Hands down one of the best pizzas in north cal let alone the 209 county. I am a fan of this place and there pizza along with the customer service given to the customers. I walked in for the very first time didn't know about this place but stopped by for Starbucks. Randomly buddy of mine was hungry so we gave it a try. I decided to give the place a try after driving past it many times going to starbucks. The employees were all really warm and welcoming. I ordered the roasted garlic supreme pizza which was REALLY tasty. I normally prefer thick crust pizza, but this was surprisingly delightful. My family also ordered the Shami Kabob which came with rice, grilled veggies, lettuce and nan or pita bread. The seasonings were great, however I wasnt too thrilled with the meat. . .but it did say ground beef, so im not sure why i was expecting something else. Dang! This is the second time I've reviewed them. Here is what happened this time: My son loves their pizza. I gravitated and agreed to get him a 12 inch with pepperoni and sausage. Pizza-9.99. Toppings- 2@ 1.00 each (according to their website, no discounts). Total, 11.99 plus tax...but NOOOO. They charged me 17.95??? I'm pretty sure the tax isn't 4+ dollars. Tucked away behind the Starbucks is a little gem of a place. Nothing fancy; no video games, pitchers of beer or salad bar, however a pretty darn good tasting pizza and garlic cheesy bread. I also had the Greek salad which arrived quick, fresh and with a choice of Greek or balsamic dressing. I would have given a 5 star but their credit card machine was down. Man I love this pizza. I live in Elk Grove but my work brings me down this way every now and then. I just think Mike makes the best pizza. My go to is the All Meat and I have to say. If your gonna eat it right there in the Restaurant you might want to give it just a few minutes to cool. Otherwise your gonna lose your toppings. But after that this pizza will rock your taste buds. They need to take care of the flies, and one of the employee's needs to cut out on the flirting. My experience was pretty bad. I called them trying to order and I was trying to explain to them the coupon I have, then the guy pretty much cut me off and said to come on in. When I arrived to the place I gave him the coupon then the guy was like " I don't need that dude, I need the money. " He did not take my order either nor did he ask what topping I wanted. Good food but like previous reviews mention shitty service. I visit often as I live close by and I do like there pizza and also chicken sandwiches. I sometimes get the kabob which is also good. But what I hate is I order on the phone and every time I get there it's never ready. Like never. Ever ever. Never. Every time I sit there and wait. Today they looked at me like I was crazy. I'm like wow I just ordered $30 worth of food someone took my order and even told me it would be 40 minutes which I already thought was a long dam time. This is an update from a review I did a couple years ago. Obviously things changed and not for the better. There's new management, staff and ownership one or all of the above. The staff is unorganized, the pizza prices have now doubled and the food gets a thumbs down. I really don't like to write reviews like this but like any other hard working individual when you spend money you expect good service and good food. We got neither. We spent over $40.00 on a medium pizza, garlic cheesy fries that had no cheese or garlic and were served 20 minutes after we got our pizza, plus 4 cans of soda and a gyro.
