After reading all of the great reviews, we were really looking forward to eating here. I tried to order a tri tip sandwich and they were out of tri tip. I then ordered ribs and a side salad. At the salad bar they were out of lettuce and there girl behind me said they were out of Italian dressing. I also got the last fork and the worker said it would be ten minutes before the forks were cleaned and brought out. I then went to get drinks and they were out of ice tea. First time in Angels Camp and we Decided to try this place out. Ingredients are fresh! Dough was really good and salad bar was also pretty good. Sweet potato fries tasted baked which is healthier than a deep fry. They ran out of smoked ribs so I got the fish instead and they tossed in some cinnamon goooey desert. Just visited Mike's Pizza in Angel's Camp. Service was very good and the pizza I had was really really good. Loaded with toppings, done just right, where the crust is not soft but not overdone. We just got back from dinner at Mike's! Impressed with the quality of the pizza. We had a combination medium pizza and 3 small salads. The pizza was so filling that we were able take the leftovers home. It was amazing dinner and only cost $13 a person! Next time when I'm in town I will definitely have pizza at Mike's! read more

Excellent pizza and a nice environment. But Be Careful. The stands that support the pizzas are too small. If you don't carefully remove each slice of pizza in a balanced fashion from the pan, it is easy for your entire dinner to end up on the floor or in your lap on fire. Our dinner hit the floor and I was splattered in the face with hot tomato sauce. The staff only grudgingly replaced our large pizza with a small. We all left hungry. Quite possibly the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. I drive for save mart supermarkets and needed to take my lunch after my delivery. They put a rush on my order for me and I got my food 7 minutes later. I forgot to take a photo but the sandwich huge and flavorful. The staff member who took my order was awesome as well. Stayed at Wyndham so we got delivery. Ordered 2 pizzas, one without cheese. Both delivered w/cheese. They corrected mistake and delivered another. Pizza was amazing. I'm picky about pizza too. They get 5 stars even w/ mistake because they fixed it without question and were remarkably apologetic. Be for warned... not cheap pizza but it was excellent.
