Came here thinking there would be good Mexican food due to the name of the establishment. Not real Mexican food for anyone wondering.

COFFEECHATA -- brilliant mix (though I would love a tad more cinnamon and maybe even a dash of nutmeg, to make the drink more full bodied) otherwise, this is an awesome "fast food" drink choice. Really good Mexican fast food chain if you're looking for a quick burrito fix. Not sure about their other menu items, but their burritos are bomb! The Garbage Burrito and the BRC Burrito are my go-to. If you're really hungry, that Garbage Burrito will definitely fill you up; it may not sound appetizing but it's stuffed with meat, rice, beans, lettuce, cheese and all that good stuff AND it's huge! The BRC (beans, rice & cheese) is maybe only half the size of the Garbage Burrito but it's bomb too. I recommend getting that with extra cheese! Miguel's aren't everywhere but a local chain for sure. I have gotten the El potato burrito twice now the first time the potatoes were not cook well enough, very firm and no green sauce. The next time everything was cooked just right and plenty of sauce. Very good. I also tried the pozole, it was ok for a fast food restaurant. Tried different enchiladas. They are decent. The chile relleno is different then most places,but it was good. I like their shredded beef the best so far out of the meat choices. I will go back for the el potato burrito. I did notice they will be raising the prices soon. They gave me a Chile relleno burrito with their new habanero sauce, y'all need to try it for yourself. Got 2 BRCs and a garbage burrito with shredded chicken, no lettuce, and extra green sauce on the side. Only got the BRC and no lettuce right. Took 20 minutes for 5 cars to get through the drive through, only a tiny bit of chicken on one end nothing else that's supposed to be in the garbage burrito besides the beans and rice, and it clearly states on the receipt we wanted green salsa and they gave us 6 red. I'm mildly allergic to the red and said that at the window and didn't see until we got home because I hadn't eaten all day and was feeling sick so I checked when me and my boyfriend got home after I'd had some chips and was able to function. Gonna go to my usual one off Ontario ave instead of the one a few minutes away from home, the extra drive is worth them respecting allergies and not skimping on chicken. There's maybe 1/2 an ounce of chicken in the entire burrito! I'm not expecting street vendor stuffed chicken burrito but to only have a tiny bit of chicken on one end then the rest beans and rice (nothing else included from the garbage burrito. Went through the drive through and got home, found out they missed an item. Called to let them know and they denied making the mistake. I'm clearly short one item but they are apparently much better than everyone else and don't make those mistakes so no need to look into it. On my way to get more food from somewhere else. Not impressed. My family and I have been enjoying several of our local Miguel's Jr for about 14 yrs now. Tonight I took my son out for dinner and this was his 2nd choice. Unfortunately, our 1st was closed for Presidents day. My Original Carne Asada burrito was cold. The tortilla was cold, the meat was cold, the rice was cold... so cold that the shredded cheese in the burrito never melted. The men's bathroom had no soap. When I let the staff know, they made no attempt to fill or replace the soap. I will reevaluate where I spend my money for food. Am at fast food location on Hamner in Norco. I used to look forward to tamale season and was disappointed when it ended. Went in today and was so disappointed. Tamale was bland (without flavor). I used to order several dozen tamales for family gatherings. Not any more. My husband ordered chips with cheese. Half the cheese was unmelted and it was lumped on in one section. This is not the Miguel's we've loved for over 30 years. You need to do better. read more

Usually Miguel's has good food for the price. But they tend to forget the salsa when they package my to go order! It's happened twice in a short amount of time! It might seem like a minor issue but to a Latina eating Mexican food without salsa is very disappointing! read more

Being born and raised in Corona, the Norco Miguel's has been a staple for me. But after the recent Covid events the new staff that currently works at the Hamner location is rude, snobby and very unprofessional. It's your job to serve and serve with a good attitude. Customers who go to Miguel's know and love the food, and all the trimmings. It shouldn't be too much to ask for hot sauce, cilantro, a fork, etc. We could do without the glaring eyes from the young ladies and little to no courtesy from the young men. I'm disappointed and will be taking my money to a different location where management actually keeps their staff accountable and teaches the next generation of employees the basics of customer service. - An unsatisfied Customer. read more

What's going on with the salsa and guacamole??? Salsa is getting runnier by the day!! It's pretty much all water, I can see through it... CRAZY!!! The only thing left to cut corners on cost would be to boil water and throw in a whole jalapeno so it catches some flavor and serve it as salsa. Guacamole is getting just as watery and it's almost see through. If your going to water down food to cut on cost then also cut on the price!!! read more

This location truly do not care about the level of service or food that they put out. On multiple occasions I have placed a take out order through a delivery service with clear instructions on how many sauces we need. Knowing that they will probably ignore that, I've paid for an 8 oz. Sauce on the side. And of course, they not only gave us zero sauces but also did not give us the sauce we paid for. Not to mention, the food was made without care and tasted horribly. The sauce is the only thing that would make their food decently edible. I've been eating at Miguel's since I was in high school, and it is disappointing to see how badly they've gone downhill and the lack of care for the community that made them as big as they are. read more

This Miguel's is my favorite! The food always tastes great and the staff is always polite. I've been coming here for years and they have always been consistent when it comes to the quality of food and service. I would highly recommend this location over others in the surrounding area. read more

Miguel's is a staple for some. Not my favorite though. I typically order the tacos. I don't remember ever trying to burritos.

