I was driving from Ohio to Orlando Florida this past week. As I was driving my 2012 Sienna van through Jacksonville, I noticed my check engine and Trans off buttons on solid on my dash. My daughter called a couple Toyota dealerships but of course they couldn't look at my car for 2 days. She found Mike's Towing and Repair Shop online and called. The sweet lady there told her to bring it in and they could do a diagnostic check to see what the problem was for a charge of $75. I drove it there and was a little sceptical at first. After all it was located beside a water ditch behind a small shopping center. I couldn't have been more wrong about my assessment. They were the nicest people. They told us to get a bite to eat which we did at the Thai restaurant in the shopping center. It was delicious food. After about an hour or so, Mike told me about what was wrong and we okayed him to fix it. After about another hour or 2 they called and said it was ready. The oil control valve (Exhaust Side Bank 2) was replaced. The cost of the part that he had to drive to Toyota to get cost $182.16. After all costs were totaled with tax and everything I paid them $340.74. They didn't even charge me the $75 diagnostic charge. They were a very friendly and amazing shop to work with. I know if I had gotten a Toyota dealership to look at my car it would have been at least 3 or 4 times as much. I am a widowed grandmother just taking my daughter and 3 grandchildren to Disney World. I would highly reccommend Mike's Towing and Repair Shop to anyone who is traveling through or living in that area. read more

My relocation to Jacksonville was bittersweet because I was happy to finally be in sunny Florida, but at the same time, I had to leave behind my faithful car mechanic. All I can say is, Mike's towing is the best in the state of Florida. All the employees I talked with were the friendliness, professional, and understanding. Mike and his crew made you feel like we were old friends. Eddie the mechanic couldn't have been better, I had no clue what was going on with my Jeep. I could not get into gear. I thought I was in for an expensive repair, but Eddie was so honest. All the problem was low fluid for the clutch system. By being honest he saved me hundreds of dollars. Mike's Towing pickEd us up after being stranded on I-10 recently for 7 hours. Our insurance company was useless getting us help and Mike's Towing and driver Brian came to our rescue They took us to a motel and repaired our vehicle over the weekend They even drove us to a car rental agency for a loaner and helped us transfer our luggage from our van to the rental vehicle. Mr. Willie himself came & picked up my broke down SRX at Regency. It did not take him long at all. He was very concerned on how he would get the car down off the flat bed unlike other tow's I had before. He was also concerned about my safety in/out his truck. I have used them before & would highly recommend them. Even when I had to call them again a week later the other tow driver was awesome as well. Great towing company. My insurance company contacted Mike's after my vehicle was stranded in a Publix parking lot. 'Big' Chris was professional, empathetic, and helpful. He not only towed my vehicle, but went above and beyond by briefly checking my alternator and battery. He also was willing to casually discuss what might have gone wrong with my vehicle. Took my 2009 chevy colbalt to Mikes garage for radiator fan and air conditioner not working. They were so professional and nice to work with and had my car done in no time. I figured it would take a few days, but I was able to drop it off before they closed sat. and he had it all done Monday and ready for pickup. Fast and good service.
