Compared to all the other pizza places in this town, they are the best (My boys love this place, so we're regulars). If you appreciate pizza for its dough, Milan's is worth the try because they actually make it and it's got flavor; it's not your generic pizza chain dough. In our group, there was a chicken and rice bowl, slice of cheese, slice of olives and mushrooms, (very large slices), 2 Greek salads, and a beef gyro. The pizza was "thin sliced and the crust was crisp, it was delicious!" The chicken and rice bowl "was amazing " asked for the veggies on the side and the request was happily done. A green sauce was given to the picky eater of the rice bowl, and he really liked the sauce. Almost ate all of the sauce with his meal. I had the gyro and side Greek salad. The salad was full of veggies and a generous helping of feta on the salad. The gyro was delicious. Generous amount of sauce. The beef was very well seasoned. The other Greek salad that was ordered could have easily fed 3 people. The owner is the one that took our orders and brought us our food. He is very friendly and kind. Wow, I found this place on my way to fremont from Elk Grove. I and my cousin tried their combo Kabob plate and the Kabobs were delicious and the owner was a great host and it is a very neat and cozy place and very clean restrooms. Thank you guys for the yummy food and excellent service. read more

This place was one of my favorite pizza places in Lathrop until they brought me a pizza with a baked on fly. They need to do more quality control there because my wife took a bite out of the slice with fly on it and she was centimeters away from eating it. I am beyond livid. read more

If I had to give this place 0 stars I would!!! I called in for a pepperoni/ pineapple and once I arrived to pick up my pizza they automatically started speaking Spanish to me assuming I didn't speak English (not in a good way) As soon as I asked for my order they wanted to give me a pepperoni/ sausage pizza knowing damn well that's not what I called in. The older gentleman was forcing me to take that pizza that I clearly did not order , I kept telling him what I ordered and he did not care. He didn't bother to make me what I ordered and kept telling me I was was wrong that I did order a pepperoni/ sausage. If you're a woman don't come in here alone they won't treat you very nice and if you're Hispanic they will assume you don't speak English. This was one of the best decisions we made on the trip. The food was extremely tasty and the ingredients were fresh. The service exceeded our expectations! Great pizza, well priced and the best part is the owner who is the friendliest and kindest man you will ever meet. Our whole family has sworn off all of the other pizza joints because you just love the pizza and the guy. We even enjoy going to pick it up, just to say hello and hear his wonderful accent. This place does not need a long review. I was on the way to Pismo Beach and we stopped by here for a quite bite. There customer service is very odd. The owner was rude because he rushed us to order, but then he said he was joking. We asked him for ranch then he said "why would you ask me something like that" but then said hew as joking. On the bright side, their pizza slices are huge and they cut them into a four pieces. We ordered their king kong size pizza (half garlic chicken/half combination), which was HUGE! It literally only took ONE slice to fill me up! Will easily feed 8-10 people, and the price was decent (less than $40!) Their crust is good, and their service is phenomenal! The workers there are really friendly and are quick to make conversation while you wait to get your pizza boxed. Would definitely recommend Milan's pizza for those who live locally. It's right next to Savemart, so walking across the parking lot to pick up a few beers to go with your yummy pizza is a must! And for those who don't live close to it, it's right off the Lathrop Rd exit, it's definitely worth the drive on the freeway if you don't live locally. I don't know why people think the owner is rude, especially to women. I went in today and ordered the combination kebab. It was great. I started having them deliver to me aver 10 years ago. Most of the time the owner delivered. He has always been friendly to the whole family. When I went in today there were no customers and they were sitting at a table enjoying lunch. We have been comming here for the past 4 years. Whether delivery for game nights of 10 people plus or sit down to eat, the owners know what customer servis really is! Their pizza is truly one of a kind, a diamond in the ruff. Even though they have competition surrounding them I will always come here before any chain "pizzeria". I am able to get there famous 24 inch King Kong pizza the way I love it and get a free cheese mid 12 inch pizza for the price of ome pizza from from local competition. Money well spent. First time I tried Milan's pizza was on Christmas Day and yes they were open!! I believe I talked to the owner over the phone who was very friendly with a inviting / family vibe. I ordered a XL pizza and it was one of the better cheese pizzas I've had. The sauce they use has a specific taste to it in a good way! Actually I'm surprised. There's so many pizza places and this one stands out. Here's why: The dough is very light, I don't even think it's pizza dough, it's kinda sweet and tastes like naan had sex with a pretzel and this was their baby. Sauce is on point, good tomato flavor that's rich and thick, not runny and flavorless like most pizza places in Cali. Toppings are wow. The veggies are fresh and crispy, can literally hear the crunch when someone is chewing 2 feet away. The meat is good as well. My boyfriend and I just moved to Lathrop and decided to explore the local restaurants. We were walking out of the neighboring eatery when we noticed a gentleman walking out of Milan's with the biggest box of pizza we had ever seen! It was Gianormous! And we were intrigued to say the least. We walked in just to look at prices and we were greeted by an equally big smile from a man named mike. We left with only a takeout menu but returned two weeks later. Not only did mike remember us he recommended the perfect pizza. We have came back a few times since and the customer service keeps getting better and we haven't had a bad pie yet. Great guy, great pizza pie, and great sense of community every time you walk in. Found this excellent place for lunch during my workweek.......customer service is exceptional, the food is superb and the price point is amazingly inexpensive. Specifically, the Greek salad is my fave. It's honestly the best I've ever had. Today I'm trying the Bocci Bits and am certain they'll be delicióso as well.
