I wanted som ramen, well I thought. Anyway I always want Asian food especially sushi and ramen. Came on good old faithful Yelp and this popped up and said the best in Tampa. They did not lie!!!! I will be driving from Riverview whenever I need a fix. I had the salmon taco, yum yum roll and the shrimp udon. First off the taco had a crunchie shell which I love. But it also had that Asian thang going on with the raw salmon, cucumber and rice...delicious. I dipped it in a nice wasabi/low sodium soy sauce and I wanted to slap yo mama! The yum yum roll is really flavorful. Trust me if you like shrimp you will love this roll. The flavors were bursting in my mouth and for the finale....the shrimp udon. Honestly I felt like I was eating a Japanese spaghetti with a creamy flavorful sauce. Omg it was so amazing. It had kimchi in it which gave it a slight tart flavor. So think salty and tart with a little sweet. Magical! The service wasn't bad either....ambiance 10! I give this place a 10...

First time visit to Miku Ramen on a Sunday afternoon. Charming location with a nice vibe and decor on the interior. Staff was super helpful in explaining the menu and very attentive throughout. I had the Mega Pork Ramen and it hit the spot. The broth had a great body that you want with a rich ramen and the the pork pieces and other vegetables and noodles just added to it. The gyoza were ok I had fairly typical nothing outstanding but did come out crispy which i appreciate

My daughter & I were in the mood for Ramen & Hibachi so we decided to come check this place out since it's right around the corner from our house. Atmosphere of the restaurant is really cozy & serene, which would make for a great date night. The waiter was really nice & the service was really quick, only down side was I had to ask him to repeat himself a few times because he spoke so softly I could barely hear him. We started off with some Gyoza which were amazing, slightly crispy but still tender & flavorful! My daughter got the beef & shrimp Hibachi, while I got the black garlic Ramen. She really enjoyed the hibachi, she said the shrimp were cooked perfectly, the rice was fluffy & tasty, & the vegetables were done al dente & not overcooked & soggy. She did say the beef was cooked a bit longer than she prefers but she still ate it all. I loved the black garlic ramen, the pork was tender, the noodles were the perfect consistency, the broth was creamy & flavorful, & the soft boiled egg was perfect! This is definitely going to be one of our regular stops from now on!

We were looking for a soup and noodles place near by our hotel so we searched on Yelp and this place appeared. I wasn't sure how authentic it would be but, we entered the restaurant it transported to what felt like a Las Vegas restaurant... AMBIANCE: 10/10 Very modern with dark light setting and ambiance. I really enjoyed the vibe and in Florida we have ran into a lot of nice people... I would recommend coming here if you're in the mood for some simple ramen, udon and apps... KEEP IT UP MIKU RAMEN!!!!!

We were in the mood for ramen and Miku was a perfect choice. Dimitry was our server and he was pretty awesome and took great care of us. My husband's go to is Tonkotsu. He likes that it's a bit creamy for him. My choice was Black Garlic. The black garlic is so good and the flavor just cuts through. Both had pork broth and pork in it as well as the ramen fixings and our fave marinated egg which is like the cherry on top in a ramen. Super tasty ramen here. Really like the inside of the restaurant. And the bathrooms were very clean too. Will definitely come back to Miku Ramen. It was a winner through and through!

Found this place through yelp and I really enjoyed my experience! The inside is decorated very nicely. Small and intimate. The menu was straightforward with ramen, udon and appetizers. Tonkatsu Ramen: 5/5 Pork chashu with shredded pork in pork broth. Yum! Takoyaki: 5/5 Large, warm and just the right amount of octopus! Our server was kind, always refilling our waters and making sure we were well taken care of. I'll definitely be returning!

