Vanilla milky swirl ice cream w/ Cinnamon Toast Crunch + Teddy grahams + Liliko'i drizzle

Five out of six people craved for a sweet edible treat after 12:15 p.m. Cold and inclement weather didn't stop us. This establishment was three-fourths full with patrons enjoying a milky swirl or milky cup. Available in two sizes - mini or regular. Choice of milky swirl which is soft serve mixed with your choice of cereal or milky cup similar to milkshake consistency. My CIL wanted coffee drizzle for the milky swirl; however, worker informed her they're out of that flavor. Instead, my CIL opted for chocolate drizzle. I inquired with worker which flavors were available for milky swirl. I was surprised there were only two flavors available - vanilla and strawberry. I didn't want my dessert to be too sweet so I chose vanilla. I initially wanted to order A Perfect Matcha without bananas. Unfortunately, the worker informed me they're out of matcha. Majority of the cereals offered on that day contained chocolate which my body shuns these days. I decided to come up with my own concoction of regular size Vanilla Milky Swirl ice cream with Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Teddy Grahams and Liliko'i Drizzle. I adored the creativity - five pieces of teddy grahams tucked in the Cinnamon Toast Crunch soft serve. Liliko'i flavor of the drizzle complemented this dessert. Enjoyed every spoonful. Help yourself to a free complimentary cup of water. Thank you for offering this to customers. I would love to return, see more variety in milky swirl flavors, try their matcha and/or ube milky swirl with non-chocolate toppings and drizzle.

Such an interesting concept for a soft serve. If you like cereal and ice cream, you'll love this place. There are so many different types of cereals you can choose from to mix in. It gives it a crunchy texture also. There are also a lot of options for toppings. The people were really great and patient with us in choosing since it was our first time. It was also very spacious and clean. Fun place to try out!

11/5/23 a Sunday. At about 2:35pm I had gotten a gift card I'm not gonna say how I got it, and I will not say who gave it to me, but I did have a very good amount on this card so I decided to take one friend with me out to this place and it was my first time. Seeing it was my first time for me and my friend. I decided to sit for a bit and kind of look over the menu. There are a good valuable amount of choices on the menu. It was truly a hard thing to choose. Between the swirl or the cup. I did get a great sample from the workers. I asked about the Thai Tea flavor. And they gave a great sample.. I can actually compare that experience of getting a sample from this place to when I got a sample from the Cook behind the counter at Katz deli in New York City. That experience can be compared to this. The sample I got from these workers is terrific. It was over the moon. I was shocked that they gave me a size that was at least 3 ounces in a cup. That was great. I even had to ask for another spoon because I wanted my friend to taste it. That's how much of the sample they gave me. Fantastic on the hospitable service in samples. The location is prime spot I felt- easy to find and they have a corner location on the ground level of Ka Makani Ali'i. The place inside is spacious- it's clean and very comfortable. The staff was very gracious. Even if there was a generous giving of samples I think there was a feeling of slight disappointment cause they ran out of Ube flavor ice cream. They didn't have Mochi balls, and they ran out of Macadamia nuts. So for my "regular" sized cup I got Capt Crunch (pB) cereal, fruit loop cereal. Toppings: Strawberries with Condensed milk drizzle. And my friend did the shake (regular sized) with Mac nut ice cream. "Oh's cereal" and honey drizzle. Everything was great and then my friend and I noticed that everyone else after us got their ice creams made Very pretty.. the realization was that they ordered a named made entrée that had all the fixings in it. It was one of the menu specials and not with one's own choosing of toppings or drizzle like what my friend and I got. Would've been nice to know that I had of time before ordering. I would've picked one from the menu instead of create my own. Otherwise everything was great. I still have a few more dollars on the card that I got as a gift and maybe I'll use it in the future I'm in no hurry to get there again but I know where it is this time so maybe y'all follow up in a couple of months and write another review.

Clean open seating. Located at kamakana at the Christmas tree entrance side. The ice cream has surprisingly good concept of fresh ground cereal into the ice cream based on the toppings or preset options they have. The machine they use allows every bite to have a crunch of cereal or topping. Great choice and open late for after dinner time.

Cute shop located inside of Kamakana Ali'i. The color scheme/branding are nice and cohesive to a dessert shop. The names of their products are also cute and catchy, love a good pun. As for the visit, it seemed like there were so many workers (4) but none of them really helpful at the same time, if that makes sense. We were briefly greeted as we walked in through the door. There was one family before us and one more family that came in after us. It was our first time there, so a little overwhelming as to what was going on. The cashier briefly explained what was going on and how to order but we felt very rushed. So we got back out of line to see how it all went down. Finally, when we were ready, we ordered A Batch Made in Heaven (chocolate) and a Feelin' Frooty (fruity). It took a good ten minutes or so to get our order. Both items were yummy to start and then it just ended up being bland at the end. It was a bit pricy too, for about $10 per cup. I'm not sure if I would drive all the way out here for this again, but it was worth a first try.

