Front start to finish, it was the most amazing experience. The coordination was flawless and the service was top notch. We didn't get to meet our officiant Ellsworth until the day. The photographer and videographer made us feel so comfortable! The flowers were fresh and made beautifully. The hula dancer was gorgeous and the musician was wonderful. My hair and make up artist understood the assignment and they both made me look flawless! Our photographer Carson took over 200 photos and made us feel so special! Our highlight video and ceremony video were awesome. I recommend this company to anyone who wants to get married in Hawaii as they have the wedding planning down to a science. We started our wedding journey in 2019 by booking Hau'oli Hiers as our wedding coordinator. Hau'oli was with us every step of the way and was nothing short of exceptional! When I say she went above and beyond for us, that's a gross understatement. She pivoted with us at every twist and turn, regardless of what crazy, unexpected hurdle was thrown in our path. Literally 2 weeks before our wedding, we had to replan our ceremony and reception AGAIN, at the last minute, due to new restrictions mandated by the Mayor of O'ahu. Hau'oli once again strapped on her boots and led us safely and successfully through the metaphorical jungle, and there was a gorgeous beach wedding/reception on the other side! Not once did she hesitate to adapt with us during out-of-the-box brainstorming sessions-- daily calls (sometimes 3 a day) and running to venues to give us virtual tours while we sat on pins and needles here in NY, consistently providing innovative ideas (to work around roadblocks), and going with whatever we green lit to get it done. And when we finally arrived in O'ahu, she met us at Costco and Target to help us stock up on items we'd need for our after party, which she lugged around for us in her car and delivered after our reception. She did not have to do any of that, but had graciously offered. Yes, we paid her for a service (which, by the way, was a very reasonable price). But this treatment shows just how much she cares about her clients and her business. It's a passion project for her and exemplifies the absolute Spirit of Aloha! We were sad to say goodbye to her after everything was over, feeling like we were saying farewell to a good friend. After we returned to NY, she called to check in on us and see how we were doing, and we were so happy to hear from her! At the end of the day, there are no words sufficient enough to express our gratitude to Hau'oli for all that she's done for us these past 2.5 years. Isle Media was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator, and Alan was very quick and prompt in communications. Justin and Josh worked tirelessly with us on the day of, and was incredibly professional and courteous despite a grueling, nearly full day of shooting. They worked closely and in sync with our photographers throughout the day to capture everything from pre-wedding attire changes throughout different parts of the hotel grounds and the beach, the tea ceremony, the actual ceremony, and all the way through until the end of the reception. And were very knowledgeable in providing guidance and instructions throughout the day. Just a quick 2-days after our wedding day, we received a short clip from Justin with highlights of our wedding day that we were able to share with our friends and family on social media. And just a week and a half later, we received our full wedding video with some great clips and montages, including wedding guest best wishes and a beautiful drone shot of the grounds and the majestic Hawaiian waters. We had some minor edit requests for our wedding video which Justin was quick to respond to, and we were very happy with the end results. Thank you so much Justin and Josh! We also asked for a few specific/missing photos (a large group reception shot and a portrait of the bride with her immediate family) that still haven't been delivered. What's been most disappointing is the lack of transparency and communication. We've been incredibly patient, giving space for the creative process and trying not to rush the team. But after so many months and repeated follow-ups, we're left feeling anxious and in the dark. We've just repeatedly been told "next week" for months and now we've reached a point that we've been entirely ghosted. We trusted Isle Media to preserve the emotional essence of a once-in-a-lifetime day -- and now we're afraid we may never get to relive it the way we had hoped. For a service of this cost and significance, this level of delay and silence is deeply disheartening. If/when our remaining photos and videos are delivered at the high-quality standard you would expect from Isle Media, I'll gladly update this review -- but as it stands, I wouldn't want another couple to go through this and therefore can't recommend their services to anyone looking for an event photographer/ videographer.
