The food here was VERY good, with many choices and options. I went with a group and we were able to try multiple dishes and they were all good. This is a hidden gem in this area and you should go out of your way to try this location out. Sharlay was a JOY and both her service, her suggestions, her smile, her demeanor and conversation were enough to bring us back a second time during our 3 day stay. I am excited for the next time I go back because everything on the menu sounds delicious!! Great outdoor patio area. They were able to accommodate our two dogs which was super helpful because if not, we wouldn't have been able to dine there. My only complaint is all the flies buzzing around our table and food. That was annoying and kinda gross. But they accommodated with mini table fans to clear them away. It helped a little. We ordered the trout...Yum, wagyu steak medium rare...cooked to perfection but little disappointed by the lack of taste and flavor. We also had the summer salad which was amazing!! Ended with the whiskey apple pecan pie...delish. Have to give props to Kevin, our server. He was super cool, knowledgeable on the menu and honest with his thoughts on the menu. I appreciated that. Next time you think about eating out at park city...don't and drive a little out of the way to this gem!! read more

Decided to visit Midway Mercantile after its feature on the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, haha. The nighttime ambiance felt dark, familiar, and romantic, enhanced by the cozy glow of the wood furnishings. The highlight for us was the food. Absolutely recommend the halibut curry dish and salmon peach dish. We were delighted they carried hard cider from Angry Orchard. We are looking forward to coming back to try their pizza during ski season along with their desserts. The service was a little lacking given the "upscale" branding. Nothing atrocious- just little things like never taking the oyster shell plate off the table and disappearing near the end of our meal. Nothing against the waiter, I think they are understaffed. Overall, highly recommended. We are excited to come back after skiing in the area. read more

I hate to leave negative reviews, but I will give you the facts and let you decide for yourself. For me, it was a 2/5 experience. The ambiance was fun, and the restaurant was beautiful and clean. The drinks were creative and enjoyable, and they were very accommodating with last-minute reservation changes. Unfortunately, the service was slow and of poor quality. The food is priced like a fine dining establishment ($25-$48 per entrée), but it tasted closer to a $15 meal from any casual restaurant. The server forgot part of our order (the appetizer), and we weren't served water until we were nearly finished with our meal, only after I flagged down another server. Our server never checked in with us, and it took nearly 40 minutes from the time we ordered until we saw them again to ask for the check so we could leave. Here's the detailed explanation: The server took around 15 minutes to come to our table to ask for drink orders. They said, "I'll bring out some waters for you, and would you like anything else to drink or any appetizers?" We ordered some wine, a cocktail, and a fondue appetizer. Five minutes later, the server returned and asked about our drink orders again because they had forgotten. Alcohol was brought out quickly after that (less than three minutes), and they then took our entrée orders. The server gave excellent suggestions for food. The appetizer never came. The food came out a little later, though we still did not have water. The taste and quality of the food were subpar considering the price and ambiance. After about 20 minutes, I flagged down another server to ask for water, which was quickly served to us. We finished our meal and waited another 15 minutes until our server walked by so we could ask for the check. In total, two drinks and two entrées cost $92 after tip. Take this information with a grain of salt. There are plenty of good reviews for this restaurant, and we were very excited to have our special night out here. Perhaps it was bad timing, or the server was on a smoke break, or it was just a rough night. I can't be sure. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our experience and don't recommend it. Staying at the homestead and needed somewhere to eat late, had no idea we would stumble into somewhere so amazing!! Absolutely adored the ambiance, food, service and menu options. Me and my date are both gluten free and we were stoked to see so many creative options available to us. We had the fried chicken, calamari, and lavender orange chicken which was SO good i'm still thinking about it. Garrett our server was fantastic, and was nice and friendly even though we came right before close. I only wish i could've tried the gluten free desserts but I plan to go back and try next time! I happened to stumble upon this gem when visiting the area from out of town. As I arrived to be a tourist for the afternoon visiting the homestead crater (which is essentially a natural hot tub), I had some time to kill and a mild appetite building up. Although I came in between lunch and dinner hours I was greeted by friendly staff. As you know the rule of not swimming too close to after you eat I decided to order only a single item. The autumn, seasonal pizza is described as follows : Creamy Basil Pesto, Chanterelle and Crimini Mushrooms, Delicata Squash, Caramelized Onion and Gruyere Cheese with a must on the spicy sausage add. The flavor combination was incredible and the crust was crisp and light. The 10 inch was almost too much for a single sit down, but I couldn't resist polishing it off in the one sitting. Although I may not return for the hot tub, I definitely go out of my way next time I'm in the Park city area to stop here again. read more

It was ok. The wait was so long for food, there's very little parking, and we were sat outside at night where the bugs took over. The bugs got in our food drinks, hair, nose, etc. The food was ok. Some of us were very happy, some of us thought it was just ok. I do not recommend sitting outside and be prepared to walk a few streets over. read more

This is the one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at!! A definite must visit when in town. We did drive a bit of a distance but it was all worth it. We were met at the table by John, none other than the owner or the establishment! What an amazing touch. He threw down some amazing selections to include their pasta special. Personally had their Red Snapper and it was amazing. Everyone raves about their food within the group and all were impressed. Even their desert hit the mark. A must visit!! well, let me start by saying yes, the ambiance is nice so I suppose we can throw in a star for that, but quite honestly it ends there. first of all our hostess was so rude she seemed like we were a burden to her by just asking to be seated, and when our table was ready she didn't even wait for us to get up she just walked off without us. then, our waitress, who was very kind, didn't let use know about an item that was $15 on the menu for changed to $20. Imagine our surprise looking at the bill. Additionally, they got our orders wrong! Wasn't cool. Food was yummy but my side of rice was extremely crunchy and almost broke a tooth. My husband ordered the gnocchi special which was around 45$ but had only 10 pieces of gnocchi. He did say it was absolutely amazing, but he could have easily eaten 2 orders. Small restaurant. We have been here before and food was 3.5 star decent, it's little over priced. This last visit, the host was clearly over worked and stressed, my first encounter with someone so rude. While there were tables open, they appeared to be understaffed and overwhelmed by the crowds. Super disappointed, we were hoping for a lovely evening and had the opposite due to what appeared to be poor management. It's not worth the drive unless you have reservations and based on the crowds, service could be an issue. For the price, not really worth the hassle. Park City has much more to offer. read more

Our food for a party of six did take a little while to come out which I guess is normal sometimes. A chef did come out to communicate an issue with our ticket and apologized, which was very professional. It was inconvenient that our entrees came out one at a time with a 3 minute spacing between each plate. They did however take off the last entree to arrive. Aside from that, our food was delicious! I would like to note that I feel our server didn't check on us as frequently as she should have. If this was due to her being oversat, then this would be managements fault and not hers. read more
