Walked in yesterday mid-evening at 5:30 pm and was greeted by Anna with a pleasant, pretty smile. She was kind, helpful and very nice. This is an Armenian bakery run by a lot of nice, helpful employees. They sell a variety of baked goods and a few savory items. Ponchik, (the closest way to explain this food is a donut). Filled with custard, nutella, and I believe other flavors too. They have Lahmajune, (Armenian pizza), Perashki, (a long dough filled with Spinach, Potato, Mushrooms, Cheese). They also sell other types of pastries, beverages, candy, cake, chocolates, boreks, with different fillings. My favorite is the Cheese borek. Rolls too. With different fillings.. and so much more.. All I needed and was craving for was 4 of their fresh, delicious Ponchiks. They were nice enough to give me an extra one--free of charge. The smell of those Ponchiks transported me back to Armenia. It was fresh and very hot. Came straight from the fryer. Since I was going to have dinner next door, I didn't want to get full on sweets. For 4 Ponchiks I paid ($13.60). Their prices are very affordable according to the sizes of their delicious savory and sweet baked goods. If you pay with card, there is an extra $1.00 fee for processing. I paid cash. Thank you all very much. Parking is shared with other businesses, and no public restroom. Inside and outside seating. They have multiple other locations.,

I arrived and walked into the cute shop and was greeted by a very friendly staff. I asked a few questions and then I orderd the custard ponchik which she said would be ready in 15 min. While I waited I browsed the shop and I got a few other things I wanted to try such as the yogurt soda, more from curiosity than from a craving. I also picked up a box of Nazook. My Ponchik was ready quickly and I was able to use tap and pay and then I went on with my morning. I couldn't help it I started to eat my Ponchik on the drive, it was so fresh and piping hot, so fluffy, and the custard so thick and delicious. I am definitely a fan! I LOVE custard filled things and these Ponchiks are my new obsession!

I mention this because I am a diehard "go there and try it in person" type guy, but with this place, it TRULY does not matter lol just use Uber Eats or your preferred app. This place is open LATE!! God bless how you can find pretty much anything at any hour in LA! I got the Dubai chocolate tres leches cake and my lady got the fruit parfait and crème. Not cheap for what you get, but again, open super late so beggars can't be choosers. The ambiance is that it's located in a somewhat spooky looking closed strip mall. There are streetlights, but I wouldn't exactly recommend hanging out here past midnight Next time I'll try the cheese cake!

That noted, it's absolutely worth the nocturnal trek to what feels like the middle of nowhere. The worker was very sweet and directed me to pay via Venmo, then proceeded to prepare my order. It takes a bit to get your order because this place is swamped with mobile orders along with the line it's constantly tending to. Anywho, we got the Nutella and Mango Cheesecakes. I am a Nutella aficionado; I will stay this way until my very last breath unless I develop some random allergy to hazelnuts later into adult life, and even then, that'll be my untimely undoing. This cheesecake was perfection; you can taste the Nutella both in the creamy cheesecake and on top, with a generous drizzle covering the cheesecake; the Oreo crust was thick but not stale or annoyingly hard. 10/10. The Mango Cheesecake: the birthday boy' slice. I prefer raspberry or strawberry toppings when going for fruity cheesecakes, but the mango cheesecake hits the spot; mango chunks on top of a New York cheesecake slice and a buttery, graham cracker crust. I would actually order this myself. 10/10. When it comes to hole-in-the-wall dessert spots, Sweetholic is a win, win. Nice service, reasonably- priced (about $11 a slice, about a whole dollar cheaper than other LA cafes and the staple Cheesecake Factory), and cheesecake that will make you moan into the sweetest of slumbers. Check it out yourself!

I am usually very picky about my oolong milk teas, but you can tell they use good quality tea and brew it freshly. Aside from freshly brewed teas, they have blended drinks, smoothies, and acai bowls also. This is a newer boba shop in North Hollywood in a plaza next to Bangin Buns. We went around 9:30 pm and the employees were nice and attentive. My cousin is vegan and they were able to make most of the drinks she wanted vegan. The interior of the shop is super cute with plenty of seating. They many board game options. Great location, great prices, and delicious beverages. The chicken pot pie is absolutely perfect, will warm you to the core, and absolutely satisfy you. The quiches all redefined quiche for me, I can't get enough of them. I can't believe I walked by this place for 3 years before ever entering, I really wish I was familiar with their game sooner. Stepping in you're greeted by a cozy, rustic ambiance with lots of natural light and plants. Overall, this is a fantastic place to hang out with friends or work remotely for an hour or two.

If you're gonna make key lime pie, it needs to taste like key lime... and it needs to knock you on your ass. I LOVE key lime pie. I make the best one outside the Keys. I do. I'm sorry, it's just a fact. It's perfect. Buttery chewy graham cracker crust with the perfect balance of sweet and buttery, perfectly set key like custard with just enough sugar to sweeten it but mostly sweetened from the condensed milk and enough eggs to make it a real delicious custard. The like is sharp and hits you nicely without being acrid. Perfectly tart and sweet, the way it should be. The crust should never be brittle. If it crumbles when you fork it, it's wrong. It should sink in. So what happened at RoP? Well, maybe they need a meeting of Congress to put in a bill for less sugar and a denser, chewier graham cracker crust. The density of the custard was perfect, but the taste was... well, it was kinda bland. Kinda boring. I tasted the condensed milk over the lime which was just barely there. The crust shattered if I put my fork into it and... Well, look: I ordered two slices for delivery after a terrible experience at House of Pies which was basically horror pie on a plate. RoP apparently won awards for their pie, blah blah blah... it was fine. But the real kicker is that it was over $20 for two slices and it was... meh. It should be better than that. I'm still on my hunt for the best key lime pie since my relocation to LA, so if you have a suggestion, please let me know! I will literally go anywhere in the LA area for it. To summarize: 1. Little key lime flavor 2. Too sweet/condensed milk-ish 3. Crumbly crust 4. Next!

My hubby and I were helped by Jasmine, who was welcoming, sweet, and very friendly. She gave us Dubai chocolate samples, and then little sample cups of the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup topped with baked Filo dough for crunch. We wound up sharing the large Dubai chocolate strawberry cup for $18. The strawberries were plump and sweet and fresh. The pistachio cream was rich and delicious. The chocolate was melty, and as we ate, hardened into a nice little shell. The shreds of baked Filo dough gave it a very nice crunch. It was really fun having a parking lot picnic! You couldn't ask for a friendlier or nicer employee than Jasmine. She really sold it! This isn't something you eat every day because it's extremely rich, filling, and admittedly, quite expensive. But I could see myself getting a hankering and going back again one night when I'm in the mood for a sweet Dubai chocolate strawberry cup.
