Today I had my first set of lash extensions and my first facial at Mila Artistry. I have never felt a facial was really necessary but I must say the experience was wonderful - the atmosphere was very soothing and relaxing and the table was comfortable- through the process she checked in with me to be sure I was comfortable and the pressure was ok. Mila is such a treasure! I was tired of my sparse, thin lashes and looked on Yelp for someone nearby to enhance my eyes. Mila had great reviews so I gave her a call and got an appointment that same day. There isn't any off-street parking but I found a spot close-by without a problem. After escorting me in, I found her salon to be very cute and professionally appointed. She is a solo practitioner and the salon is quiet and comfortable. Mila explained everything: the different types of lashes, the adhesive, maintenance and such. She asked about my past experience with lashes to get an idea about how they worked out for me. Then she got to work and 2 hours later, my lashes were done! I wanted them to look natural and they are perfect! I will definitely be returning so Mila can work her magic again. She even has products on hand to assist with the maintenance. And did I mention that she is very affordable? I highly recommend her. read more
