The best macarons in town can be found at miFLAVOUR. This modern French bakery offers macarons that are a bigger size than the standard ones you'll likely find other places. You can pick out your own or get a pre-set bundle. My only issue with the macarons is the lid on the container. It just kind of rests on the container, not really securing the macaron should the lid fall off. If macarons aren't your thing, there are also a lot of other fun desserts here like fruit tarts and cakes. If you can't make it out to the E. Sprague location, you can find miFLAVOUR's macarons around town at stories such as Huckleberries and Rocket Market. Although, the café itself is worth a visit since there are plenty of tables and the inviting space encourages one to stay a while. It's really the perfect place to catch up with a friend while sharing a pastry.

This bakery blew me away. The artisan bakery goods are 5 Star fantastic! The prosciutto Apple Brie croissant sandwich was pitch perfect. Latte was served hot, in a cognac glass. The fruit Pavlova was flawless. The classical piano music added to the modern vibe. The decor is creative, comfy and spotlessly clean. The video of bakers creating masterpieces has high production value and I couldn't stop watching it. Like poetry in motion. Haha

Overpriced. Just had the chocolate raspberry Swiss roll. Prob old cuz it's dried and the raspberry cream didn't taste good neither. Swiss rolls at grocery store prob way better than this. Will try the apple cinnamon later and see.

3 macarons, key lime pie, and red velvet cake.

They girl I ordered from was pleasant. I got a key lime pie, three macorons, red velvet cake, chocolate swiss roll and the hazelnut cake. The key lime pie was like all others, the macaroons were good and I REALLY liked the hazelnut cake. The place itself is very clean, though i personally am not a fan of all white rooms atmosphere. The plants by the window are cute.

The croissants? Amazing! The best I've had in Spokane. But the true delicacy here is the experience of feeling like an inconvenience just for existing. Five stars for ambiance if you enjoy the thrill of mild hostility with your midday pastry. I don't know what was flakier, the pastries or their customer service. Today, my visit was particularly disappointing. Both my boyfriend and I are diabetic, and I simply asked a staff member if she knew the carbohydrate count for the almond croissant. I completely understand if this information isn't readily available, but what I don't understand--or accept--is the dismissive and passive-aggressive response I received. Her exact words were: "Since we're a small business, we don't need to know these things." When I explained that I wasn't expecting her to know but that it would be helpful due to my diabetes, she responded with even more attitude: "Well, we don't know." A simple, polite response like, "I'm sorry, I don't have that information" would have been perfectly fine. Instead, I was met with unnecessary sass, making an already frustrating situation worse.

Absolutely amazing bakery. The pastries not only look incredible but also taste delicious! I've had everything from plain croissants, macarons, to my own custom wedding cake. They recently had croissant donuts available and, wow, the texture and flavors were SO good!

miFLAVOUR always hits the spot. Delicious desserts (got the fruit tart today) and the drinks quench your thirst. My go to here is the iced chai tea with lavender and vanilla - 10/10. It's on the corner of Sprague and Freya. The inside has tons of seating and the best part is they have fast wifi if you need to work on your laptop.

Such a cute spot w delicious delicate pastries. The location is a bit random but i would be back for their pastries and gelato!! Somewhat new in the area.

Food- tasted food and the macaroons were larger than expected. My daughters loved the fruity pebble, passion fruit but I myself didn't care for the coffee one. They had a lot of options for pastries that range in price starting at about $8 and up. Another cool thing g is that they make inhouse candy bars with your choice of chocolates and toppings. Service - good Ambiance- we absolutely loved the decor is was so aesthetic with multiple places to take pictures at. I only have quick photos but trust in person is much better.

