I was staying at the Hyatt in the area and needed coffee desperately in walking distance. So glad I found this stand. There's a walk up area and one drive thru window. I was greeted pleasantly despite how busy she was. I got a simple americano and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the coffee was! They were out of some food items but I was able to find something. I got the mini croissant that had sausage and egg and a lemon poppyseed muffin top because who doesn't love those! Such a cute little coffee stand! I've visited other Mighty Mug locations in the past but this was my first experience here. I had a major mom fail and forgot my kids' water bottles at home. I only realized this when they were ALL thirsty at the same time and drastic times became drastic measures. I pulled in to the first coffee stand I saw, ready to pay for water if I needed to. The barista was so kind and happily handed over 3 waters for my kids (who were very happy for hydration lol) and I ordered myself an energy drink for the drive home. I stopped by a couple times while I was working in the area and really enjoyed my coffee both times. I got a caramel latte and a white chocolate mocha. Both were rich and delicious! The white chocolate mocha was on the sweeter side so I would probably pick the caramel latte as my favorite between the two. I will say though it's a bit on the pricier side. One special thing about Mighty Mugs is the people working here. They always greet you with big smiles on their faces and it just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside! What an adorable little coffee shop. Originally went needing a simple breakfast and got an everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. It's one of the better west coast bagels this East coaster has had. The woman who owns and runs the little stand is so nice and helpful. She picked flavors for my coffee drinks and they were so good. It was such a lovely experience that I went back the next morning. This time I got a breakfast burrito and muffin with a latte. And this combo is highly recommended. The burrito is small but very filling. I will just say that it is drive through only and if there is a line can get a tad dicey with how cars are lined up. It's fun to see their specialty drink menus & pretty much anything you are hoping for, they can make it for you! Theres also a good variety of alternative milk & flavors. I took a trip to Seattle with my girlfriend back in October. We stayed in the Renton area and drove past this little thing that looked like a hut on the side of a parking lot. There was a line of cars when we were there so I was excited to try their drinks. I got a vanilla latte with oat milk and whip cream. Hands down the best coffee I've had in such a long time! My girlfriend got a mango smoothie and she said it tasted really good with whip cream too. I was so impressed with the drinks that we came two more times before we left. I can't wait to come back here when I'm in town. Pros: the person working the booth was super nice and patient while my girlfriend and I were deciding. They take cash and card as payments which was convenient. Cons: the location is in a lot and there is only room for about 4-5 cars to line up and wait. Not sure why this place is rated so high. The coffee IS good. I'll give it that. I got two 20 ounce winter specials on ice plus a ark dog. The bagel dog was absolutely disgusting. Tasted like rubber. The hot dog tasted like it was 3 years old. Everything about it was gross. The coffee was 5/5 and her service was okay. We went yesterday to try the Girl Scout cookie drinks advertised on Instagram. The barista didn't know how to make the drinks and tried to be strawberry sauce on my Tagalong chai. She also added 5 shots of espresso because the recipe said mocha. To me I did not think it had espresso and chai from reading the description. My partner got a 32 oz thin mint mocha and it tasted like a watered down hot chocolate. Why have specials if your baristas don't know how to make them? The service was slow, the drinks were blah, and it was expensive. We might give another location a try, but don't go here if you want one of their specials. read more

This was my first time here and I've got to say it was pretty good coffee. I ordered a 16oz vanilla latte to be made with oak milk due to lactose intolerance. I was very surprised they had oat milk as not many coffee shops have that option so that was a plus. The latte was perfect not too sweet and perfectly hot and not Burnt. It came out to around $5.00 the average price I would say, the young woman that made my coffee was super friendly and in a great mood considering it was a Monday and I had just previously had 2 deal with people and their road rage... Anyways the entrance is specifically on one side of the street if you want to use the drive thru otherwise if you enter through the wrong one you have to make an awkward u turn but other than that it's totally worth it. ! read more

Went to get my free coffee after getting 10 coffees on the punch card. Girl with black hair was extremely rude when I asked for my free coffee to be the biggest size they have. She told me that I can't get the biggest size when using the free coffee on the punch card she told me I needed to get the size that I normally get when buying a coffee so I proceeded to tell her that I usually get a 24 ounce and after hearing me tell her I get a 24 ounce regularly. she rudely smirked and laughed and handed me a 16 ounce coffee. I wait almost a month to get a free coffee and I expect it to be the normal size that I get because that is what it says on the card. Came to this shop tonight 5 minutes before close. The Barista in the stand treated us like her first customer of the day even tho it was 5 minutes before close. I heard her little kiddos in there and with childcare being so hard these days I offered to buy her kiddos a cookie, she politely declined. I decided to leave her a nice tip instead. Good coffee and great customer service. I've been coming here for nearly 3 years now. The staff in the morning is fun and and just a delight to interact with. She memorized my order right off the bat and when I started using the joe coffee app she would meet me at my truck any time there was a line. Especially in these hard times of COVID good customer service is difficult to find but these gals never let me down. Thank you mighty mugs for being that little pick me up to start my work day. Holly and the crew can make absolutely anything and have all the alternative milks: soy, oat, almond, etc. They also tend to get egg nog a lot sooner than other coffee shops in the fall and there's almost always a line of cars and trucks or folks at the walk up no matter what time I go which is mostly between 7-9 am on weekdays (Saturday usually has more drive ups) to get my 16 oz. The tale of Mighty Mugs is a glorious one, that treads a path littered with the finest coffee you'll find prepared in the finest way by some of the planet's finest people. Until recently my only option to get my daily fix on the way to work was the Kent stand, which is fine and dandy, but now this newer Renton stand is even closer for me! Better yet, they're open on the weekends now too, meaning I can get my favorite coffee any and every day I please. The coffee itself is reason enough for a 5 star review - great beans paired with baristas who know what they're doing. Starbucks, BigFoot, etc. won't compare. The baristas themselves are talented, kind, and wonderful people who want nothing more than to build their little coffee community and brighten people's days one cup at a time. Get to know them - they're awesome. The company's owner is even working alongside her employees all the time at her various stands, always willing to do whatever she needs to for her lovely business. Now that this stand is open 7 days a week, you've no excuse. Check them out!