The place has lots of space for seating with friends and it's a fun, streamlined ice-cream parlor aesthetic. I always have an appreciation for puns so I do enjoy the colorful names of the creations they have. They have popular combination choices but you can also custom-create your own flavors. I'm a big chocolate and cookies n' cream-type of fan so I decided to go for the 'Batch Made in Heaven', which essentially caters to the cookie lovers, consisting of cookie crisp cereal, oreos, and chocolate drizzle. It hits all the right spots for that craving of sweet and creamy, with a nice texture combination of the soft serve and the crunchiness of the cookies. The downside is that it can be overwhelmingly sweet and rich after several bites, so I'd recommend sharing with a partner. I imagine 10-year old me would love to come here every day so it's a great place for the family to bring their kids after the movies, a hot day, or dinner at one of the restaurants nearby.

The ice cream here is cute and they offer a lot of toppings. I was surprised they had banana ice cream as it's not really common. It was really good! Worth a try but I'm not sure if I would come back. Maybe I'll try the milkshake version next time.

Cereal lovers dream. Milky Cereal Bar is located at the new shopping mall - Ka Makana Ali'i in Kapolei, a 30 minute drive from the city. It has the makings of Christina Tosi's Milk Bar which popularized cereal soft serve. The difference is the ice cream base. Tosi uses corn flakes infused milk so the ice cream itself already tastes like it. Milky Cereal Bar on the other hand uses this badass machine, and with one hard pull on the lever, it combines and squeezes out the freshly scooped ice cream and cereal of your choice. The combination is up to you. The product cohesively comes out of the machine with the cereal crushed into tiny pieces yet still retains its crunch. I still like Tosi's soft serve better in terms of flavor but Milky gives a whole lot of combination options outside the usual cornflakes and milk combo.

Located in Ka Makana Ali'i in the corner by HI Finest. Cute store front, and once you enter, there's all the toppings to choose from on display. The menu is posted big enough for all to see, and the ladies greet you right as you enter. Great customer service! We had like 4 kids with us, and each one of them got to choose their type of Milky dessert and cereal, so of course it did take some time for them to make their decision. The ladies were super patient and kind. I checked in on Yelp, and was able to use a 5% discount, so make sure you do that. We got our Milky desserts super quick. Everything we got was kid and adult approved! The Milky wasn't too cereal-y where it overpowered the vanilla iced cream. It was just the right amount of cereal flavor. I got the Captain Crunch milky cup with banana and blueberries. It was soooo yummy! We ended up grabbing covers, which was perfect to take on the road - super convenient! We will most def come back here when we're on this side, as we all loved it here!

I've seen this place a few times but always walked by wondering why people go eat cereal, then I went on Yelp to realize it wasn't a place selling bowls of cereal!! It's like a milkshake with cereal and other toppings and syrups on top. Friendly staff and a decent amount of options to make up your own concoction or they have fan favorites to choose from. There is a small seating area inside and you can always sit outside in the walkway. Note: there is a set of doors to enter and one to exit.

We stopped by after dinner to get dessert and then stroll around the mall and I'm so glad we did. It is super cute on the inside! They have fun Neon Signs with cute quotes and a mirror that has a quote to hype you up. We saw lots of teens taking selfies in the mirror with their friends and the atmosphere was just so lively and fun. Service was okay, I think the girl was tired of working and she seemed to be alone. She wasn't very talkative and just kind of dead faced you, but she got the ice cream done nice and fast so I guess you can't really complain. As far as the ice cream goes it was pretty good. The kid in me who loved cereal growing up would be sad to know that I'm not much of a fan of cereal anymore but it was nostalgic and fun. The cereal wasn't stale so that was a huge plus. Overall I probably wouldn't come here again but it was fun and I'd recommend it to other people, especially if you're a cereal lover.

