Victory Bread is my everyday go-to! Around 8:40-8:55 PM they pull out fresh hot bread so warm it burns your hands -- and that's the best part. It instantly takes me back to childhood. The smell is unbelievably good, and it tastes perfect just as is (half the bread is usually gone by the time I get home, even though it's only a 3-minute drive). They only take cash, so come prepared. They have a variety of options, but my favorite is the MATNAQASH. Highly recommend! read more

Found the Puri Bread at Super King on a whim and I am loving it! It's so soft and chewy and sturdy and bakes perfectly. I slice in half, add cheese, and bakes it before topping with stuff. It holds itself together, perfectly crusty on the outside but still manage to be soft and chewy inside. The nutrition label doesn't really tell much tho. Tip: put it in the fridge if you don't plan on eating it all within a few days. Mine got moldy on day 5 after purchasing :( I guess they don't use preservatives. read more

This review is ONLY for their LAVASH bread. I have purchased it MANY times and will continue to buy due to clean ingredients and fresh bread. The taste is amazing, and so is the quality. Love how there are no additives, and numerous kabab places use this bread. I haven't purchased any of their other items so I cant comment but I know they are well known for their BREAD. Hence the name victory bread hehe read more

Unbelievable how hard-working they are here! They are open 24 seven which is just unheard of. Prices are beyond fair, I am a huge fan of their spinach pocket which tastes just like a calzone and only costs $2! I will be back to stock up on those, because they freeze and reheat easily. They're lavash bread is delicious as well as their sweet treats. Service is wonderful, so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend supporting a local business as hard-working as this one! read more

I have been coming here for over ten years. Lately not so much cause I make my own bread. They bake bread all day. It's always fresh and the variety is good. Puri is my family's favorite and it's delicious here. It's a very small bakery and it gets crowded at times. Parking lot is small also that's being shared with other stores in the plaza. Customer service is ok, sometimes better than other. Overall a great place to buy freshly baked bread. read more

A real bakery! They make such reasonably priced authentic artisanal and Armenian bread and pastries. Folks at the register are really patient with me. Cash and Zelle only. It's a little storefront connected to their large bakery. $3.50 or $5 for most bread I saw. read more

A long standing local 24 hr bakery with an assortment of bread for incredible prices. I've gotten lavash bread for my roommate and significant other on more than one occasion and it's always top quality. I'm pretty sure they do business with other businesses and companies all over Los Angeles, because this bread is super rich and distinct. The parking is limited in a shared lot with a pizzeria and Piroshki House however Victory Bread is worth your visit. The inside is pretty small and lines do form from locals out the door and into the lot, on weekends during the day... But that's the beauty of a 24/7 bread shop. Their puri bread is magical! We use it in our sandwiches for my catering company and it's so perfect. Gets nicely crispy when baked but still tender on the inside. Even our sandwiches the next day are so good when we reheat them. The bread reheats perfectly Can't recommend this bakery enough! FYI. I always ask for plastic sleeves for my puri bread cause it dries out in the paper sleeves that come with it. read more

Discussing... hair baked into the bread. This morning I bought puri bread from a local market and when I cut into it there was hair, SUPER GROSS! Seems that they don't wear hair nets while preparing the dough or something. Will not be purchasing victory bread product again and absolutely do not recommend it to others as cleanness must be an issue in their kitchen. read more

This place has reasonably priced bread! They have large loads of bread for only $2.00 bread! They have a bourses with all greens for all you vegans out there! They have lavash bread for only 2.00 also! Just make sure you bring cash because they don't accept credit cards! read more

The entrance is very small, but they bake the best, most fresh, and tastiest bread ever. I bought 3 different bread, gata, and borak. The boraks were not my favorite. I've had better boraks from other location. The spinach borak needed the spinach to cook more, and if they re-size them smaller it would've been perfect. As far as the gata, probably the best I've ever had. I wish I bought more. I will return, and highly recommend. read more

this place use to be good when they first opened now its just a cespool with them raising prices trippling them for no reason like the rest of armo bakerys taking advantange of economy downfall but thats still not the reason i came at night and saw them baking then say one of grandmas drop fresh baked bread on the floor after picking it up she blows her germs on it supposedly cleaning it and put it back in rotation even do she saw that i saw very unproffesional floor you step on that bread only cost 30-40 cents to you most likely i can only imagine what goes behind closed dooors never would come to this place again they got creddy and ruined it no respect for customer or product read more

I got: -"Ajarski" (it takes 30 mins to make, ORDER AHEAD;) for pick up!! - "chicken shawarma" (OMG TASTY YES!! such a generous portion for a low price I think it was about $11.00 and that's with salad and rice and veggies and the meat!!!! **GREAT PORTIONS!!** - SIDE OF IKRA OOHH SO GOOOOD!!! This is a great place to get fresh bread at a very reasonable price. They are a small mom/pop establishment, but there might not be that many choices to choose from. Only negative is parking might be an issue because they are located in a small strip mall with 3-4 other businesses. read more

