We took four boys here last night. Most of the employees that work there are very unfriendly especially the grumpy lady in the ticket booth. There were a few nice guys that work there but most not so much! I was very disappointed, as a local, in their attitudes and general rudeness. I'm sure that they deal with a lot of different types of people but every customer I experienced was nice and polite. I discussed with several folks how rude the employees were. My 7 yr old was kicked out of a race for driving too fast and crashing into people. I was watching him the entire time and he was doing nothing deliberate. He was also doing nothing worse than what some adults were doing during other races I watched. I will not go back and spend another $40 a kid at this place and I'm 15 mins away. I will drive the 30 minutes to OC to go to Jolly Rogers! Midway you need an upgrade! read more

This is the worst miniature golf course I have ever played. They used duct tape to hold together all the rips on the course. The landscaping ( if you can call it that) was laying on many of the courses, the water area smelled and was filthy. read more

We first got there and it was packed. The staff at the go carts were running around like maniacs. Sean up.on the figure 8 track did an outstanding job. He was everywhere and did everything he could to make it an enjoyable experience. Prices are decent especially for the beach. 8 ride for 40.00. The length of the rides were really good. read more

If I could give no stars, I would! Lines were atrocious and not because it is 4th of July 2015 but because cars weren't working or were out of gas. Attendants looked like they would want to be elsewhere. I get that, I was young once too but a job is a job. Oh and get ready to pay Disney prices for South of the Border rides. Our family has had a great time here several years in a row but this year it was different. I think the oldest staff member working was 18. The life guards appeared to barely be watching. I cut my leg on a rusty pipe that was sticking out. The lifeguards on the slide were not paying attention and a large adult almost fell right on my friends 7 year old child. Another pipe in the kids section was broken. I told the lifeguard and he did not even acknowledge that I was speaking to him. If you are looking for a fun, clean, and challenging miniature golf course, then definitely stay away from here. The course was in horrible condition. Many of the carpets were badly worn and even torn. Several lights were burned out inside the volcano and it was difficult to see the hole. The evening bugs were also biting us as we played. If I could rate this zero stars I would. First off, terrible customer service. The employees are rude, unprofessional, and beyond disrespectful. I would advise to NOT go to this place. This is a great place to have fun with your kids; and the staff is fantastic. I recently took my son there who is autistic and they took great care of us. My son accidentally hit one of the staff on the roadway and even then they took the time to come up to him and tell him it was ok (fortunately the staffer was ok) and to encourage him. I was so impressed by their attitudes and grace. 5 stars isn't enough for how kindly we were treated by the staff in a tough situation - these folks are awesome! read more

My Daughter was injured after the steering wheel locked on a Go Kart. The staff was rude and inconsiderate even after it was stated we were headed to the hospital. They would not supply an incident report and refused to provide the full name of the employee whom witnessed the incident. HORRIBLE Experience! Very poor business practice. Took my family there for the day and the staff was rude. Life guards were pointing and laughing at children going down the slides. My personal experience with the park staff was that I was told that had to pay to sit at a table and watch my family enjoying the park facilities even though the park was half empty. read more

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! if i could give this place 0 stars i would.They are grossly overpriced which wouldnt be so bad if it was any fun at all. Their staff, particularly the young girl at the ticket booth, was extremely rude and unknowledgable. My son was frightened off a ride after the attendant told him to punch the gas while he started the go cart engine, then letgo without giving him any warning, causing him to crash into the wall. None of the other rides were any fun, and when i say over priced i mean 4 adult tickets for $30, and it takes 2 tickets to ride some of the rides!!! Vacationing from Columbus, Ohio and I've been to Ocean City, MD for many many years since I was a kid. I took the time and did some research on the amusement parks nearby and ultimately went with Midway because it would save me some money since I have 3 children. Needless to say we had a blast! The lazy river, kiddie pool, tunnel slides & other slides were so much entertainment for my kids. It was so nice that it wasn't overcrowded and that there were lifeguards on duty everywhere. It gave me such peace of mind. We did all day passes for the water park and then golf and 4 extra tickets. The go karts were a blast and the bumper boats literally made our week!! The only reason why I'm not giving a 5 star is because no coolers are allowed in the park. However we noticed someone with a cooler and asked again if coolers were allowed and they said no. We just went out to our vehicle to eat our packed lunches but it would've been nice to take it in. Overall we had an amazing time and we'll definitely be back next year! read more

Not impressed at all with the speedway portion of this amusement area. We were in Ocean City last month where you can pay $50 to ride unlimited for two hours and they don't have nearly as many options here. Also beware of the bracelets, they have numbers on them that are pulled off to "pay" for each ride, but my sons bracelet fell off when he was in the water bubble thing and the numbers all came off. And two just dropped off my daughters bracelet without her noticing. They are void if removed and so I had to argue that my kids weren't liars and stealers to get them to give me replacement tickets and they still wouldn't replace everything we lost. Horrible customer service. Purchased 3 wrist bands for the kids in May. Was told by the woman working at the booth that we could use some of the tickets from the wristband and then cut the band off and come back another time. Went back in July and went on 2 rides no problem. My son went to another track and tore off his ticket and gave it to the attendant. Since my son tore off his own ticket the attendant would not allow him on the ride or give his ticket back. I asked the attendant for my son's ticket back and he refused. I asked to speak to a manager. I was told the owner would be there the next day but I could talk to his son. I waited about 25 minutes for 4 teenagers to come to talk to me. I explained the situation and all they did was laugh at me and refuse to give my son's ticket back or let him on the ride. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.
