Went here based on reviews and glad we did. My husband ordered a burger and fries and he said they were really good. But I ordered the bacon ranch chicken wrap, based on Emily's ( the owner's daughter's) recommendation. I'm glad I listened because it was really good!! Plus I got onion rings- that were fabulous. Well, we usually rave about Fat Hats. The onion rings are awesome, but tonight, not so much. We ordered supper to go. Not sure if they have new cooks but everything was over cooked. Asked for slaw on one of the burgers, no slaw. The fish plate, the fish was over cooked and it was supposed to come with hush puppies, no hush puppies. The burgers were underwhelming and undersized.Maybe it was an off night. We usually get lunch and it's always been awesome, but this was the first time we got food there for supper. This is a small town diner. If you get there during prime hours, you may have to wait for a table! We had a bacon cheese burger with fries and a grilled ham & cheese with Diet Cokes. Both were yummy. They also have ice cream, shakes & serve breakfast in the morning. We will be back! read more

I love going to little local spots like this. Old school dinner, still have to go outside to restrooms in back. The staff was super friendly and told me I need to get the onion rings, they are hand cut and dipped, not like the frozen ones you get every where else. The food was good, the service was ok was not outstanding or on top of things. We never were asked for refills. Maybe we were supposed to get up and ask..not sure. The staff were friendly though! The first thing I thought was there are lots of people here for this time of day which is a good sign for the food but we're a big group and will be hard to get seated. Don't let the outside fool you. This is an diamond in the rough. Laid back feeling with burgers and food made the way it use to be. Short order food that will make you want to drive a little further to get it. Staff was super friendly and a great help in getting the food you are wanting. My double burger was just that. It was a two hand double that was dripping out the bottom with flavor. I wish I would have taken a picture but it didn't stay on the plate long enough to photograph. They had a nice selection on the menu, however, we got the special, which was a grilled cheese sandwich and beef cabbage soup. We also ordered the onion rings.