I love ice cream and am always up for new ways to eat it. I expected to have a scoop of ice cream with some cereal on top. But when we got our ice cream, the cereal was crumbled up and mixed in with the soft serve ice cream. Think McDonalds McFlurry (which is my daughter's fav) but with more flavors and added toppings. I don't want it to sound like this is just a glorified McFlurry because it isn't. What I noticed most was the balance of taste and sweetness. I think a lot of the ice cream shops serve ice cream that's way too sweet. Which is why some places offer cups of water because you need to wash down that sugar. Milky Cereal Bar has just the right balance. Not too sweet but enjoyable for the taste and texture of the cereal. Topping include your usual sprinkles and caramel. I can't think of the rest... they have a lot. It felt like a good amount for the price, my daughter and I shared one. Great reward for kids that do their chores and their school work! read more

This was my first time here, at first I always thought it was just a place to eat cereal and would wonder why it'd be crowded all the time, so I'd just pass by. Tonight, I've stopped with family members and noticed it's a Cereal bar that's created into an Ice cream swirl or milkshake! At first glance, I wasn't sure about getting one but did anyways; I did Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal as a Mini Swirl ($7.00) with cookie dough and chocolate drizzle on top, I wasn't positive on the choices I've made with my order but it was delicious. My family and I recently visited and the staff was very helpful. They were patient as it was our first time here and even made recommendations. It was defnitely a new experience trying soft serve with cereal mixed in. They have a good variety of toppings and the soft serve was not too sweet. The cereal added a good and much needed crunch. We were in the mood for ice cream and I must have miss interpreted the web site for Milky Cereal Bar. If your are a cereal lover with creativity you will enjoy the possibilities. As tasty as this place is, it takes FOREVER to get your order. They have only one person working at a time sometimes and that is just a pain. To make ONE takes 5 min to make... so when there's 3 people in a party in front of you, you're waiting 15 min.. It's good, but not TGAT good to wait that long. I'll pass next time. read more

I did a search on Yelp for dessert spots in the area and Milky Cereal Bar popped up so we gave it a shot! I got the swirl with Cinnamon Toast Crunch, strawberry and sprinkle toppings, and coffee drizzle. The swirl was delicious, the service was good, and the decor inside is super cute! However, I do wish the amount of seating offered inside wasn't so limited. I wouldn't drive out of my way to come back, but I'll definitely return again if I'm craving ice cream and happen to be in the area. read more

Awesome dessert located at Kamakana Ali'i. The workers here are so nice, place is clean, but limited seating due to COVID. There were 3 tables and luckily we were able to sit inside. Perfect for a hot day, not your ordinary ice cream! Me and my daughter shared a batch made in heaven in a cup and it tasted soooo yummy! Lots of different toppings and flavors to choose from. The ambience in here is just absolutely amazing. Not to mention so pleasing to the eyes (I love the mint and light pink in here). They were fairly busy for a Friday night, but the girls behind the counter kept the line moving quick. We got our orders relatively fast without the quality of the ice cream being affected. What I love about their ice cream is that they make it immediately after ordering. You can still taste the crunchiness of the cereal even after it's been mixed with the ice cream. We really like it here. The Pretty In Pink Milky Swirl is my favorite But. I unfortunately have to take away stars because I watched the girl working on Friday touch EVERYTHING wearing the Same pair of gloves - including her personal flask AND the door handle to the back room. Would've been 5 stars but the cashier was very not welcoming she didn't greet us. Immediately a star off as I love a welcoming greeting or smile yes I know we wear masks but anyone can tell a smile through the eyes!! My fiancé and I were walking past one night and just the inside looked cute enough so we had to stop by. During our first encounter we were greeted by some friendly employees who offered to help us understand the menu. One side of the menu are ice cream mixtures and the other menu panel is smoothie/milkshake blends. The menu is slightly confusing but once you understand it, you want to try it all The first time, we tried the feeling frooty and beggin for s'more. All ice creams have the vanilla base and get mixed with various items. I'm guessing the vanilla base isn't normal sweetness because they add all the sugary mix-ins. This is great news though because the final product isn't a toothache, it's delicious and original. The beggin for s'more was more basic and less sweet than the feelin frooty l, it was good but simpler My feelin frooty was BOMB! Let me tell you, I didn't know that this was something I needed in my life. Upon first bite, I discovered greatness in a cup. When they originally handed me my cup, I thought to myself "there's no way I'm gonna finish this - it's huge" ...but 10 minutes later I realized I took the last bite of it and finished it no problem LOL. Both my pictures were same size and same style (one day the employees disclosed that "the ice cream was acting weird" so they had to serve it in the cup instead) and it costs $7.50 Yes the price point is a little high but you just gotta remember TREAT YOURSELF. It's WORTH IT After the first night - i was hooked. Before I knew it, o was craving some more and found myself back here just only a few nights later. When I went back the second time I tried the apple of my pie. I didn't know that place could get better. The apple of my pie mix was literally one of the best things I've ever eaten as a dessert. I added some bananas to mine for $0.50 more. So far, we've only tried 3 flavors but we have not been disappointed. Overall - Aesthetics - 10/10 - this place just SCREAMS "photo worthy" Flavor - 10/10 (we weren't impressed by the beggin for s'more so pass on that one but you HAVE to try the feelin frooty AND the apple of my pie) Customer service 10/10 - helpful employees who walked out from behind the counter to deliver to us instead of just calling our order out and for the willingness to explain the menu to us Portion and price - 10/10 - yes it's pricy but portions are huge and flavor makes it worth it all Guys, I can't explain how much of a treasure this place is. Not much of fan eating cereal mixed in ice cream. But I'm always to try new things. I ordered apple pie ice cream. It didn't have much taste of apple pie. Expecting to have bits of apple and pie crust, but not much flavor. I think it was ok. Just basic vanilla ice cream with cereals. Maybe next time, I'll try something different read more