******* JAVIER****** As a local Corona, business owner of over 40 years myself, I would just like to let you know of your employee, Dante. We frequent many of your locations and drive out of our way because of the loyalty between our families. Almost always a pleasure however something I don't appreciate is when I ask for something at the window, onions or cilantro, to be scolded by Dante, who then ensued an argument, telling me to order them including salsa ahead of time in the future. Huh, funny how Dante NEVER offered and condiments whatsoever, zip, nada. I explained to him, again since we frequent you so often, that, even yesterday we had placed the same order at the very same restaurant in Norco, and we're not given the items. As well two days prior to that at the same restaurant when we placed our order, we asked for everything ahead, tonight our sides, both red and green sauce, onions, cilantro, etc. yet when we got home nothing! Yes we should have checked but that's not the issue here. Doesn't really matter when you ask with Dante at the helm. Like us even if asked for sauce cordially ***he treats condiments like they are his personal property.*** Dante, the price of condiments is priced into the door accordingly. Plus I'd have paid double to avoid how you treated my wife. However as the story goes...... So after waiting over 20 minutes to get four tacos, I don't really appreciate being scolded by young Dante, who clearly has zero experience in customer service. He could not find enough joy in his job at Miguel's to hand my wife (who is as sweet as pecan pie) the accompaniments that we politely asked for, but instead Dante berated her, practically mowing her down with an argument where my wife and I had to just say you know what forget it we know the boys will get a hold of them and let them know how much we appreciate you Dante. We did not want to fist fight for cilantro and it along with sauce should have been offered. Dante both took our order as well trashed us at the window so there's no confusion with our order being handed off to another employee. Be blessed Dante, if you worked for me I'd have fired you on the spot. Attitude is everything and Dante's attitude is more than piss poor, he is aggressive towards women and needs serious aggression management care as a start. There are clearly more issues but this problem reflects badly on Miguel's. Javier you're welcome to contact me here or at church but I feel a talk between local employers would benefit your business and especially your many loyal customers. Young Dante doesn't realize folks have choices where to spend their money and his actions when representing an established well loved local business comes at a personal cost to him when he's fired but the sting to the business owner lasts and effects his/our ability to earn an honest living, raise our children and help support our church community. So Javier, as I am a man of my word, as promised to Dante, I am reaching out to you. I would cordially ask that you and your brother get together with young Dante, and perhaps suggest some classes to manage his anger, attitude and definite temper. He addressed my wife as if she were a high school student, we are both over 50 years old, me over 60. My family has been here since 1903 and in business nearly as long, I truly hope you will take your time with this person who is in no way putting Miguel's Jr's best foot forward. As you well know in Corona word travels fast and I know that Miguel's is built on what your Mom and Dad started, same with my family right here in Corona. Food is alright. Super inconvenient that they have nothing beyond the counter. Even the forks and napkins are behind the counter. The workers are busy and you need to ask for these items. Asked for napkins, was only given 2 napkins for a family of 4, ridiculous. You need to have the basic items outside of the counter, your workers are too busy to be handing these items out individually, and they seem to get irritated when they are asked for these items. read more

This is our go to Miguel's jr but it's hit or miss and tonight definitely a miss. Seemed short staffed and crazy busy in drive thru but they don't listen when taking orders I asked for enchiladas and got tacos living 15 mins away I just said whatever but some of the staff need attitude adjustments or at least better customer service skills read more

Got here at 8:35 pm and the drive through has a cone in the way so nobody can enter. This store closes at 9pm. I walk up to the door the guy working (wouldn't give me his name) (African American) looks at me and says they are closed so I walk to my car there's 5 other people who pulled up wondering why they are closed so we all walk to the drive through window and he says there done cooking food for the night!! We all say why it's not 9pm yet why are you closed already and he mumbles something and shuts the window and walks away and hides! Absolutely ridiculous and rude and unprofessional! Love Miguel's Jr., their rice and beans are like crack and everything else there has amazing flavours. Unfortunately they've lost a lot of stars here for the terrible service in the drive through. The girl working it today at noon was so incredibly rude. I almost couldn't believe it. I honestly don't care if you hate your job or don't want to be there for whatever reason. Call in and say I can't work customer service today because I can't be cordial to our customers. You do not go to work and take it out on your customers! So when I got to the window I said it again and everything was wrong. Then another girl took over and when she handed me my food I asked her if everything was in there because she only gave me one bag, she said yes. I don't think it gets much better than this! The classic bean, rice, and cheese burrito seriously has a place in my heart! I grew up going to the Miguel's on Hamner, but the last two years or so the food hasn't been as good and the customer service has dropped. We drive out to the one Sams Club now, it's been more tasty, more clean, and better employees. I'd definitely recommend basically everything on the menu, I'm not a big fan of their chicken, but I know plenty of people love it. This is a must try for anyone and everyone! read more

Ordered a bean and cheese burrito to go from the counter on my way home. When I opened the bag I was disheartened to see that the burrito that I paid over $3 for was very small. I took out my tape measure and it was 5" long(see attached picture). I'd hate to see what the children's size burrito looks like. Growing up in the Corona area since the 80's I've been going to Miguel's for quite a long time and this trend of the shrinking burrito is not just been noticed by me but, by others in the community as well.
