Went for the buffet. Arrived around 1:20, the pans were empty. Gentleman came up to the buffet cart and said they were bringing out more food. All that was put out was fried rice. Had to ask when the rest were to be filled and they said what do you want we will make it. I went there to be able to choose from different things not to order one thing only. Will think twice before returning. Employees did not seem to understand what I was trying to tell them. Asked for a refill on my water and had to ask them to bring it to me. OMG AWFUL!! We waited 45 MINUTES for our drinks...all we had for 45 minutes was a glass of water!!! They were not even on a wait and their restaurant wasn't filled!! I had planned a dinner with 6 of my friends, and they lead us to this "private" back room that was just white walls and FREEZING, no heat. After waiting almost an hour to get ONE cocktail, our food all came out at different times. My husband ordered sweet and sour chicken and it looked like McDonald's chicken nuggets. To top things off, we had a $5 off of $50 coupon (and the fine print said dine in only), and they WOULDN'T GIVE IT TO US!! Our bill was almost $60 for the two of us, waste of money! There was no manager to be found to voice our poor service issue....we will NOT ever be wasting our time here again, and will be telling everyone to STAY AWAY!!!! read more

The server owner was rude, the food was full of fat and reheated many times over and was old,the service was slow(they didn't even come to refill the water cups)and to complete the meal they added a tip to the bill to complete the unsatisfactory service and food,and refused to accept a valid coupon in the clipper magazine. We love both the Thai and the Chinese food here. Great atmosphere and friendly staff except for one bitchy waitress (you'll know who she is if you get her). Can't say anything about the sushi here since we don't eat that stuff. As far as everything else on the menu, this is a solid 5 stars. Best Asian fusion in the area. read more

This place has hands down the best sushi around. The Reading Eagle best sushi and best Chinese food awards are hung prominently and are well deserved. There is a nice relaxing atmosphere and the owner is extremely friendly always has a smile on his face. Would highly recommend. read more

Horrible buffet! Second time and last! Hardly any food on a Friday at 1:00 pm had to ask for crab Rangoon which is supposed to be on the buffet. Workers came out and ate the little food that was left and they never refilled. Sucks! Never again!!!! read more

Ordered an item on the menu for delivery (used delivery dudes third party delivery service) and they substituted 3 mussels for crab meat and scallops without any notification. Will never order from here again after that kind of deception. It even said on the receipt from Mikura it was supposed to have Lobster, shrimp, crab, and scallops but only contained half of the tiniest lobster tail you will ever see along with two shrimp and the previously mentioned mussels. We have followed "Jack" from Exeter 10+years ago to his new digs in Wyo. He has remembered our names ( and children) from then until present. We aren't weekly patrons, but his hospitality/congeniality is refreshing, not many restaurants, esp of this size will offer this level of personal service. The food is as refreshing as the hospitality. Thai/Chinese/Japanese all the best in Berk's county hands down. Hibachi and full alcohol bar just makes it better yet. read more

Loved the Thai spring roll and the atmosphere was authentic. The sushi was ok, but not as good as Tokyo.

