Came here at midnight on my friend's birthday; really inconspicuous place to the point that you'll likely miss it if not for the line outside. That noted, it's absolutely worth the nocturnal trek to what feels like the middle of nowhere. The worker was very sweet and directed me to pay via Venmo, then proceeded to prepare my order. It takes a bit to get your order because this place is swamped with mobile orders along with the line it's constantly tending to. Anywho, we got the Nutella and Mango Cheesecakes. I am a Nutella aficionado; I will stay this way until my very last breath unless I develop some random allergy to hazelnuts later into adult life, and even then, that'll be my untimely undoing. This cheesecake was perfection; you can taste the Nutella both in the creamy cheesecake and on top, with a generous drizzle covering the cheesecake; the Oreo crust was thick but not stale or annoyingly hard. 10/10. The Mango Cheesecake: the birthday boy' slice. I prefer raspberry or strawberry toppings when going for fruity cheesecakes, but the mango cheesecake hits the spot; mango chunks on top of a New York cheesecake slice and a buttery, graham cracker crust. I would actually order this myself. 10/10. When it comes to hole-in-the-wall dessert spots, Sweetholic is a win, win. Nice service, reasonably- priced (about $11 a slice, about a whole dollar cheaper than other LA cafes and the staple Cheesecake Factory), and cheesecake that will make you moan into the sweetest of slumbers. I called to order it and they told me to place the order online. I followed the girls instructions and I get there to pick up the order and it's not ready. I was really looking forward to trying the banoffee cheesecake as well. It does capture that subtle, classic British banoffee flavour, but let's be honest--a cheesecake version just doesn't quite hit the same as a traditional banoffee pie. This place charge 14 to 15 dollars for ONE single slice of cake. The cake is not made in house. It's delivered from an offsite commercial bakery. It's dry, tough cake. I can forgive underwhelming cake. Even "ok" cake is still a treat. But to charge 15 dollars for a slice? I'm sorry, but that's something I can't forgive. The ingredients that go into cake, flour, sugar, chocolate, eggs, etc, are cheap, affordable basic ingredients. Unless they're using the finest imported Belgian chocolate, which they are not, it costs them less than a dollar for a slice of cake. Please I urge you to go anywhere else. If you are looking for a whole in the wall place with unique mesmerizing desserts, than this is your place. I had to drive by this place two times to find it. I had no idea it was just a window with a Ring camera. I guess overall that fits because these desserts were so good they should be illegal. Came back after almost a year! We were craving something sweet after dinner. Decided on ordering a cinnamon roll cheesecake and a Nutella cheesecake. The slices are still the same size and can last a few days since they're pretty big. Now this time around our cheesecake slices were stuck to the containers. The Nutella one had all the topping stuck on the clear container. The crusts on both were extremely hard, couldn't use the spoon to break it apart. The cinnamon one is delicious with out the crust so we still enjoyed that one. The Nutella one was not Nutella flavored, it is a chocolate cheesecake with a Nutella topping. This review based on one visit I had. I ordered the mango sago dessert. The sago was practically swimming in the condensed milk/coconut milk. It did not taste fresh and it was just really off putting. I had to wait a bit too for them to make it despite ordering ahead on the Yelp app. It was disappointing and definitely wasn't worth the price. Bro. Do it. The Ube Cheesecake is delicious! Not overly sweet, earthy, with a delightful graham cracker crust. The Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake is fuego too!!! When I GPS'd it took me to a random restaurant, but then I noticed a little door on the side. You have to ring the doorbell and order through a window. It was kind of sketch, but I got the cheesecake. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake. The crust was super thick and the strawberries were too mushy for my liking. They only accept pay services like Venmo etc. You also need to scan a QR code for the menu. Since everything is to go, you are going to have some toppings get stuck on the inside of the to-go boxes. **Missing Fifth Star** You WILL drive past this place. You may even walk past it before you realize where you are. It's not a restaurant and is a bit uncomfortable for all those reasons. The drinks are alright in taste. You cannot order directly but only through a 3rd party even if you are at the place in person and that adds a lot of taxes and extra fees. Apparently you can order stuff they don't have. Matcha is seasonal or monthly special or something, yet its on their menu. Its not seamless. I was really excited about Nutella cheesecake. Apparently its not. Its chocolate cheesecake with some Nutella spread on top. I dont think it was actually Nutella, barely any hazelnut flavor. Very disappointed. We also got Ube and Mango.
