He told me confidently that it couldn't be done because the lobster and crab were already premixed I asked if he could possibly ask someone and he said no. I was quite disappointed because I really wanted to try their roll. Although I suspected there might be another way, I didn't want to make an issue of it, so I simply accepted his answer with reluctance. A few moments later, as I was walking to the restroom, I happened to meet Brittany Padillas, GM for Bristol, She warmly asked how everything was, and I told her our meal had been wonderful except that I wasn't able to order the Lobster and Crab Roll because of my crab allergy. I explained what our server Ryan had stated. Without hesitation, she responded, "We absolutely could have accommodated you." As someone who has spent more than four decades in the culinary industry, and a professional food critic I can confidently say that Brittany Padillas is one of the finest General Managers I've ever encountered. I mean, I was in my twenties so I didn't know liquor stores could be nice and have variety, but now I do, and boy was I glad when I walked in the doors and found out that this newly redone Plaza Liquor is NICE. Not only is the interior nice, the folks working are super friendly, and they have an incredible selection. I found some craft beers from STL that my husband hadn't been able to find in a long time at liquor stores closer to our house, and they of course carried a good variety of wine and liquor as well.