Incredibly beautiful bakery. I love the interior design - it has a luxurious and clean feeling. Besides sweets, there are coffee/other drinks to order. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable about each item. Fast service as well. You can choose to take out or eat in the bakery. They will provide plates and utensils if you decide to stay. Having been to Paris, the prices and quality are actually comparable to miFLAVOUR; 1 pastry can be $6-10 and the quality is near perfection. Macarons are more expensive here than it was in France. We got 3 items and there were all very delicious. None were overly sweet. The tiramisu's mascarpone cheese was light and creamy. Raspberry is slightly tart (which I like). The location is out of the way and there is limited parking, but I would love to come back to try other items. 4.5/5

I. LOVE. MiFLAVOUR! One of the only times I don't ever complain about the price XD. This little French patisserie is worth it every cent. They have such a huge menu and it's all good, I'm not kidding. They have both sweet and savory items (limited savory fair warning)! Their staff is as sweet as their desserts and they're always willing to take their time explaining flavors and to take long orders. I topped in for their limited time beignets. We tried the huckleberry flavor, classic, tiramisu, as well as their veggie sandwich and ham and cheese croissants. Their coffee was immaculate to boot. I really can't recommend them enough. Only down side is limited seating and parking!

What a great place to have a pastry and a cup of fresh brewed iced tea. This is our go to spot for breakfast when we're in Spokane. The chocolate croissant is one of the best I've had. It's my go to when we visit a bakery and the croissants here are great. This last visit we had a berry, cream cheese Danish style croissant pastry and it was wonderful. We've been to Spokane, thanks to work five times in the last 20 months and we were here at least twice each time. Don't miss out if you're in the area.

We ordered 3 different types of desserts. The caramel chocolate cake had no hint of caramel in it. It tasted like a plain chocolate cake, nothing special. The key lime tart was inedible, did not taste like real lime and the crust tasted reminiscent of a bland, wet fortune cookie. The only dessert that we enjoyed was the hazelnut chocolate cake, reminded my sister of tiramisu. The place is brand new, so I hope they choose to improve their recipes in the near future. On a positive note, the presentation of the cakes was very well done. read more

I went in on a whim, it's in my area so I thought I'd try it out. The Macarons are amazing! I did grab a couple of the bunny ones and they were really sweet and the middle tasted like butter. The lemon meringue tarts were fantastic. I also tried the hazelnut cake, it was a bit stale but had good sized chunks of hazelnuts. The desserts are made well and you can tell they take a great deal of time on them. In the future I'll probably order ahead. read more

3 years ago when miFlavour opened, i felt like i was the luckiest person to find such excellent pastries. however, for at least a year or more it has been "hit and miss" on the quality of their products. i dont know what has changed, but what a shame. i just had another "subpar" (tasted over baked and the outer coating way too thick) pastry. as much as i loved miflavour in the past, i dont think i want to chance being disappointed again. read more

Ella helped with a small cake for a friend's birthday and we couldn't have been happier! I didn't have a reservation for a cake in advance but called on Thursday for a cake that same weekend. Ella was able to give me a list of the cakes she was going to be making for the weekend and I was able to choose from those. The cake was absolutely gorgeous - topped with fresh flowers and different colored macrons - almost too pretty to eat, but were glad we finally cut into it because it was soooooo delicious!! This bakery is the bomb. We ordered our wedding cake from them because they specialize in European style baked goods. Including Italian buttercream frosting. IBF puts American frosting to shame. It melts in your mouth without leaving a greasy film. Our cake had three flavors: Almond cake with passion fruit and pineapple filling (So bright and light), chocolate cake with dulche de Leche and hazelnut mousse, and tiramisu. Every person at our wedding went back for seconds!!! And we ate it the next morning for breakfast. To say we were happy would be a gross understatement. Ella can make anything you desire...so don't wait. read more

If you like sweet treats and beautiful desserts, miFLAVOUR is the spot for you! I have visited this bakery three times and each time was wonderful. The Macarons are my favorite treat. There is a wide variety of flavors and they also make cakes. The prices for such high quality desserts is affordable and will have you coming back again and again. Went there today with my sons, it's a bit puzzling on how to get into the actual store but yay we made it! We walked in and not only were we excited, we were mesmerized by how beautiful everything looked. The baker (not certain) walked up to us and our excitement was dimmed as she did not appear happy that we were there, speaking wise she was ok however based on her demeanor, this made our experience not quite as nice. Nonetheless, we picked out some items that looked delicious and took them home. The slice of cake my youngest got which had a pretzel on it, he said definitely not worth the price being charged. However my lemon meringue tart was oh so delicious. Right amount of tartness in the curd and I loved the meringue which almost tasted like marshmallows. I also tried the maple bacon macaron and at first I thought something was wrong with it as I kept spitting out a texture that didn't feel right. I had to laugh as silly me they actually use real bacon pieces in the macaron. Overall with the exception of our in store experience, desserts were pretty good. Will we return, for the desserts we probably will. Just hoping the person that waits on us will place a smile on their face. (perchance it was an off day for her) read more