Staff was super patient and kind, as my 5-year-old took a little bit of time to decide and it was our first time there. The girl that served us kindly explained our options, as we were figuring out our cereal, topping, and drizzle. I wasn't about to let my little one finish the milky swirl all by himself, of course. It was super yummy! We don't get treats like this very often, but if we get a chance, we'll want to come back for more! read more

This place is so aesthetically cute! I saw this place awhile ago while walking around the mall, but never went inside as it always looked sorta dead. I came by one-day after work, but not on purpose. Anyway... as great as the milkshake was, they get 1 star knocked off because of customer service. I walked in and nobody greeted me. I was probably the 4th customer there. There were 2 parties of 2 already sitting down enjoying their treats. I stood in front of the register for a long time deciding what to order. No one even asked me anything or even gave suggestions. Normally when a customer is indecisive, employees make some small talk or ask what they're looking for. It was complete silence. I finally decided on a Milky Cup which is their version of a milkshake and I went for their premade choices. I ultimately chose A Batch Made in Heaven - vanilla ice cream with cookie dough, cookie crisp and oreo sprinkles! So delish! Also if you check-in on Yelp, you get 5% off! What I didn't like about the cashier was that when I showed her I had a Yelp check-in offer she literally touched my phone without asking. She pressed the "use now" button when she could've just asked me to do it myself. That was a total turn-off. She didn't even say anything after the transaction either. They made my milkshake really quick which was great! Of course I wanted to get some pictures of the cute aesthetic neon-pink signs so I had to wait as some girl was literally hogging both decorations. The first sign that says "You're like really pretty" has a mirror below which is a cute concept for photos. She stood there forever and I didn't wanna be awkward and be in her shot as the other sign "I licked it, so it's mine" would be in view of her mirror pic. Anyway... when she was finally done, I took my pics and left. Overall, this milkshake was amazing! It was still thick and creamy even by the time I got home. I paid about $9 something for the shake. Pretty expensive, but definitely worth the quality and taste. The shakes also don't have covers and they give you spoons so that you can eat it that way too. First time here. Always pass by this place with people waiting in line. I though at first was just a place to go to eat cereal which is why it was not appealing to me at first until I actually walked in the place and look at their menu. Ordered batch made in Heaven and it was heavenly delicious and satisfying if you're looking for ice cream/nice cold treat for your sweet tooth. I love the idea of cereal mixed into ice cream...who knew it would be a good fit. I love the texture of the milky cup "batch" that we ordered. The only thing was, we had to wait a little while. But that's okay, it was worth it. I strongly recommend this place if you have time and not rushing cause there could be a line and a wait to get your order done. We'll definitely be back to try other flavors...this time I'm getting my own...lol. I would not recommend to share it with your significant other cause it's that good. Got the Beggin for Smores. Did not taste anything like smores and despite the other pictures showing the "fire roasted marshmallows" as actually being toasted mine were not. They also gave me a total of 3 graham cracker bears as topping and a single row of marshmallows around the rim so I didn't feel like I got a lot of value out of my $10 scoop of ice cream. read more

We lined up at 10:45am and they sold out literally within 5 minutes. Here is what we ordered: Fried Chicken, Summer Rolls, Stir-fried Chow Fun (Padsee-ew), Stir-fried Noodle (Pad Thai), Yellow Curry and Mixed Vegetable Stir-fried. For me the big winner was the yellow curry and the Pad Thai, but honestly everything was good. My only disappointment was that there was no soy sauce or other condiments. This place is located in Kapolei which is a quick drive from Ko'Olina. However, if we're ever feeling lazy and hanging out in Ko'Olina, I wouldn't hesitate to Doordash Supa Thai again.
