Tried this sandwich shop in Anchorage. My Panini sandwich was good and they gave lots of potato chips. They made chocolate chip cookies from scratch and it was good and a big size. Near downtown hotels. $17 sandwich, $4 cookie.

This was stop number 4 on our progressive brunch which means I wasn't hungry and that's important to note as I believe you cannot cook or honestly pontificate on food when you're famished. This local Cafe in anchorage is quite unassuming when you walk in but don't be fooled It's Good. We tried the Flying Pig which I was told was one of the more popular items and I understand why....its delicious. Ham, Sausage, Bacon, friend Egg and I substituted the American for Colby Jack all on a croissant Simple, delicious, flavorful. Paired with a cup of coffee and you are set until lunch.

On a recent rainy day, my sister, mother and I ventured into downtown Anchorage to eat at a specific restaurant. After parking in the garage, we descended to the first floor, and saw the Midnight Sun Café. We decided not to go outside in the rain, and eat here instead. I am so glad that we did! I had the amazing Veggie Breakfast Sandwich on a croissant. If I could eat that every morning for the rest of my life, I would have a smile on my face all day long! My mother and sister also enjoyed their meals. The service was great, and I would gladly eat here again if I were ever in Anchorage.

Cozy and perfect. Great prices, and plenty of options. Everything tastes fresh and local, and it's a fun place to go in Anchorage. I got the Flying Pigs in the Garden on a croissant and I recommend.

Great food, mediocre cold brew depending on the barista. The prices are high I think and the service can be very slow paced. It's adorable keetcy cafe, It's like perfect for visitors and locals alike.

Stooped in for a quick lunch. Got the Italian vegetable goddess sandwich with chips. Very delicious little sandwich. Cute shop with lots of pastries and coffees. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

If you're looking a place to grab a sandwich and soup, you've found it! Things I like: - so many hot paninis to choose from - great soup - good coffee - nice local art on the walls - friendly service - breakfast served all day: pretty good prices for grab-n-go breakfast sandwiches too This place is great if you're a tourist walking around downtown or a local looking for an early breakfast or a lunch on your lunch break.

Well stopped in while I was running the errands downtown for a quick bite to eat. Ended up ordering the angry flying pig and the regular flying pig. The angry flying pig has to be my favorite of all breakfast sandwich now. The amount of meat to bread ratio for this sandwich is amazing. They had the right amount of jalapeños on it. The service here was very quick and great. Definitely a stop to make if you are needing a quick bite to eat and some great coffee.

Both are packed with flavor. Whether ordering in or ordering to go, keep in mind it takes quite a while--almost 10 to 15 mins--for the staff to make your sandwich, so I wouldn't recommend that you stop here in you're in a hurry because you're not going to get it out fast. In this case, call ahead about 30 mins or so if you're picking up. The prices are a little high, but it's worth the price for the quality of the food you're getting, which I can't say for most restaurants in the present era (2020s for those that are reading this in the 2030s and 2040s, if this platform still exists then lol!) Either way, the quality is HIGH and the flavor factor? HIGH! The Classic Piadina is very fresh tasting and comes with greens. It only comes in one size, so it's a little small for me. Still delicious! The Nonni is a pretty large sandwich, if you're getting the full sandwich. The onions combine with the meat enhances the flavors. The building that Originale is in presents itself as a very quaint and relaxed lunch spot with bright colors and large windows. It's a place you can go to sit and talk with friends. I look forward to trying more of their sandwiches.

I went with the "Favorito," and let's just say, it instantly earned its name. The prosciutto cotto was pure-savory-bliss-melt-in-your-mouth good. And the focaccia- fresh, herby, and perfectly balanced in thickness. It hugged the fillings just right without stealing the show. Also, the tomatoes- I did not expect them to be so buttery and delicious. I may have paused mid-bite to appreciate them. Yes, I'm that person. As a die-hard cheese lover, the little bonus cube of cheese on the side felt like a tiny gift--like the sandwich was giving me a wink and saying, "Hey, I see you." Originale, I'll be back. Probably sooner than I should be.
