Lovely coffee shop with asian forward flavors and reasonable prices. I got a hojicha latte and matcha cheesecake muffin and both were great. The hojicha was from powdered tea and the flavour was well balanced, not too sweet. The muffin was a bit crumbly but otherwise the matcha and cheesecake flavours complimented each other and the muffin was well portioned to not make you feel too heavy afterwards. Will definitely return to this cafe if I'm in the area.

Super cute and cozy cafe! There's a QR code at the front which allows you to register your license plate for free parking! Really enjoyed both the matcha oat latte and the ube loaf! Ube loaf was very flavourful and moist :) Love how they emphasize in community gatherings and have different events on different days of the week!

Very cute quiet cafe with a good amount of interior seating, free wifi & 3hr underground parking (use QR code to register). This cafe appeared to be quite busy on a weekend midday. Youd have to keep your eyes peeled for seats with laptop users not intending to leave anytime soon. pastries looked decent and appealing but that was not for us today. i tried the genmaicha latte - the matcha flavour was there, but the texture was quite viscous (think drinkable yogurt, but warm). the drink was lukewarm on first sip, and that broke the deal for me. my friends drink, a jasmine latte, was also served warm. overall slightly disappointing.

After physiotherapy treatment, I was looking for a quiet coffee shop for some studying. It was my second time here. The ambient is great, quiet and spacious. Baristas are friendly and cheerful. I ordered a flat white. Compared to my first time here there is a great improvement. The coffee was less watery and tasted more concentrated.

A beautiful and cozy cafe that is walking distance from Richmond centre mall. I enjoy coming to this cafe during my lunch break. There's a warm atmosphere from the soothing jazz music the wall art and record display. Ive tried their matcha and salted caramel cold brew and still think about how tasty those drinks were. Their pastries are delicious as well, I love their cookies because they are dense. The only thing to be mindful of is that there isn't a lot of seating (due to space) so be aware there's a good chance you'll have to take out your order, especially during busy hours. But if you're lucky to get a seat, it's a great place to spend time alone or with others.

Aesthetic Silly little drinks Pastries Nothing too over the top everything was kept simple and sometimes that's just right! My banana bread was on the moist side in a good way. (Sidenote I think it would've been extra fire if there was a nutty aspect to it perhaps a pecan or walnut option ) The Hojicha was on the milkier side but still nice & once mixed I enjoyed it! Space is a bit small, there's not too much seating which might be an issue if it's busier. On the bright side free parking wooo~

What a super cute cafe in Richmond. i loved the cosy vibes of this cafe. They also serve matcha from Paragon Tea Room which is one of my favouites. I ended up getting a hojicha oat latte instead and was also quite impressed. They had a QR code at the front that said there was free parking for guests but I did not end up using it on my visit this time around. Cannot wait to be back to try more of their drinks and meet up with friends here for a catchup.

Finally got a new cafe in Richmond!! Their interior design looks nice and clean. Try their hijicha latte and cappuccino, taste good in general although there was some rough texture for hojicha latte(I guess it's the tea leaves grinding not fine enough?) It's good to have some cafe place in the area!

It's a nice little coffee shop well lit with natural lighting. For now I enjoyed their genmaicha latte and the barista that served me was super friendly. Still need to try their flat white or latte though.

I discovered this café through social media as part of the newly opened café news. It's located very close to CF Richmond Shopping Centre, just a 1-2 minute walk. So, I decided to visit after finishing my shopping. The café had a very cozy ambiance, and I noticed several different baked goods, such as croissants, cookies, and loaves. I only got a Houjicha latte to go. The latte was very creamy, with a flavor that was well-balanced--not too strong or too weak. I should have ordered it with a little more sweetness, but it was still okay. Next time, I'd like to visit this café to try their baked goods and explore different drink options. Hopefully, I'll be able to get a table since the café was very busy--it's clearly a very popular spot!

Tried out their matcha and hojicha lattes on a sunny spring day. Both were super rich and creamy! Loved how they use stone-milled tea for the freshest, richest flavours! Highly recommend!

Extremely promising cafe in Richmond. Beautiful interior and friendly staff, however not much seating available. My friends and I got matcha lattes and a bagel and another friend got an iced coffee and it was pretty great. Matcha was ceremonial grade and had a nice color to it, personally thought there was a bit too much milk for my liking but I think theres room for improvement. Will return again soon!

