I appreciated the gesture and trusted his recommendation. Less than a week later, both of my tail lights stopped working. A Toyota specialist determined it was an electrical issue and explained it was being caused by affected wires. Although, they could not confirm which wires until performing a full inspection - he suggested that there is a possibility the bolts placed in the front panels could have caused it because they were replaced very close to wires. He informed me I should reach out to the company that placed the bolts in the car as well as the insurance company and just keep them updated with information as I move forward. A called bumper rescue and informed Nataly what was going on and that my motive was to openly communicate. Unfortunately, I was met with a lot of defensive language and blame placement back on me. I repeatedly said I was only trying to communicate. I was not trying to blame anyone. Comments like, "Well, your car was in a collision," and other similar remarks made me feel like I had to defend myself instead of being heard. It turned what I intended to be a simple conversation into a very uncomfortable experience. Overall, my first impression of Bumper Rescue was excellent and aligned with the positive reviews I had read. Unfortunately, it was the customer service after the fact that changed my opinion. Great customer service allows you to openly express your experience without having to defend yourself. UPDATE: Regarding the Owner's Response After reading the owner's response, I feel one clarification is necessary. The technician strongly suggested to temporarily secure my bumper, and I accepted because I trusted his professional recommendation. More importantly, my original review accurately reflects why I contacted Bumper Rescue. I was following the recommendation of Toyota's specialist to keep the business informed of a potential issue while the cause was still being investigated. That is how responsible communication works, and it remains the reason I reached out. I stand by my review because it reflects my experience and my expectation that open, professional communication should be met with the same professionalism in return. Poor customer service.

Larry inspected the damage, took photos, and offered me options. Repainting the side of the car was going to cost over $2000, which was out of the question given how minor the scratches were. I opted for buffing, which Larry indciated would take care of the scratches. The cost would be $900. He subsequently informed me that the paintless dent repair would be an additional $895. This is about four times the going rate, so I declined and decided to get that done cheaper after the scratches were repaired. I picked up my car today and the scratches are as evident as when I brought the car in. I told Larry I was dissatisfied with the work and that I felt I had been way overcharged. After some discussion, he agreed to reduce my bill to $800, $100 off. I paid the bill and left his shop, still convinced I had been ripped off. Larry, not I, is the guy with experience in paint and dent repair. He had a duty to tell me up front that he wouldn't be able to get the scratches out by just buffing. Had he disclosed that to me, I would have gone elsewhere rather than pay hm $800 for ineffective buffing. I will never go back to Dent and Scratch Pro. Their website pledges "100% satisfaction guaranteed." That's a false pledge. Anyone doing business with Dent and Scratch Pro better thoroughly cross examine Larry on exactly what result to expect before handing over your car and credit card to him.
