The customer service is subpar and nonexistent. Several calls to Syble for my bid are answered with excuses as to why it's not down. Asked Friday for an adjusted bid, call Tuesday wondering where it is, more excuses and promises of the bid in 1 day! Call just now and she went home and won't be back until Monday. We have used Mike's Floorcoverings in 2 of our homes, and I also used Mike's for my mother's home. Wood look tile, patterned tile, carpet, and vinyl plank in various applications. They are very busy, but work hard to please their customers. I always work with Mata, who has been working there for many years. She is friendly, knowledgeable and has a keen eye for color and spends as much time as you need to help you decide. I cannot recommend them more highly. I would have loved working with these people, but after a week and still no estimate for the one floor I needed tiled, I realized, well they are either to busy to fit me in their schedule or maybe they didn't want such a small job!!! I'll never know, they never called me back, then u have to make a appointment every time u go by, I gave up went by Lowe's and after a hour I have guys coming out next week to measure my floor!!! So either they are swamped and won't miss my business or never really wanted my business!! I am thinking I made the best deal probably time wise and $$$ wise!!! I went pay what I owed them today. Let me say this was never about the money, this was about them being dishonest. I don't know if it's the norm or it was a one time thing, the end result is the same. There was a problem and they would not listen to my side and just stuck the there guns. One side understands and even admires them sticking up for there employees, but not even opening there mind to the fact that there employee made a mistake and working with me on the problem they held there ground as if there was no chance I was right. Today I was told ( not in these exact words) the reason they did not follow thru with a face to face meeting with the sales woman in question involved is because I took to social media and gave bad reviews. Seems they would have been willing to reward me for my silence, who knows what they would have given me for a good review. I was Long and short of all of this is " DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE. IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE THIS COMPANY MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING IN WRITING" PS. A lady that I had no dealings with till today said I must have a cold heart because of my social media post or reviews because that job is how they pay there bills and feed there families ( again maybe not exact words). After not installing the closet door,they didn't leave the hardware so I could do it myself. If that wasn't bad enough then I got the final bill and it was much higher than the price given and approved, spoke to the owner and he was unwilling to listen to me. The sales woman was out of town and lied to try and cover her mistake. Being that Marble Falls is a small town I don't know how they in business, I will never use them again and buyer be ware. Still trying to work with this business and it just keeps getting worse. Now I have serious doubts I got what they say I got and want me to pay After the owner told me he wanted a meeting with the sales person and myself today I get a letter demanding payment. very unhappy with the work they did regrouting my floors. Thier sales person came out after they completed the work and agreed that the job was completed poorly and they would send the crew out again to re-grout the floor. After I inspected the work, I told them it was better but there were still several areas that were very sloppy. I asked for a second meeting at my home with the owner and the sales person stated the owner would call me and he never did. I called a second time and sent a letter and the owner never responded and never agreed to come out to look at the work his employees did. They just took my money and refused to fix thier issues and ignored my request to at least come look at the problems and never responded to my letter. Mike's Floorcovering installed my new tile and carpet floors. The floors look nice but yo say I was disappointed with the service would be a huge understatement. This is our weekend home and the sales woman knew we only came in on weekends. On the last day that they were working she knew I would not be arriving until after 6pm on Friday. We showed up to our house with both toilets disconnected. One in the shower and one outside under the carport. Had I'd known that it was not their policy to reinstall the toilets after they'd removed them, I would have made arrangements to have a plumber come on that Friday afternoon. Instead, I was not advised of this policy so showing up for a girls weekend with no toilets was very bad. The sales gave me the name of a 24 hour plumber which we now had to pay after hour rates for. Upon entering the house we discovered that not only the toilets were not reinstalled, none of the doors had been rehung, there was grout splattered on all the baseboards and one HUGE gash cut into one of the baseboards. The sales woman insisted that her guys did not leave my house this way. HA. Well who did. Needless to say, they never made good or came back to clean it fix anything. I contracted with Mike's Floorcoverings to replace carpeting, replace several broken tile and install a 15 x15 section of hardwood flooring in a home that we were preparing to sell in Marble Falls, TX. We had already moved all of our furniture/belongings from the home and Mike's gave a 2 week time frame for the job. Sounded Great, paid them 1/2 and thought we were going to have the house ready to be on MLS by end of July. July finishes up and not started, August rolls past and they have the carpet in and the floor torn up but no hardwood down. Oh, but they sent me a bill first week of August for the completed job. By this time, I had no options other than to hound them relentlessly by telephone. September is here and communication is that the job is completed. I had had every excuse in the book from Mike's Floorcoverings by this time. These excuses included: people on vacation, family emergencies, crews that quit on them and ( I loved this one ) could not open/operate the lock on our front gate. For obvious reasons, I felt compelled to drive down and verify the work. It was done is the most positive thing I can say. There was glue bubbles coming up between floorboards in several spots and glue overspray mixed with thick dust three feet wide on the tile. Thick dust on every surface throughout the house. The workers did not bother to close the doors to the hallways/ bedrooms and allowed tile work dust everywhere. Also used our bathtubs and sinks to wash out tools. What a mess. If you have time to sit on these folks to get the job done and supervise the crews, you might be ok to use Mike's Floorcoverings. Otherwise, stay away. read more

Everyone deserves to have the tile/floor work they paid this company for. Terrible, terrible company. They did all of the bathroom shower and bathtub tile work in my new custom home. (Dan Burdett or Burdett Homes/Hill Country Homes is the terrible builder who uses them for every job because they are cheap). All of the bullnose tile on the bathtub wall extends past the adjoining tile. The shower floors and walls were not sealed properly and they now smell moldy. Additionally, both shower floors do not drain properly - water literally runs into the bathroom from the shower. The owner, Renee, said he refuses to fix any of the work because he has already spent enough money. Spent enough money? Where????? He has only earned money. Renee was completely dishonest with us the entire time and our bathrooms shows his complete like of tile install skills. Stay far away from this guy.....and his friend Dan Burdett. read more

In building my custom home, the sales staff at Mike's went over and beyond in helping me to select the right tiles for my kitchen,kids bathrooms, master bathroom, and laundry room. The installation team they sent was good. There were a couple of issues at the time of installation that were to be expected and they resolved them with no problems. Grout work looks great in all spaces. After using them for my tile, we decided to use Mike's for our hardwood flooring - wood and installation - and carpet. While the specific person that installed our floor took some time to complete the install, the flooring was laid impeccably. I'm still working with Mike's to purchase shades and window treatments for the house. The personal service throughout my project has ensured I will return to Mike's in the future and recommend them to friends building or remodeling. read more