I really loved Miion cafe's food and drinks, but I have to give them 3 stars because of the subpar service/workflow. I met up with a friend to catch up, and we made a spontaneous decision to go to Miion instead of the cafe next door, drawn in by the cute interior. However, we started to regret our decision decieved by appearance as we sat in the cafe and witnessed multiple (10+) errors with peoples' orders and transactions. Many times staff would make a drink and call out to ask who ordered it, finding out nobody did. They brought drinks to other tables in to-go cups when the customers had asked to dine in. They also brought a steamed milk to another customer who did not order it and did not realize he was accidentally charged for it. Although they do have the confusion of take out and dine-in customers, there are only 3 small tables in the cafe. I think they need a better system, i.e order numbering system to keep track of who ordered what items. We also observed that the staff kept switching roles from making drinks to working as cashier, so there was not smooth communication and knowledge of orders. My friend and I had ordered a matcha cream cheese muffin to share and two drinks. They had brought the muffin first but we wanted to wait for the drinks to have it together. It reached the 1hr mark of us sitting in the cafe and we still had not received our drinks (it already took 30mins to receive the muffin despite them only needing to remove it from the display case, not reheat). We asked the staff where the drinks were, and they told us that they were still making them. The woman we had asked returned to us 5 minutes later and ask us what we ordered because they had in fact not started making the drinks. She then asked us to go pay for them, when I explained that I already had. After this, we recieved the drinks about 10mins later. I have never seen genmaicha so green before and I initially thought they had mistakenly made a matcha. I was amazed that it tasted so fresh yet had the nuttiness of the roasted rice. The matcha was even more vibrant and smooth, not astringent at all. The matcha cream cheese muffin was cold but moist, and the matcha flavour was actually strong, leaving a nice aftertaste. In many other matcha desserts, they taste too sweet with too little flavour even if it appears green. If their food/drinks weren't so good I think I would've had to give them 2 stars. The seating of the cafe was very limited with about three 2-person sized tables. There wasn't much space to put our jackets or bags either, so we both held everything in our laps. They decorate the space to be very clean and homey so I hope they continue to update the seating/environment to reflect that! I understand that there are often little errors and miscommunications in customer service, but it felt like Miion was just continually making them due to systematic problems. I hope this feedback can allow them to improve, especially in such a high traffic and competitive location. I would love to come back to try more of their drinks, but only if I know I can receive what I ordered without so much confusion.

Now I had nothing against this place personally but after this, it's become personal. They advertise a Hong Kong milk tea which was exactly what I was craving all morning and the best way to wake me up. What I got instead, was a steeped orange pekoe or English breakfast tea with STEAMED MILK. I don't know if you know how Hong Kong milk tea should taste but this was not it. Hong Kong milk tea has a very strong and distinct taste and it is paired with evaporated milk...this was not that. When I drink Hong Kong milk tea I don't want to taste any water content. I want the tea to punch me in the face and wake me up. what I got, was a diluted tap on the shoulder. I have nothing against the tea itself, This was simply false advertising. The owner was fully aware that they d don't offer milk tea and yet they continue to serve whatever this was... Will I ever come back? No. Did I get a Starbucks on the way home because of this place and waste another five dollars? maybe. am I a morning person? definitely not.

The walls are decorated with pictures from Europe and the teacups are very "British." Besides scone and tea, you can get regular food here as well such as fries, salt & pepper chicken, and radish cake to name just a few. You can also get cold drinks like juice & bubble tea, and bubble tea drinks here too. So...not your typical British style Afternoon Tea joint. Kind of half restaurant, half tea place. My friend had a pot of Leisure Fresh Fruit tea and a scone. We'd already had lunch a bit earlier and while my friend had room for a scone, I had zero room in my stomach for any food so I just had a pot of Longan Red Date tea. It was a cold day so a pot of hot tea really hit the spot. I thought it a bit pricy at first, but when the tea came, I saw that the teabags were Fortnum & Mason teabags. That is a very a prestigious company from all the way over in England. When I realized we were drinking Fortnum & Mason tea, all of a sudden $10.25 didn't seem so extravagant any more. My friend said her scone seemed like more of a biscuit than a scone. It came with butter and jam. I think she wished there had been some clotted cream to go with it. I can't say too much about the food as I only had one pot of tea but I was impressed that it was Fortnum & Mason tea, and I very much enjoyed the flavor of the Longan & Red Dates in my tea.
