    Pipeline Malasadas
    Emily D.

Visiting Las Vegas and friend told us to try Pipeline because the malasadas are close to Leonard's in Hawaii. Pipeline had huge variety selections of malasadas. The interior was clean and contemporary Hawaii feel. No seating so mainly it's a too go. The service was very good but it was not crowded at all. We ordered a half dozen box which was I think 5% discount. The malasadas were hot and pillow soft but a bit pricey. The filled malasadas were $1 more. Overall it was like Leonard's but not quite Leonard's. Was a nice treat for dessert after dinner.

Fancy schmancy malasadas...at least I can say I tried them. Probably won't be back- because they're in the expensive side. I would recommend for people to give it a shot though especially if they've never had a malasada before. Make sure you eat it fresh! We had the classic and li hing mui no filling. The place is clean except for the benches outside...covered in sugar lol...and staff was friendly. They are fresh so you can expect to wait a little.

If you haven't tried this Hawaiian malasada shop yet, you are missing out! It's right by Buffalo and 215 in a newer shopping plaza recently built. Everything is made to order, so they come out very fresh and warm. They open at 9am on weekends and 7am on weekdays (open until 9pm!), making it an easy stop any time of day whether you want a morning treat or nighttime dessert. The island vibes are on point -- Hawaiian music playing in the background, turquoise and blue accents inside, a place to sit and read about their origin story from O'ahu and big bright windows that make the space feel light and welcoming. Each donut starts at $3.50, with options to build a box and add on from there. If you buy 12+ you get 10% off your order! Friendly staff and even merch and extra items like boxes or bags available for purchase, too. Keep in mind, It is a grab and go (after waiting about 10 minutes or so) vs a sit down and enjoy as they don't have tables inside. We've ordered from here a few times - especially because the fam and my niece and nephew love them. We've had most of the flavors but our go-tos are the original sugar and cinnamon. I haven't tried any of the filled flavors, so that's next on the list! Such a fun, unique spot -- I don't think we have anything else like it around here. A great way to spread aloha through their tasty malasadas, so glad they opened in town and highly recommend!

After having dinner at Win Kee, I looked up dessert places nearby and Pipeline Malasadas popped up. Wondering if these malasadas are as good as Leonard's on O'ahu? They're just as good if not better. I don't know how they do it, but each malasada is made to order. Li Hing Mui - it's not a strong li hing mui flavor, I liked it Strawberry Cream Filled - yummy Although there's a couple benches, there's no place to sit down and eat.

Okay Pipeline! I see you! Watch out Leonard's! So my Hawaiian friend told me about this place how it tasted better than Leonard's. I'm like no way! Leonard's in Hawaii was amazing. How can any donuts here top it off here. This says a lot when it's coming from someone who was from Hawaii. So I had to come and try it myself. I've been wanting to come here but didn't ever come because I didn't know if it would be worth it until my friend confirmed it. So I got a plain with no sugar, custard, haupia (seasonal), and ube sugar (seasonal). They change some of their sugar and fillings around monthly. The ube sugar was my fav! So was my husband's. The dough was perfect. Light, dense, but not too heavy. Still crisp on outside and soft inside. Sugar wasn't too much and you can kinda taste the ube. This should not be a seasonal flavor. The fillings were delish. The haupia and custard were not overly sweet which I like. Now I wish I had them all dipped in sugar. This definitely up there with Leonard's. I like these better since it wasn't too heavy and they were not too sweet either. I like how I can customize the sugars and fillings. It is a bit pricey though! For the amount of money I had to pay for each donut, we could at least get a plastic bag to put all the donuts in. Leonard's had thank you bags. They aren't expensive. Just a suggestion. Ambiance- pretty casual. Not sure why more people are not lining up here. Location needs to be more busier like the strip or by a mall. Service was great! They were friendly and knew their menu.

Definitely the place for the best and freshest malasadas in the 9th island of Las Vegas. This may also even be the only one in town where you can get the variety of flavors that they offer. If you never had a malasada, the best way I'd describe it is like a huge ball with an airy texture. Almost as if this is what a donut would be if it didn't have its hole removed. Maybe? I've had all their malasadas, but my go to is li hing, cinnamon or classic. With the other flavors, I feel like it isn't so strong that I kind of get confused what I'm eating. Either way whichever one you get, it'll definitely be good. This area is pretty chill. Think of it kind of like you're at a donut shop except you can't see the donuts. You order the items you want and then you just wait for your malasada(s). There's no place for you to really sit and eat, but it's a portable food anyways. You can just eat it wherever inside or outside or just take your box wherever you decide. Definitely a must try for those who never had it, but also a great spot for those who knows what a malasada is.

Pipeline Malisadas is easily one of the best spots in the Southwest if you're craving real Hawaiian style malasadas. We grabbed a dozen of the classic sugar ones and some assorted samples, you really cant go wrong. Soft warm and just the right amount of sweetness. This place is the spot.

