Not the place to go to if you want FAST, FRIENDLY service. Second year in a row for beech mtn 80's retro weekend and these people don't have a clue on how to bartend. With a packed house, they make you pay for your drinks in one line first and they then assembly line your drink in another line and take forever? You have to do this every time? God forbid allowing customers to run a tab to save time? Waited for over 25 min for 1 drink? Time to call tafford for a bar rescue to get these guys a clue on how to serve for volume! Manager John opened the kitchen for us even though it was late night menu when we got there. Incredible beer selection (including Foothills my favorite), awesome pizzas and wings, must-visit for anyone coming to Beech. Bethany our server was awesome - and it was her first night! read more

Five bartenders, one manager...zero service! We went last night for 80's night. They were lost. One girl made drinks while everyone else ran around lost. Expensive drinks...tasted awful. Took 23 minutes to get a drink at a bar that was not crowded. I think they're content with the lack of competition read more

Food is pretty expensive, which I guess is what your looking for while on vacation but it's a super cool place and people are very nice, even ran into one of the investors who asked what we thought he could do to make it better in the game room area read more

We visited this restaurant during a weekend trip to Beech Mountain. The greek food was fantastic, service was great and my son said the Baked Spaghetti was "the best he's ever eaten!" I also enjoy a good Moscow Mule with dinner and theirs was top notch. Will be back again! read more

Place was absolutely disgusting!! I have had Totino Frozen pizza better than what I got here. The wings seemed like they were microwaved. The service was terrible, oh and the pricing on the garbage served was a joke! Place looks great from the outside. Diners beware- DO NOT BE FOOLED! read more

We stopped by here on Christmas to get out of the cabin for a bit. We did not order food but just had some mixed drink specials and local beers. Pool tables were decent and staff friendly. read more

This is a great place to get great quality service from a great server named Hannah. If you get her pay her a really big tip bc she is awesome. I ordered a gyro and it is quite possibly the best thing I have ever eaten. 11/10 would dine again! read more

Our family offered to watch our child so we could get out for a little while. We stopped here for a quick beer and to catch some of the football playoffs. It took 30 minutes for us to get our beers, despite our close proximity to the bar and what seemed to be plenty of staff. We also ordered a couple of appetizers that took so long, we had to end up cancelling it so we could get back to the lodge. What should have been a fun excursion for tired, new parents ended up being a bad experience. read more

The staff were all super nice, but the food was overpriced and apart from the hamburgers, was mediocre at best. We paid $9.90 for a BLT with advocado spread. I expected it to be something quite better than what I could have made at home for that price, but it was very ordinary on regular toast. We ordered children's chicken tenders for my daughter - no price listed on the menu - and we were charged $11.90 for three mediocre chicken strips. The fries were excellent and something different than the usual -- swirl cut. My five year old son's burger was $9.90, but I let that go since they made an exception to make him a smaller burger since it wasn't on the children's menu. If you go, expect friendly staff, great fries and burgers, and decent atmosphere for a very high price. Two stars for overly high prices and poor quality on other food we ordered. read more

Went to this place to eat on 1/4/15. Paid $13 for a quesadilla and they charged me for WATER. In addition, the service was poor even though there were about 6 employees standing around on their phones and talking. I will not be back. Any place where they charge $13 for a quesadilla AND make you pay for water is not for me. I do not recommend. Beech is such a great place, it's surprising this place is so bad. read more

We stopped in for dinner one evening. The servers were really nice but the food was overpriced and nothing, except for the lettuce and veggies on the burger were fresh. The burgers tasted like frozen patties. The food tasted like what you would get at a bowling alley but priced like you are at a top NYC eatery. The tea was $3.50 and had gone bad. $3.50? Really? If they don't change what they do, they won't last long. Go for some other places on the mountain that have tasty food at reasonable prices. read more

Try this place! Fun, casual interesting atmosphere. Some of the best fish tacos ever! Fresh made mango salsa. Servers were incredible...knowledgeable and super friendly. Here on girls weekend and have not found a better casual hangout. Pool tables and awesome fire bar outside, so cool! read more

Absolutely awful food. Burgers tasted like old frozen patties. Kids pizza was terrible. Gyros were ok. Fries were good although it was a$2 upcharge which is ridiculous. Service was slow and tried to convince us that was fresh ground beef. It is not. read more

Food took 2 hours to come out after ordering while the restaurant was empty. I ordered the chili with craving for something warm, hearty and tangy after a long day of skiing. What ended up was cold tomato meat sauce served in a styrofoam coffee cup. No cheese and no spoon. It was the weirdest thing. read more

The sign says "Pancake House" - my family and I ate there for the breakfast buffet. Not bad food... but not good food, either. Certainly not worth $10.95 per person. However, what brings me here today to warn future diners is this - the restaurant automatically adds 18 percent gratuity for large parties, which I most certainly don't mind at most restaurants, but at a buffet? We were forced to tip our waitress 18 percent (which came out to $17.73) - an awful lot of money just to pour coffee, and she didn't even come back around to fill up everyone's cup. read more

Oh dear... where do I begin... I had high expectations from the nice ambience and music, but that changed quickly. 5 minutes to be seated in an empty restaurant, 10 more to have orders taken. 10 more for drinks to come out, and another 25 for for the food. Unorganized and unknowledgeable staff with one person "in charge". Salad had to be eaten with hands (forks were not provided, even when asked for). Bill came with extra drinks (on top of the sub par mixed drinks provided) and was not split. We asked to split, but our request was met with reluctancy. Our server even suggested that we had wronged them by not notifying ahead of time that we would be on separate checks, which is the responsibility of the server. The server then griped to us about how much he/she hated their job, and handled the situation with general distaste. Overpriced, "understaffed", bad attitudes, par drinks and food, and an overall uncomfortable experience. I don't know if it is like this every night, but prepare yourself if you wish to go. I sure will not be going again. read more

My Family went there for breakfast had great a breakfast and buttermilk pancakes my wife had an western omlelt little pricey but GREAT food went back for dinner that night had the prime rib new york strip steak and a burger all three entrees were excellent well return this summer i highly recommend this restaurant when visiting beech mtn. read more