We live in the area and visit mostly for the LUNCH BUFFET during the week. It's an inexpensive outing and the food is generally very good. Sometimes I meet my husband there for lunch & other times it's with the kids - 4 of us. The lunch buffet has a really good variety and the food tastes fresh - great veggies and a favorite is the coconut chicken or shrimp. BUT we have 3 complaints. Customers have to constantly ask for them to RESTOCK THE FOOD in the buffet. It seems like no matter what time we arrive the buffet isn't fully stocked. And it's not as if the place is packed with customers. A server will ask what we specifically want...and we and most customers I've over heard say.... all of it. Isn't that the point of a buffet??? To have a selection.....Sheesh! We've been going there for at least a year and they don't seem to get it OR they just think this is ok to do. I understand that they don't want to waste by cooking too much but the buffet should be fully stock especially for the early side of the lunch hour. I can't count how many "to go" customers we've seen come in wanting to pack up a container and they end up needing to wait, and wait, and wait. It's ridiculous. Many end up walking out. The second complaint is how unbelievably RUDE they can be. The wait staff in particular is rude, rude, rude....abrupt, sullen looks, act like you're a PITA. The manager is pretty friendly but there are a few female servers that need a lesson in good manners. I've actually had one try to remove the plate of food from in front of me while I was eating! The last and final straw for us though was when they started this new (because it never happened before) "policy" they have to add an AUTOMATIC SERVICE TAX to a PARTY OF 4....not 6 or 8.....but 4! Are you kidding me!?! I've never seen that anywhere....not for just 4 people. AND this so called "policy" is not stated on any of their printed material - not on the menu, not up by the register, nowhere. We questioned it and they rudely said it was their policy. We asked again where it says this is their policy and they could only point to the AMEX info in the bill booklet. Sorry, but that's AMEX suggestions for tipping, not restaurant policy. And it doesn't say anything about a party of 4. They didn't like what we had to say at all and were even more rude. We insisted that we would pay the bill without the tip and that's it. And by the way, we did leave a tip separately on the table but nowhere near the % they would have gotten had they not pulled that nonsense. I don't care how good the food is....we will NEVER go there again. Dishonest & rude is enough for me to stop being a customer. If they keep this up, it will only be a matter of time before people stop dining there. read more

Went here a few times and the food is okay overall. They need to work on customer service. The place was not crowded but the service was extremely slow. The waitress doesn't pay much attention to customers. We had to flag her down every time we needed something (napkins, drink refills, or the check). I don't think I would go back after giving them a few chances. I thought that maybe the service would be better the next time but that is not the case. read more

Enjoyed Buffet twice! First time was able to order a glass of tap water. Second time was denied a glass of tap water. Since it was lunch time, a BYOB was out of the question. Bottled Water is bad for the environment and soda is bad all around. If they want to cut cost, they should cut in a way that does not offend the customer. I wonder if they would tolerate a BYOW (Bring Your Own Water) container??? Perhaps I will try that the next time I visit. As mentioned, food is some of the best, but I think they should be courteous enough to provide essential water!! read more

Just had dinner tonight, first time trying this new restaurant with my wife. We both enjoyed our dinner and experience. The service was very good (and the restaurant was fairly busy). Restaurant has nice atmosphere. Menu has a huge number of choices. We tried items from the chinese, thai, and japanese parts of the menu, and all our selections were delicious. We both thought the sushi was very good. We both agreed that we would definitely return to this restaurant again. read more

First off the Sushi is not that good, go to Tokyo they give you more for your money secondly the reason I will never go back I ordered take out told me 45 mins seemed long didn't care went in 10 mins before I was supposed to be there. Was told that it was going to be another 30 mins. Sat at the bar waited the 30 mins. Was told it was going to be another 15 to 20 mins in all I ended up waiting over an hour and 20 mins. Now i'm getting extremely aggravated because I was charged for the food already and couldn't walk out at this point I ordered over 50.00 worth of food. Then wasn't even offered anything for making me wait this long until I complained. WILL NEVER GET FOOD HERE AGAIN.. read more

We went to Mikura last night. The service was sincere and they exhibit good teamwork. Our waitress was overwhelmed with tables and one of the sushi shefs came out and took our order. The sushi is the best in Reading; just a little better than Asian Star. The Incredible roll was excellent and the white tuna-cucumber roll solid. The chinese food was above average. The restaurant uses good quality ingredients which is the basis for a good experience. We haven't tried the Thai food. We will go back and sample more off the menu. Nice work Mikura. read more

Went there for dinner last night. Service was quick but unfortunately the night turned into a nightmare even quicker. There was a ROACH in my daughter's vegetable fried rice. I didn't want to make a scene as there were other customers near us so I quietly told the waitress. She was very apologetic and offered to bring her a new meal or free dessert but my daughter was so grossed out, she refused to eat anything from there except their water. Needless to say, my husband and I couldn't enjoy our sushi at this point. They removed the $9.00 meal from our check & gave us a $10.00 gift certificate and that's it. I couldn't believe that they actually thought we would come back and charge us for the rest of the meals ($57.00). Our dinner should have been on the house for dealing with that as well as not make a scene. No one else in the restaurant knew what had just happened.