If you ever find yourself in Vegas, THIS IS A MUST! For someone who loves malasadas and Hawaii, this place is the closest thing compared to Leonard's, if not BETTER! Malasadas came out hot and fresh despite coming in on a Monday around dinner time! The malasadas were sooo soft, sugary, and delicious! Wish we had this place in California, but definitely will be coming back! Cheeeho!

Originally from Oahu, Pipeline Malasadas has brought the taste of authentic Hawaiian style malasadas to Southwest Las Vegas. Now, you can get a taste of Aloha goodness in the desert. Their malasadas are made to order so they come out piping out, crisp on the outside, and soft on the inside. Simply Onolicious! You can customize your order with flavored sugar toppings ($3.50 each) or indulge in their creme flavored versions ($4.50 each). The shop is located on South Buffalo Drive in the same shopping center as Nana's Green Tea. It is nice and clean with counters on the side where you can eat your malasadas. The staff is very friendly and welcoming; they will gladly explain the menu if it is your first time.

We had always wanted to try Pipeline, so we decided to just go for it after dinner at a nearby restaurant. The interior is clean and contemporary with a definite Hawaii and surfing vibe. The aqua color scheme is awesome and definitely makes you think of the ocean. The staff member was very friendly and explained the menu and pricing. Check out the unique story of how this company started which is posted on the wall. There is no seating inside unfortunately, but there is a counter you can stand at. We tried all the seasonal specials - pumpkin custard, macadamia custard, and strawberry li hing. They were all truly delicious. Definitely try to enjoy them while they are still warm! The pumpkin custard was my favorite. Amazing crunchy sugar outside with an outstanding fluffy interior with flavorful custard. Delicious! We were asked if we wanted them in separate bags, so we said yes. We didn't realize they charge for every extra bag. This seems a little cheap on their part. Overall, this was a delicious experience! PS - they are made to order, so expect a short wait to receive your order - about 7 or 8 minutes wait during our visit.

I said I would stop by as soon as they had the strawberry li hing malasada available. I did! Today was the first day and I ate one in the parking lot in my car. I don't care, the sugar and crumbs on my leggings were worth every warm, airy bite! I bought one for hubby along with pineapple and Oreo sugar. I ate those at home. I'm kinda glad Pipeline is about 15 mins away from me or I would have a serious problem! I had some li hing sugar left in the bag from my strawberry filled one and I dipped my pineapple filled malasada into it and that was a taste treat too! Maybe that will be a special someday. You've got until 2/28 to enjoy the strawberry filled li hing malasada. Definitely give it a try!!

The Malasadas were okay, the service was sub-par. When we walked in, it felt like we were an inconvenience. We waited 5-8 minutes for two orders malasadas. They were nice and worth (yay!) Would I come back? Maybe?

I get my nails done next door to this spot, and I got curious, so I went ahead and tried this and BAAM it blew my mind! Pipeline malasadas opened up this past spring in May. The people call it " Hawaii's favorite Donut." That was the first time! Next level - fried to perfection of fluffy, golden crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Malasadas are originally Portuguese, and they were brought to Hawaii by the Portuguese laborers. Second time was today, and it was what I remembered! BAAM! When walk in you can place your order or you can online order. Place is quaint and airy for you to just take a quick bite and go, no sit down or anything like that. It can be pricey, but hey I think it's worth it and get to support local businesses, right! I think it's a good cause! I tried the coffee sugar only malasadas and it was so fluffy and right amount of heaven in your mouth! Definitely will keep coming back!

Despite cooling down a bit, they stayed pretty warm (I still microwaved for good measure). These cookies are incredibly gooey, not at all cakey, and just sweet enough to still be flavorful. I ordered one here in Vegas and this month's flavor was coconut creme. Very light in flavor, same heaviness I've gotten used to from croissant donuts. They were also offering milk chocolate flavor this month that I wasn't aware of when ordering. I wanted to try the madeleines after gifting a friend the new IOTA hand cream made in partnership with DA himself. I ordered the lemon madeleines instead and was confused since they were coated in this earl grey white chocolate. The madeleine was drenched in maybe milk so it was so soft like tres leches with a lemon custard center. I went back the next day and ordered fresh, piped and baked to order mini madeleines-- twenty pieces for ~$12?! I should've bought at least two orders! And they smell just like the hand cream! So I went and bought myself the cream from ULTA to remember my DA Vegas breakfast runs while staying at Caesar's Palace. Also, my sister LOVES the pain au chocolat! She had it twice and probably should've bought more. It's pricey at $10 but worth the splurge. DKAs also run at $10 each. Get a nice four piece box as a gift for about $41. Oh! I forgot I bought three canelés. Ended up eating two of them. Opt for the bag instead of the box to save money. Custardy center with a chewy exterior, tastes a bit like slightly burnt brown sugar, in the best way possible. Finally tried the infamous chocolate chip cookie shot with steamed Madagascar vanilla milk! The cookie is warmed in their oven for ultimate melty chocolate-ness. I'm glad I shared this. Maybe I'll try the torched marshmallow ice cream bar one day. Staff is super sweet and friendly. Line goes by quickly. They have a few tables to sit at for a quick snack or breakfast.