The ambiance is nice. Very comfortable and casual. We started with the gyoza which was good, not the most memorable. All the drinks are served in glass or ceramic cups which I appreciate. I ordered the grilled beef ramen. Id give it a 6/10. The broth is flavorful, however i had soooooooo many noodles. The grilled beef had good flavor but was a little bit chewy. I would have liked more vegetables in the ramen but overall id come back for the korean style beef ramen. That broth was very good but since i didn't order it myself im unable to speak on the noodles to veggie ratio. The service was fine, they were pretty busy for a Thursday dining in and for take out so i know they are a local favorite. Im going to come back for the sushi soon.

I really wanted to like Miku Ramen because it has all the makings of a great ramen spot: cute interior, small menu, kind service; the one thing it was missing for me during my visit, though, was good ramen. I started with the Lava Poppers, which were pretty good and a nice way to kick off a meal, but unfortunately as soon as my waitress brought my bowl over I knew something was wrong. From 5 feet away I could smell a strong, gamey, harsh pork smell that either indicated the meat used for the ramen (both the broth and sliced pork) had gone bad or was affected by boar taint. I really tried to push past the smell and enjoy what was visually a gorgeous bowl of ramen, but the smell and taste were very strong I had to just stop after a few bites. It's completely on me for not saying something to my server, but I'd had a very long and hard day and just didn't have it in me to complain, so I just asked for the rest to go, paid, and tossed it at home. The number of positive reviews for Miku Ramen leads me to believe this was just an off day for them, but honestly that was such a rough experience from both a taste and smell aspect (not the Lava Poppers, though!) that I cannot bring myself to give it one more shot. To the owners - please inquire with your meat distributor about their production methods!

M R has a bygo until the end of June so No 1 Fla. cousin, and kids decided to give it a try. For appetizers the four of us ordered lava poppers, and chicken wings with black garlic sauce, the lava poppers were very good, and the wings were nice, and crispy but needed some additional salt, and more sauce that, would have kicked them up a notch. No 1 cuz, and I both ordered the black garlic ramen, and the two kids ordered a spicy curry ramen, and a Tonkotsu ramen with shrimp instead of pork. Everyone was very happy with their ramen, bowls, I found the pork broth very rich, and complex with the umami flavor that you get from a well made ramen broth, noodles, and the rest of the bowl were on point, and satisfying. Cuz wondered if there is only two pieces of Chashu pork because she was looking for more... The restaurant is a nicely appointed with just enough light to give it an intimate atmosphere....

My kids love ramen and soupy noodle dishes. Back at home we try to find the best ramen around. This place popped up on yelp and since we are traveling we decided to see if it was worth it. It was! My kids loved all their bowls and slurped all their soup up. Appetizer: Takoyaki $8.95 (4/5) You get 6 of them. It was perfectly cooked, not mushy in the middle and came out Kids Ramen $7.95 (4/5) Must be under 12 and you can choose your choice of beef, chicken, or pork. My son wanted beef but I would not get beef, it was super chewy and big strips, and my husband ended up eating it since it was hard to chew so make sure you chose your protein wisely. The pros is this bowl is quite large and comes with a lot so $7.95 is a really good deal. I think it's the same size bowl but it's just chicken broth so... Tonkatsu Ramen $14.95 (4/5) The soup was rich pork taste and came with 2 thin slices of pork chased, seaweed, a really nicely seasoned half boiled egg, bamboo, kikurage, and scallion. The noodles were soft and had a slight chew. Broth wasn't too salty which is good. Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen $15.95 (4/5) This comes with the same as above but spicier. I don't normally eat too much spice but this one hit the sweet spot. Not too spicy where I'm dying and sweating in my bowl while eating but got a good enough kick to satisfy that spice crave. So IMO spice level is low. Adults got some hot sake and the kids got lychee and melon ramune to wash down all the yumminess. We came for dinner, and it looks like they have other lunch specials as well as sushi rolls and hibachi. The service was great and the bowls were was really delicious! We would come back again next time we're in town.

