I took my car for a routine oil check on December 3 and on on December 5 my car broke down on me and it a new car I bought my car in October 27,2024 and I have kept up on my oil changes this whole year I usually go to Vavoline to get my oil change and I have never once had anything wrong with my car and I tried Midas for the first time and I regret it I called them back and told them about my car and they told me bring the car back into them just so they could tell me they was some kind of rodent chewed up some kind of tube and that my car over heated on me and that they can fix my car for $ 2500 and start the work on it I was flabbergasted i believe they did something to my car and now I have to take my car to the dealership to get them to look @ it to find out what is wrong with my but to do not recommend Midas to anyone they are full of shit . read more

We had excellent service from Beau and Brandon for a great value! We used to go to Pep Boys, but from now on we will be going to this Midas. They were not over priced like other auto repair places, and they were so friendly. We had wiper blades changed, synthetic oil change, engine service, and brake fluid replaced. We called about getting the breaks done. We told them what another place quoted us and they matched the price. I asked how long it would take to inspect and perform the job and it was 2-3 hours. I made an appointment and was taken in promptly. If I wanted to go eat nearby they would drop me off, but I chose to wait. They were extremely helpful and courteous and kept me updated. I even got an additional $50 off coupon. They're definitely true to their word. read more

First off this reviewthis is fully for the service writer. Which was terrible and lied right to my face! I would not never take flag hours from a mechanic. Here is yhe whole experience I set up and appointment online gave me an appointment time of 930. I get here at 9 15 I live an hour away in the mountains guy ask me how did you make appointment I tell him online he says we'll you don't have one and we cannot do an oil change and tire rotation we are over a week out. He said I have called everyone that has made appointments or tried yo make appointments I show him my call log from today which is not much and said I didn't received a missed call or message he said well I called you. Any who he comes out to the car with 39k on it all service before taken car at acura and gets the miles etc and says can rotate tires on tread on them which is bull and I have pictures yo prove it if the post allows I tell him yo rate them he says no okay fine just change the oil then comes back with we owe him 13 an change at the end and I will be sitting for a while. We bought a oilchange and tire rotation from groupn last week so we are kinda stuck with this place atthis point or I already would have left. The guy was just rude, and in no shape or form customer oriented. Mechanics prob do hood work but the service writer is a joke it sad the someone like him will lose business for his mechanics before they even get to prove themselves and the work they do. The guys were really helpful and fast. I almost had my catalytic converter stolen. The would be thieves took a bolt out and dropped it and the guys put it back for me when I walked in. They didn't charge me for this when they could have taken a service or consult fee and they made sure all the parts were ok. This all took less than 15 minutes. I had also ordered a shield and they installed it a few days later when it arrived and that took about 45 minutes. The whole team is very nice and JP was very helpful in answering my questions and getting me in and out of the shop before I had to get to work. it was awful....I went in for brakes, made an appointment, and it still took 3 hours. I watched multiple employees just standing in the bays smoking, one of which continued to chain smoke for the entire 3 hours, right behind my car. The windows were down, it was windy outside, and my car was full of the smell, and ashes when I finally got it back. I was told by the manager that I needed new rotors and pads, and with a very hefty quote. I had to agree, because my brakes were sounding really bad, it was my understanding and I agreed to all brakes being done. It cost just under $500, took over 3 hours. I paid, and left as I was so done!!!! 7 days later I noticed a squealing sound, I called Midas, and they said, to bring it back, I brought it back, and was told I needed rear brakes done......what the heck did I pay $500 for, and why wasn't my car fixed the first time, I am so upset, especially when I was told that I had to pay again, a total rip off, and I have been scammed. read more

I've been coming to Midas since moving to Temecula 12 years ago. They have always been friendly, helpful, honest and upfront. Even when taking two toddlers to terrorize the waiting room for hours they have always been helpful. Today they went above and beyond. I had just gotten an oil change and my car stopped working. I was stuck waiting for a tow and they came right out to make sure it wasn't something that occurred while getting the oil changed. (There was oil in the car! Lol) Everything was fine. They went a step further to help me on my way and even though they couldn't get it up and running they found the probable cause for my cars issue. I'm still waiting for the tow truck from my dealer (2 hours later) so I thought I'd let you know just how outstanding these guys are. read more

Unmatched Service! Great Group of Guys! Took my car here after having a terrible experience elsewhere. I explained my car issues to Bo over the phone before I got there. Bo gave me the impression on the phone and in person that he knows his stuff and was really hoping to help me out. I got there and it looked relatively busy so I figured I would need to wait a long time. Nope. Had my car up on the rack in under 20 mins. After waiting about 30 mins, Bo called back and explained it would be about an hour to complete the parking brake repair and brake fluid transfer. I sat in the waiting area for a while, just to get a feel for the kind of people work here and how the business is ran. It honestly felt like my old hometown mechanic shop I grew up in. Everyone knew everyone. Techs were talking to customers walking in the door like they were good buddies. Giving the regulars a hard time. Fun things like that. It takes exceptional customer service skill to walk the line between professionalism and making the customer feel comfortable. Personally speaking, if the employees are happy, the work shines. At this Midas, they definitely care about the individual customer and not their bottom line. I got my car home. All the repairs completed. I made an online appointment for a $27.99 Synthetic Blend Oil Change for my son's car. The online program said we would receive a phone call confirming our appointment within 30 minutes of the shop opening the following day. We got no phone call. My wife called to confirm the appointment and was told to have our son come on in. When he got there they gave him a regular oil change and charged us $65.62. I called and left a message asking them to call me, which they didn't. I went by the location two days later and explained I wasn't happy with the outcome. The person I was talking with went to talk to the manager who was a few feet over to my right. The manager said to him "we don't have synthetic blend oil - never had, never will" without even looking at me or acknowledging me. Incredibly unprofessional. At no point in the process of our appointment (online, on the phone or in person) were we told that this location didn't have the synthetic blend oil that we made the appointment for. This was the worst service I have ever experienced for an oil change - not just the bait and switch pricing, but the location's total lack of desire to make any attempt to make things right. I will not be using Midas again. The management here needs some rudimentary training. read more

You have to wonder how a small place like this gets a near 5/5 rating surrounded by competition. Here's how I needed a new catalytic converter on my 4Runner, I was quoted everywhere as $1200 or more. Was $300 here as they had the expertise to not only diagnose that it was only one of my two cats, but the integrity just replace the one part. That's not all, my electrical system was acting up, everywhere wanted 600+ to fix it. Took it here an they replaced the connections to the battery for $15 bucks. That's this team. I put mu first lifetime warranty Midas muffler on my 1965 Mustang in 1973. Some free replacements later I recently developed a hole in the muffler. Midas ordered a new muffler and replaced it free of charge as well as adjusting one of the exhaust pipes. Very happy with the work done on my 1965 Mustang (hang on to those warranties!) and had them add two new chrome exhaust tips for an additional $50. All of my experiences with a variety of Midas Muffler shops has been positive through the years. Have always had great service and friendly staff! Two thumbs up from me! read more
