I stopped in for the first time a few days ago, I was very impressed with the energy of the place, wait staff was awesome! My favorite dish is cheese steak, I ordered it. Fantastic food! I took my pickiest friend here, and she loved it. I had an impossible burger, and it might have been one of the best versions I had, the bun was delicious and the toppings were on point. I also had the fried cheesecake and I've been thinking about it for weeks now, definitely would recommend that. This place is in a great location with tons of parking and also has a lot of good stores nearby including a Verizon just one door down. It's very roomy inside and was not too busy on a Thursday afternoon, but it was rather chilly inside even though they had a fireplace and all the windows and doors were closed inside. The staff was rather interesting almost switching off who served us, must of been due to how slow they were, but overall they provided rather good service just a little slow at doing the drink refills, not trying to tell someone how to do there job if you see someone with a empty glass/beer offer them another one it helps raise the bill and increase your tip, but just saying. Forgot to mention i never got my mayo on the side and never got to order my last drink. The food was ok 3 stars the clam chowder was pretty good but tasted a little too cheesy. My steak sandwich was a little to pink for medium rare but it went down ok. The salad kinda needed more to it was rather basic and had no flavor, regret not just getting more chowder. The pork roast had a bit too much sauce but overall was enjoyable the mashed potatoes are rather cheaply made and didn't do the trick and the green beans were most likely not fresh. Beer selection is rather slim only good thing on tap is Blue Moon, they kindly serve it with a sliced orange wedge. I'm pretty picky when it comes to food and i would have to say i would return here, but knowing that it's just ok it's nothing that will amaze me but it's a decently affordable bite to eat with a rather wide menu selection, if i don't want the same old Bj's brewhouse in Modesto but I'm trying to stick to same kind of food i will probably go here, just due to the fact you can some chowder with a sandwich. read more

I'm SUUUPER picky (surprise surprise), as some are way too fishy for me. Well my friends, I had Mikes crab cakes. I ate ALL of Mikes crab cakes. I have found myself thinking about Mikes crab cakes. They are THAT good! Omg...drooling right now! My only complaint is that Mikes is sooooo pricey. 3 crab cakes for $17. Burgers are an average $12-15. But if you've got money to spare,(not me!), try them....and those freakin crab cakes!! read more

I ordered the special of the day, ham and cheese sandwich- the arugula, mustard and pickles were the perfect combo for this sandwich. Well, we had stopped coming here for 6 months to a year because I ALWAYS need a lot of salad dressing on my salads. We always ask for extra dressings on the side for my salad. And this salad I get (the southern steak salad) is very big. They should give 2 dressings with the salad anyway. We asked for 2 extra (4) and that would be just enough. Well, we got home and there were only 2 total dressings which is not near enough dressing for this salad! This is a very expensive salad, TBH. So I guess we will have to stop going back again. So sad, because in the past I have really enjoyed this meal. read more

Went there for the first time today. Very good. I had the day's special, which was a Black and Blue Burger with fries, as well as a cup of clam chowder. It all cost about $22 before the tip. The burger had blue cheese, bacon, grilled onions and an aoli sauce. The fries were crispy and the chowder was good and thick. The people that worked there were very nice and my server, Taylor, was terrific. She served the food right away, and it was nice and hot. Hope to get a chance to come back soon.
