During Covid I moved to a new apartment and needed a new barber. I looked around and I was having trouble finding something that was up to my standards until I found this place. Upon walking in I was greeted by this gentleman named Roman who ended up giving me my haircut. Let me tell you, I have a weird shaped head and I remember mentioning this to Roman before he started and the way he hid the flaws of my misshaped head is pretty impressive. He also offered me a razor to clean up the edges and a hot towel in the end. Definitely a good experience every time I go, Roman's son Eli also works there and he is just as good of a barber as Roman. Definitely would recommend to anybody that needs a good barber. read more

I had a great experience here about 3 days ago. I was visiting NYC for a friend's wedding, and needed to find a place that could give me a quality shave. Fortunately I was staying only a couple of blocks from this barber shop. It was fabulous. A barber named Eddy helped me. He was very nice, and I was very impressed with the techniques he used to give me the smoothest shave for my head and beard I think I've ever head. Quite remarkable. It was very cheap price I think for both services, but I thought it was worth it for the occasion I needed it for. The entire place was very clean and welcoming as well. I've been going here for years now and I wouldn't ever want to go anywhere else. I get my cut from Eddie, and he cuts phenomenally. Ilya and Roman are great too. It feels like home when I come here, good atmosphere and great people. Eddie really cares about the quality of the cut, and he always cuts it how I want. I've witnessed him recommend specific cuts to customers that weren't sure of what they wanted, and they too were very satisfied. We can talk and have good conversations, but he's always very focused and diligent with his work. This Super barbershop has an amazing environment. You'll never get bored waiting there since Eddie is very friendly and funny. Along with that, he has TV's on the wall and great upbeat music. Eddie has been my barber for a long time and has always done an excellent job. Eddie is a perfectionist and always want his clients to be satisfied with their cuts. Exactly what I wanted. This is a true New York barber shop. Service was fast, price was fair, and most important my hair looks good. Fade was contoured well and suits my face. Even got some unexpected and appreciated extras. Clean neck shave and a hot towel. RFor the past two years I stop shaving and only get hot shaves with a straight edge shaver. I've been all around the world including Ireland, Boca Raton Florida, San Francisco California, Chicago Illinois, Nashville Tennessee and the best Hot Shave I've ever gotten has been at premium Barber shop on 52nd St. Yuri and his crew are the best around at reasonable prices. Really happy this new location opened. This is an extension of the premium barber shop across the street but with a new (and cleaner) interior. The guys do a great job and the prices are reasonable.