We came here for dessert on a whim. How fortunate were we! We enjoyed the most decadent chocolate cake and perfectly chewy macarons. There is a great selection of pastries, sandwiches, and chocolates all freshly made in house, in addition to espresso and fine teas. This place is awesome!!!! Had a sandwich (incredible) and some macaroons, and an ice cream sandwich. The decor is GORGEOUS. The staff is so nice. The only thing I don't like-there's one part of the counter where the pastries are just sitting on the marble. No shield... anything could get on them. My friend went to sneeze and of course used her arm but had she not, it would've gone over all the food. I didn't order anything off that counter because of that. Might wanna fix. Other than that, I LOVE THIS PLACE. read more

Don't let the current exterior fool you! Surprisingly cute and modern interior with a lovely staff. The few tables they have are a nice place to enjoy a coffee and sweet treat while watching them make all of their creations right before your eyes! My faves are the passion fruit macaroon, fruit pavlova, and fruit tart. read more

I heard about miFLAVOUR from a coworker and decided to stop by and give it a try. I have now been to this place 4 or 5 times and I absolutely love it. The best Macarons you will ever have the pleasure of biting into, seriously they rival those in France! I just discovered miFLAVOUR today and I am bewildered as to why they are not the most talked about bakery in Spokane for the best variety of decadent desserts and french pastries. I have complained for years that one must drive to Seattle's Pike Street Market for great Macarons at Le Panier; but now today I had the best true French Macarons I've ever had at miFLAVOUR with more fun flavors to choose from than I could have imagined! read more

From fresh churned Italian gelato, fresh squeezed orange juice, chewy macarons, crisp croissants, and decadent cakes to services like corporate gifting, wedding cakes, custom cakes and even catering services, miFlavour’s offerings are vast enough to delight any taste or occasion. It is also that miFLAVOUR’s standard is to search locally for the finest ingredients, but Max and Ella aren’t afraid to import those things that are just incomparable to the ingredient’s birthplace.

History

Established in 2016.

While we all know the classic tale of boy meets girl, this one has a journey to the sweetest of ends. Max and Ella Piskun met and began dating several years ago. Ella, being the amazing pastry chef she is, made Max the now famous Adeo Jr. for their second date. It was literally love at first bite. Max knew this creation and others like it needed to be shared with the world and his entrepreneur skills were just the thing to do it. They began talking about opening a modern French bakery. The more they did, the more they fell in love with the idea, but more importantly, in love with each other. They tied the knot and started miFLAVOUR. Through trials, kitchen disasters, and lots of love and laughter, they were able to bring the world the amazing café and bakery that miFLAVOUR is today. When I got to the counter, I mentioned I was there for the birthday coupon, showed the code, and was told it had already expired--on my actual birthday, June 18th That was shocking. Most places give you a few days after--or even a full month--to use a birthday reward. I wasn't asking for something unreasonable. I just missed it by one day due to a busy weekday, and I genuinely didn't even know it expired on the birthday itself. What made it worse was the way it was handled: no "happy birthday," no kindness, no flexibility--just a flat, "It's expired." It really put a damper on something that was supposed to feel special. And to be honest, this is the second year in a row that I've walked away from a birthday visit here feeling disappointed and a little embarrassed. Any time I come in with a coupon or reward, it feels like I'm being treated differently--like I'm doing something wrong by trying to redeem what they offered me. I'm not asking for free stuff all the time--I happily support Hello Sugar all year long. But if you're going to offer birthday rewards, they should feel celebratory, not frustrating or awkward. And a little grace and kindness can go a long way in those moments. I still love their donuts, and I want to keep coming back.
