After texting him an hour later, I found out he had moved out of state. He referred me to a friend, assuring me he'd be able to help right away. Let's just say that friend never returned my calls or texts either. By late morning, I was starting to realize getting same-day service from a company I didn't already have a relationship with was probably going to be an uphill battle. In a slight panic -- because let's be honest, this is definitely a first-world problem, but I can no longer survive without AC -- we called Service Express. They were able to send two HVAC technicians out by 3 PM that same day, and thanks to them, I got to sleep comfortably on the first hot, sticky evening of the season. The technicians were incredibly kind and professional. They took great care to cover their shoes while inside my home, thoroughly explained the issue, and I felt the pricing was very fair. I'll absolutely be using Service Express again in the future and would definitely recommend them if you're in a bind and need fast, reliable service.

She said they are scheduling furnace inspections for the fall now, and I know their schedule fills up fast. In fact, I missed getting on their schedule for last year (2024) and then they told me I did not need it, since the furnace was only a year old. Their scheduling is that you call, leave a message with the receptionist, and then, they call you back to schedule service, usually later in the day. I've left my phone on every day from 5 am until 8 pm when we go to sleep. Home Comfort installed the furnace ac, thermostat and humidifier back in 2023 brand new. Everything is working great but I'm a teacher and start work next week so I figured I'd get this scheduled now, since I can't always keep my phone on, and answer it. I finally asked the receptionist, why isn't he calling me back, and she said, oh, he keeps a list for furnace checks, and he'll get to it, later. He's busy with a/c right now. Maybe tell people that, because here I'm glued to my phone, and not realizing that. July 22, 2025 Home Comfort out today to see why the a/c they installed in Oct 2023 only works sporadically or when I reset the system by turning the thermostat (that they installed) on and off to get it restarted. It kept stopping and then not restarting, after the temperature was at the point I had set. So if the room got warm again, no a/c, unless I turned everything off and then back on again, after waiting at least 5 minutes. Home Comfort replaced the thermostat for no cost, and told me I have a 10 year warranty on the a/c, thermostat, furnace, and humidifier that they installed in 2023. I did not know that. Don't call anyone else. I had a company out here 2 week ago, paid them, and they could not figure out why the a/c was not always working and that cost me way too much. Lesson learned. You have to get Home Comfort out because their techs know stuff other companies don't know. They installed American Standard equipment, but the new thermostat (that works) is Emerson. They installed Aprilaire for the humidifier. Now, my a/c is super cold because it is staying on and restarting as the house needs cooling. Finally, It's working properly! So happy! But now, they're not returning my calls to check the furnace for the winter.....

Andrew arrived at my house, not in a company truck with no logos etc. He stated that he could diagnose my refrigerator and get it up and working. We called LG for a new compressor and a new memory board that was under warranty (free) from LG. It was shipped directly to my house. Andrew and a friend came back with hardly any tools needed for the job and replaced both items. I paid him $500! My refrigerator worked for a few weeks then stopped cooling. I called Andrew and after many attempts and days passed he got back to me. He came back and put additional coolant in the compressor and left. It never worked and after multiple weeks of texting and calling he never got back to me. I had a different repair company come out and that technician fixed the problem within two hours. He used a computer to update the memory board (something Andrew never did). This repair person told me all the things that Andrew and Arts Repair didn't do properly and just skipped in his workmanship. DO NOT USE ARTS APPLIANCES. Lack of customer service! Lack of trust. It seemed shady when he showed up and I should have gone with my gut and not used them. I called the local appliance store that told me about Arts Appliance (Andrew) and notified them of the situation. They stated that they should not have recommended Arts Appliance because it's a company policy not to refer business to other companies even if it is an LG. They told me that was their 2nd call of the day regarding Arts Appliance and the same scenario.
