fixing these hacks mistake. I'm posting this here because they never posted the review I tried to post on their google page.

I recently bought a SUV from a very shady dealer, who sold me a big lemon.. The dealer refuses to help me or contact me.. I have spent over 1700.00 so far in repairs. When I went to your Plaistow location today I was feeling very Anxious and Depressed. Well, after speaking with Ben and they other techs, I was much more relaxed and feeling better about things.. Ben went above & beyond his duty today, he was AWESOME.. I will be sure to let others know how Wonderful and caring ALL the staff there are.. I will Gladly recommend your Plaistow NH service center to anyone who will listen to me in the future..

    I never leave reviews - but after my amazing experience here I felt obligated to spread the word…read more I was driving from NH to NYC when my engine light starting blinking at me and the car started shuddering 25 minutes into the ride. Earlier that day my car was serviced at another station, and I was terrified they had screwed something up that would end up costing me a small fortune. After pulling off at the nearest exit, I found this shop. They immediately set to work on my car, spending a good 40 minutes checking everything that had been serviced. After the full inspection they identified that the air filter box wasn't properly set up & latched (which they fixed) and said it was either that or a bad tank of gas. When I asked how much - they didn't even charge me - which is unheard of! Upon getting back into the highway again, the same issue occurred and I brought it back. They added some enzymes into the gas tank, took it on an extended test drive (20+ mins) to ensure the issue was fixed, and brought it back. Overall, unbelievable service at an incredible price. Coming across a mechanic like this is 1 in a million. Thanks again guys!

    -100000/10 do not recommend…read more I own an Audi Q5, and the check engine light came on about the middle-end of April. I brought it into Monro since they were listed as "in network" for my warranty coverage. They determined it was an issue with the turbo underboost. They looked under the hood and told me that the wastegate rod was "hanging", so they'd be clamping it. They did not inform me that they were repairing this inappropriately nor did they put in writing what repair was actually done. All it says on my invoice (that I have proof of) is "miscellaneous labor". The check engine light was still on, so I brought it to an Audi dealer, who later informed me through narrated video that someone took a cut wheel to the wastegate and clamped the rod in place, thus damaging the entire unit. In order for the light to be addressed, the entire turbocharger needs to be replaced. I then opened a damage claim with Monro and their insurance company, explained the situation, and they sent out an adjuster to speak with Audi and assess the vehicle. I received a call on June 25th that they would be denying liability, since Monro is arguing that the cut wheel was taken to the vehicle before they went in and clamped the rod. I pushed for the insurance agent to answer how they can determine that if there is no written evidence of what they did or did not do, and all she could say was that their decision was based on the report of the adjuster and of the Audi technician.  I feel this is incredibly irresponsible. I never had that unit looked at until Monro went under the hood (I bought it in January), and the manager and the "technician" spent more time telling me how much they'd saved me in replacing a turbo than they did explaining how exactly they were fixing my vehicle, or that their method would irreparably damage it.   I want to get the word out that this company is extremely shady, doesn't provide a proper itemized bill, and expects its clients to shell out even more money for the pieces they break. I will now be forced to take on an expensive repair bill that likely wouldn't be needed had Monro repaired the car properly.

Needless to say a month later still dealing with the issue. We dropped my Land Rover off to have 4 tires and 4 stems put on. We got the truck back and the back passenger tire was put on backwards and the front drivers side stem was so far in that it was losing air over night and the could barely get the cap off to put air in it. We brought it back, and the said come next week and we'll fix it. Went back next week and we got u need to leave it for the weekend. Dropped it off on Friday and was told to pick it up Saturday. Saturday came and said they couldn't do it because no delivers on Saturday come Monday at 2pm and it'll be ready. I go pick up said vehicle and the car was in garage getting worked on. Guy says give me an hour and a half and u can pick it up. I'm like are you kidding me. This wouldn't have happened had u not done it right the first time around. Guy says I'm uneducated and unprofessional. Well I'm not the tire mechanic but it doesn't take education to know a tire is on backwards. The lady for the office came out, threatened to hit me, told my friend to put me in the car and threatened to call the police. I said call them, cause had this not have happened in the first place this wouldn't be happening. Then she had the audacity to come threaten me again this time on video. Yes, on video and not to mention my husband's voicemail as well. Then blames the lug nuts for the problem. Which he had 10 brand new ones to change when he did this. I didn't know lug-nuts changed tires tho . Moral of the story is, if you want to be safe and tires done well and not be threatened I would highly and strongly recommend that u do not take your car there for tires. The bitch even had the audacity to tell him to put my tire on backwards just to get me out of their yard. I have video of this happening too!
