I ordered a pulled pork sandwich my wife,mother in-law,and grandson ordered a baked potato. We also ordered three fountain drinks and my wife ordered a draft beer.For a very small pulled pork sandwich, three baked potatoes,three fountain drinks, and two beers our bill was $74.67. This is one of those restaurants that charge you a Tip prior to receiving any service so my added tip was $10.00 for them to bring the food to our table and let us know that if any of us was drinking tea that they were pouring it out because it was 10 minutes till closing. I guess when you get out of your car at a BBQ restaurant and don't smell smoke or BBQ that's a good sign to leave. Pulled pork =BLA no smoke flavor I believe it was crockpot pork.Potatoes hard half cold half boiling hot just like microwave potatoes. If this wasn't in such a small town there is no doubt it would not be in business! Take my advice. Do not waste your time or money here. Go to Burger King. The food was so bad and the portions so small I didn't bother taking any pictures. PS: My wife ask the manager why such a change and of course we got the old worn out excuse.(IT's BECAUSE OF COVID) breaking news. That was 6yrs ago! I believe everyone is tired of hearing that excuse.

Just little mistakes that they should not be making. The frosty was thin and diluted. No flavor and very little thickness. Maybe out of that mix, too? I suggest that the managers be held responsible for making sure the employees have what they need to do their job, and training the employees to stay organized (or pitch in and give them a hand). If you want juicy tasteful burgers homemade onion rings that remind you of years ago , then this is the place to go. My husband and I finally went there to eat after being in Sweetwater for 4 years. I wished we would have come in sooner. Juicy burgers, fresh toppings, homemade onions rings...OMG!!!! I can see why the place is well frequented by the locals. And students from the Sweetwater Institution of Cosmetology get take-outs from here. read more

Carl's is easy to find as there is a large, slightly faded, sign out front. There are also stalls on the back side of the building. There is one ordering sign between each pair of stalls, so you make sure you are on the correct side if you do not have passenger. The menu is pretty extensive. There are several burger options along with hot dogs and chicken sandwiches. The prices are very good, especially for the baskets which include fries. Oh, and they only take cash so make sure you stop at the ATM before you drop by. When you are ready to order, push the green button. The server answered immediately and read back out order afterwards. Our food came out in about ten minutes. It was served in a bag with lots of ketchup packets as well as some salt packets.
