Questionable- When I picked the truck up at Mike's I noticed a clicking noise soon after starting the engine. I went back into the office but it went away before Mike and I got back out to the truck. I have noticed that same new noise once more since I got the truck home. If it persists I plan to take it back in.

I made an appointment to bring my vehicle in for an oil leak, headlight and brake light replacement. My appointment was for Monday August 31. On Wednesday September 2 I had still heard nothing about my vehicle I called and was told, can you believe they were just about to bring in in the shop bay to inspect it had now been two day of getting the Sunshine Treatment. I get a text message with a link to inspection report. I text back asking for a quote which I received and I gave an OK to estimate and asked for completion date which I was told was Wednesday September 9. When I questioned I was told I did not understand how complex the repair. I told them to proceed. On Friday September 4 I stopped by unannounced and found my vehicle still sitting in the same spot as when dropped off and untouched. I was very upset and was told I had never approved the repairs. When I showed them the text message it again was not their fault it was miscommunication. I should have known at this point five days later and still nothing done that this was not a professional repair shop and they were as their name said Sandalwood Car Careless. I was told my vehicle would be ready on Wednesday September 9. Want to take a guess if ready, well the answer is NO and it had not been touched. Then on Thursday September I get a call from the owner tell me my vehicle still not ready and they cannot complete all the repairs as they do not have the knowledge nor capabilities to do that type of repair. This is where it was somewhat my fault as all the pervious issue were telling me they do not have the knowledge and skills to do the repairs. This though they should have admitted to start. Well then on Friday September 11 I called Sandalwood Car Careless to see if vehicle finished at 10:00am and was told NO, when I got upset as now we going on two weeks I was told I not respect them. Well I was always told you had to earn respect to get respect and at this time I had caught them in over four lies. I finally was able to pick up my vehicle on Friday September 11 at 4:00pm. Now the cherry on top, they gave me the wrong bill for person and vehicle that was not me. They did not even know my name or vehicle. This is the most unprofessional business I have ever seem. Do not worry about getting everything in writing as they just say it is miscommunication between them and you. Nothing is ever their fault it will be yours. On a positive I was not charged for the eight days of Sunshine Treatment nor 8 days of lot storage. I really though question the quality of work and service done to my vehicle due to the lack of professional service, lack of any customer service and the capability to preform all the work requested. This is definitely a place to adhere to the "Buyer Beware" The only think good I can say about Sandalwood Car Careless is GOOD BYE.

They diagnosed what was wrong and gave a fair estimate -- most importantly, they said it would be done today so he and his GF to continue on to Orlando. They completed the service, found they didn't need another part which was calculated in the estimate (a $250 savings), replaced the battery in his key fob, etc. He appreciated talking to the owners and their waiting room as well. I was told over 1,600. when I was searching on line (replacing front bushings,) it said: JJ auto service charges $500 to $700. I took my car to another mechanic that had very good reputation. He looked under my car and said: there is nothing wrong with your front Bushing. I did not trust JJ auto service, I checked if my liquids were toped off, there was hardly any antifreeze, I went and got a gallon and filled it myself. I asked the mechanic to please change my oil, I do not trust what they put in my car, the filter that came out was very dirty and black! They lost my business, there is no way in two weeks the filter would have been that dirty!

This was not happening for me, so I knew it was the fuel pump. After two hours the two truck came to my rescue in the cold and darkness. I brought the car to my home. Then on Monday, I called John's and asked if they could fix my car. I had several friends recommend them. I am so happy that I went there. They have a new customer for life! Pros: Very fair prices on parts and R&R. Nice and trustworthy Owners and Mechanics. Cons:very limited parking space. I let them know when the tow truck was in the way. They made sure he had a good spot to park my car. Recommend? Hell Yes!!!

I took my car to Tubel's because it was steaming due to antifreeze hitting the motor. My car was…read morenot running hot, and it has never overheated before. I was charged almost $400 and told the issue was fixed. About 10 miles after leaving, my car started running hot. I immediately called the shop and was told, "That's strange, it didn't run hot when you brought it in." I had the car towed back. Three days later, I was told the car was ready. When I arrived to pick it up, the car would not start, which has never been an issue before. Again, I was told, "That's strange, it started when I drove it this morning." While driving the car home--less than 10 minutes from the shop--the vehicle began producing heavy white smoke, which I later learned indicates a blown head gasket. My car was returned to me in much worse condition than when I brought it in. I'm not sure what was done to my vehicle, but based on my experience, I strongly recommend doing your homework and getting a second opinion before taking your car here.
