I took my car in for an estimate Friday morning. The women at the front desk was kind and personable. She told me it would take a few minutes for an estimate and we could go from there. I sat in the waiting room (I was the only customer there) and in the office next to the lobby were 3 employees laughing and have a good old time. I'm pretty patient so I didn't think much of it. Then a different women who worked there went into the office and asked them for a favor. Then they all spent awhile talking about their roles at the company and sharing stories about different customers. At this point I started feeling frustrated, especially since I was missing work to be here. A guy comes out of the office (I didn't get his name) and says he's going to take some pictures of the car. He does that quickly, then I return to the receptionist who says I can wait 45 minutes for the estimate or it will be emailed it to me. I chose email and she said I should receive an email within an hour. By 5:30 that evening I received nothing. I called the shop and was told that it had been a very busy day but I should be getting something emailed soon. Monday morning rolls around and I still have not heard from them. I understand shops getting busy but the communication left something to be desired. read more

I love these guys! We needed to get Jean-Yves van taken care of before we flew out of Oakland so we stopped by yesterday before they closed to arrange the details. Sierra made sure the shuttle would be there early to help us get to the airport and Jean -yves chatted about crystals with the manager. I use Mike's Auto Body when I got into an accident several months ago. They were recommended by my insurance company. They did a great job thou it took longer than expected. I used them again a couple months later when I swiped my front bumper. I was paying out of pocket and therefore got a couple of estimates. The other shop wanted to replace the total bumper at a cost of $400 more than Mike's which would repair the bumper. Not only did they do a great job on the repair; they gave me a discount on the price since I was paying out of pocket. I highly recommend Mike's for auto repairs. read more

I had my car repaired there because the ins. co said to go there. I love G and C in Santa Rosa. So far, after one day, I think its fine, I will have someone go under t the car, to make sure that in fact all parts are factory Honda parts. I can't see them and i am taking their word for it. The irritant was this: I told the front office person I could get a car in SR at the Toyota dealership for $20 a day. She said she could get it for that from Enterprise. In the end, I had to scrutinize the enterprise bill line by line and found it was not only 30$ off, but that I was charged $25 a day, and that was reserved per Mike's with Enterprise! The rental comes out of my pocket. (I asked for an Enterprise reservation, but they had reserved it with Hertz) All of the rental business just took way too much of my work time and energy. Nine days later, the front office person right in front of the staff asks me on a scale of 1 to 10 how would you have a rated us? Really? thats not too awkward. read more

Incredible. They did it again. I was disappointed to learn that the guy I've been dealing with, is no longer working here. Instead, I was helped by Juan. I voiced my concern to Juan, he was patient with me. Listened to me and was able to get my issue taken care of right away. After receiving my vehicle back from this location 3 months ago, I noticed a few issues. 1) I have clear wraps all over my car to protect it from chips. The clear guard wrap on my vehicle was done twice by one of their mobile vendor. The first time was at Mike's Auto body. I took my car back and immediately told them I was not satisfied. So they told the mobile vendor to go to my home to fix it for my convenience. When the mobile vendor came to my home, he told me he only have universal wraps. My car had wraps that were made to fit. So there was nothing he can do to try to replicate the wraps on the other side of my car. The universal wraps made my bmw extremely tacky looking. It was an absolute sore for eyes. 2) I noticed my l/rear door was not aligned with my l/front door. The alignment was so far off, you'd be able to spot it right away if my car pulled next to yours. I physically brought my car back to this location the moment I noticed the bad alignment. Hamed told me that he did not know why my door would look that way. He insisted the door can only go in one way and one way only. He suggested that maybe my door was already misaligned, but I am just now noticing it. I actually let this issue go as I trusted Hameed.my uncle who is a mechanic said there is a way to adjust the door to get them to be aligned. Because I trust my uncle more, I went with the gut feeling of taking my car else where to get it checked out. The other place I brought my car to said they will fix it, no charge. And they did. They opened my l/rear door and immediately noticed to bolts holding my door up were "rounded out". I guess bmw made my bolts with funny looking teeth in them and all the teeth were rounded out. Suggesting whoever worked on my car at Mike's Auto body did know what he was doing, thus used the wrong tool to round out my bolts. I decided not to write a bad review based on those issues because once I discovered them because I was made reassured that everything would be taken care of. 3 months later, still being patient with Mike's Auto body to correct these issues, I never received a call. So one day I decided to call and was notified that hameed is no longer there. But Juan.. Juan came to the rescue immediately. He wasted no time. He took my car to a different vendor to fix the wrap and let me tell you, the new wrap looks good. Except for a minor smudge near the l/front door handle wrap. Which I'll have to take care of later. The bolts were not taken care of. But I was less concerned about that as I don't think that will affect anything. Not only was my min issue correct by Juan in Ann extremely fast timely manner... Someone also filled my gas tank with a full tank of gas!! So thank you, Juan. For taking care of my car and for listening to my concerns. I will most definitely be back and recommend everyone I know to you. read more

I had a fender bender and Mike's Auto Body in Richmond did the repairs. The work was completed on the date promised and my 2009 Equinox looks like new - superb job. What's more, they handled all the insurance work. Bruce Hubert is the Location Manager and not only is he very proficient in what he does, he's also a very nice man and was able to put my worries at ease. The office staff are also exceptionally efficient as well as very customer-friendly. I hope I never have to see a body shop again but if I do I will take my vehicle to Mike's Auto Body. It doesn't get much better than Mike's. read more

Great customer service don't get me wrong but I do I don't understand one thing : my car car got hit one the rear side door that's where the damage was done and I was hoping they could of fixed it but with a lot of confusion between them and my insurance such a hassle ! Next thing I had to pick up my car since obviously they didn't do anything all they did was remove my bumper which by the way my car DID NOT get hit there why you guys remove my bumper trying to charge me 375 to put it back ??? I got it put back under 10 minutes for free! But I do not blame them for that next time any car should be left untouched and actually verified before doing anything to it. My new repair shop, hands down. Gene was very polite and helped me change out the lightbulbs for my headlights. I was running late for work, Gene promptly took my car in and estimated the appropriate time it would be finished. Before I could even ask how much it would be to restore my headlight covers, he fucking does it for me! I'm am definitely coming back to fix all the other shit that is wrong with my car. Our vehicle was vandalized. When I called our insurance company, I told them that I wanted mike rose auto body to make the repairs. Reason being is that Mike rose gives back to the community. Every Christmas, Mike Rose donates a very fine vehicle to someone who desparatley needs transportation. I would personally like to thank mike for giving something back. He has set a great example of how we can all help our society. The repairs on our car were excellent. It looks like a brand new car. To top it off, the car was washed and cleaned up much better than it was when we dropped it off. read more