We have been trying to find a good Ramen place forever and this restaurant is definitely number one! The inside has great ambience and is perfect for an intimate dinner. Definitely has a cute vibe. We came at 7 PM on a Saturday and luckily there was one table for two available otherwise the place was packed. We started off with the lava poppers and ginger salad. Both were super good, the ginger salad was definitely delicious. They have a ton of other appetizers on the menu that we wanna try. We had the black garlic Ramen, which had so much flavor and the noodles were perfect. And then we had another type of Ramen that I'm forgetting, but it was one of the specials and it was also super good and was just the perfect amount of spicy. They also had a two for one Ramen special going on during the month of June, but even then I feel like for what we got the place was recently priced We can't wait to make this our regular Ramen joint!

Like so many other reviewers, I really, really wanted to love this place. Presentation is great, atmosphere is nice and the service is friendly. My daughter wanted a plain chicken ramen, I'm pretty sure she got a pork Ramen bowl. She ended up having an upset stomach the entire night. My Black Garlic Udon was tasty, however, the broth was super salty and did not have much depth of flavor. My boyfriend got the black garlic Ramen and it was just OK. For $18 a bowl you kind of expect more depth of flavor. Also, when I checked out, I clicked 15% tip and it ended up charging more than $15 tip on a $60 meal! $75+ for three mediocre bowls of Ramen is pretty shocking!

Got invited to go here by a friend, and so glad I went. The selection of ramen is great and the broth was delicious. We tried the trio of ramen bowl. All the broths were delicious, especially the miso and black garlic. I also tried the sushi taco and steamed buns. So good! I can eat those all day! Service was friendly and efficient. Cute atmosphere.

The food came out surprisingly fast for a larger group, and everything was fresh and really well done. The gyoza was outstanding -- honestly gave me flashbacks to Tokyo in the best possible way. If you've ever wandered around Japan hunting for late-night comfort food, you know exactly what I mean. The ramen was good, but definitely a little more "American remix" than traditional Tokyo or Okinawa style. A few extra toppings felt that were add because some one "didn't get enough for the cost". Also, the spicy ramen wasn't not spicy at all -- but still flavorful and enjoyable. The restaurant itself was spotless, and the decor was incredible. Great atmosphere without trying too hard. Overall, a really great experience, and we'll definitely be back.

I was on the fence given my bad experience with restaurants that try to get fancy with its sushi, but this definitely surpassed my expectations. The environment has a nice small-town exterior (fitting for a restaurant in Downtown Dunedin) with a vibrant, cool, cozy interior with minimal lighting that's easy on the eyes. The service is pretty good and they do check to make sure you're enjoying what you ordered, which is a nice touch. In terms of mocktails, on the first day I had the Ginger passion tea which had nice presentation and was just the thing needed to wash down the fantastic spice of, which I sadly forgot to take a picture of, but alas...Next time...The second day I had the "Cucumber Chiller" which, I'll admit, didn't tickle my fancy too much as I'm not one for zest, but it's still a solid #2 on my list! I tried their Spicy Tuna Roll on both days, and much to my pleasant shock...They mean it when they said spicy. Much of their sushi menu appears to be a fusion of Mexican spicing and Japanese uramaki sushi techniques, which I never expected to enjoy so much! I definitely wish to experiment with more of their rolls next time. I also decided to try the pork fried rice, and my goodness, whatever pig they cut up for that rice may not have been able to fly but I sure felt like I was on cloud nine! The rice was crispy, soft, crunchy, flavorful and subtle all at the same time and when it needed to be. Mind you, the lunch portion alone filled me up almost! Just imagine what the dinner would do! Actually, don't imagine that. Just know you'll be good for the rest of the day! Then for desert I decided to try a slice of their Green Tea Cheesecake...Now, interestingly enough, I almost thought it was pumpkin due to the strange flavor contrast between the green tea base and the caramel drizzled. Not what I was expecting but it was still really delicious and I would eat it again in a heartbeat. You don't gotta be a Scorpio like me to be drawn to Pisces Sushi & Global Bistro, that's for sure! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Dunedin...I guarantee you'll be Du"needing" more of this after one bite!