Very sad to write this review because it was my first experience here but I'm doing it so that others are not put in the same situation as I was. I called to order on Friday for Monday. While I wanted to pick up the catering earlier, they asked me to pick it up a bit later which was cutting it close but I decided to be flexible and agreed. My sister went to pick up my order and they delayed it again by another 20 minutes. All of which I could have gotten over had my order not come to me the way it had. I paid in full for 12 lamaju and I was given was 4 and some random tortilla with spinach on top. Additionally, the borek I ordered was burned and tasted re-heated. When I reached out, no one offered help and I was blown off several times. Last minute I had to have family members drive to another bakery to replace their mistake so I ended up paying double. See pictures for a reference. Long story short, don't waste your money here, there are tons of great bakeries/catering options in Noho. read more

We love their Bread. This place is our only go to place for all our Bread and Lavash needs. Today we went to their Take Out restaurant. We tried out their Kebabs and their Lahmajune. The Kebabs both chicken, pork and lule were all so delicious and the portions were fairly large, almost enough to feed two people. Their Lahmajune, I have to admit that it is the best one I ever had. So crunchy so fresh my entire family loved it. Also the People who work there were so nice and offered us great customer service. The place was also very clean. If you have not been to this place you have to go check it out yourself. We will definitely be back. read more

Definitely the best bread! Victory bread is a wholesaler to most mom n pops and some major grocery stores as well as they sell bread to the public.. This place is working 24 hours making just bread however it's only open to the public 8-9. They only have a few selection maybe like 6 or 7 kinds of bread but it's always fresh anytime of the day..I've tried them all but my favorite is the Lavash aka flat bread and the taste is as close as you can get from the motherland Armenia! You can eat it just by itself or make any kind of sandwiches at home. I try to stay away from carbs as much as possible but when I have it, then why not eat the best! read more

This is by far one of the best Armenian Bread & Lavash Bakeries in town. They're open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The variation of all breads is always fresh, nice and warm. I can never get enough of it. I usually get a few, cut them up and store them in the freezer for future use (although it's usually eaten within few days). If you have a lavash cravings like I do at any time of the day (especially to make my wraps), this is the place to go. read more

Victory bread is my only "go to" spot for buying freshly baked bread. Their service is exceptional, and the bread is far more extraordinary. Their breads come in a colorful variety (i.e. sesame seeded, typical sandwich bread, bread crumbs), and best of all the prices are extremely accommodating. I highly recommend it. A word of advice, their bread is most fresh when bought around 2 in the afternoon. read more

Best, I mean by far BEST Armenian yummies you can get. I heard of it by a friend and omg you can not compare this place to any other. Everything taste so fresh and so tasty. You bite into the pastries and they taste like it's melting in your mouth. Their bbq, food and lahmaju, oh good, scrumptious can't even tell you about the quality. Everything is excellent Everyone in the restaurant is so friendly and helpful! I've been to a handful of Armenian food places and nowhere will you greet and treat you in such a sweet way as they do. We've bought two loaves of excellent bread from Big Square Market in Glendale, a whole wheat loaf, and a big wide loaf of Armenian bread - don't know what it's called. Both were excellent and came from Victory Bread in Van Nuys. From the look to the feel to the taste, these bakers take great pride in what they do. The Armenian loaf is like getting an excellent baguette. The crust and the interior are all of a piece, each complementing the other. It's just great bread and I thank these people for taking such pride in baking excellent bread. read more

Lychee Rose - The vanilla rose mousse was quite light, and had a very 'delicate' flavor to the treat. The lychee itself was a unique flavor that wasn't quite my cup of tea, but was still delicious nonetheless. Blossom - The vanilla mousse is quite light, and goes nicely with the treat itself. The pistachio sponge + pistachio / red berries insert goes together quite nicely. Tropical Mango - The mango & passion fruit mousse was rich as well, but also had a very balanced flavor. The coconut crunch was the perfect addition, and the whole dessert was refreshing. Tiramisu 2.0 - The vanilla mousse & coffee contrast is so perfect. It's a combination that is so underrated. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. I told her I literally gave you a quarter right now, and she questioned it before eventually giving me the correct change. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a mistake. I understand times are hard, but charging more for products that clearly had corners cut doesn't sit right with me. It just comes across like there's no integrity. Clearly the quality and portions are going downhill. I wasn't even planning on writing this review. I was going to stay quiet, but the chocopie really ticked me off. I'm not going to pay for food that skims on ingredients and shortchanges customers by charging more for less, so this will be my last visit.

I suspect that the "buttercream" was made with milk and margarine and powdered sugar.....so much powdered sugar. It was sickeningly sweet, and it was dry too. And a true bettercream doesn't even use powdered sugar. So not only were the cupcakes terrible, they were not even what they purported to be. This is like calling a cut of meat a filet mignon and serving a hamburger. Von's, Ralphs and Albertson's make better cupcakes than this for a fraction of othe price.
