As a frequent visitor to the Millburn location, I was THRILLED when I learned the Morristown location was opening. But, I was hesitant. "Could a second location be as good as the OG?" As good...and maybe even better?! Millburn Deli knocks it out of the park every time. This is our go-to "we have guests in town, so what do we give them for lunch?" place. I often get a "custom" sandwich, either a CYO or a "no sauce" request, "cheddar instead please!" plea or a "hold the T and O" note and they never get it wrong. Ever. Batting 1000 when cranking out the volume of sandwiches they do is a feat on its own... but the quality is truly the unmatched star. Their chicken cutlets are the best I've had; their bread is fresher than anything I've ever bought; and they continuously find the perfect ratio of ingredients. They always nail the cold-to-hot meats, cheeses and toppings... and you never feel like you could've used a little more of anything. My favorites are of course a CYO sandwich, but also the Jay Ray, Godfadda, and the Mad Max. I would never complain about their food but the service on yesterday left me a little Disturbed. It was obvious that their ordering app had a glitch, which I showed them. It directed my order to Millburn although they could plainly see I started ordering in Morristown. Originally I thought I had made a mistake and was just going to reorder until I went out to the car and tried to order again and realized what happened. Anyway their compensation was to make my sandwich, but at half price of what I already paid and that I should have verified the location again on the next page. So now I would be paying about $22 for a sandwich and bag of chips. I then just tried to place a new reorder and making sure their system did not redirect me again. It did and I verified on the next page. Well now there is no checkout button. Oh well. In addition to that I see a new rewards program that they are launching when I get home. So I also go through the steps of ordering again online and guess what, the glitch is gone. Just wondering how much we made during their system upgrade. I of course expected more after showing them but they could have cared less. They just kept repeating, I'd be glad to make it for for you at 50% more of what you already paid. I love their food but this experience has left me wondering if I'll ever return. read more

Great sandwiches and customer service! I placed a large order for my job of employment off the website and was able to customize items very easily. Everything was delicious. Definitely 5 star status. That being said, I tried calling and was unable to talk to someone. I arrived an hour early to speak to someone face to face and was told there's no landline. First time visiting the Morristown location. My husband and I had two of the vegeterian sandwiches which were fine, a little soggy. My concern was seeing a handful of the workers handling the food and the woman who handed me my order not wearing their masks correctly...noses need to be covered too. read more

It's great to have a new deli come to Morristown and the reputation of Millburn Deli is highly regarded. My wife ordered a turkey grilled cheese sandwich (cheesy and gooey) and it was delicious. The issue came when we were charged. On our initial trip, we were charged $17.99. When I asked for the receipt, the cashier corrected it to just under $11. On a second visit, it was $12.75 because they added a second piece of cheese ($1 per slice). The food I would recommend - just watch the prices. They are very inconsistent. read more

The most amazing sandwiches we ever had. They have a wonderful selection broken down by meat types and you can also build your own. I had The Gobbler, a Thanksgiving meal on a sandwich. I could eat that every day. They also have great dressings. Try an sandwich with their Pesto. Portions are large and the staff is friendly and accommodating. read more

This place really, really deserves 5 stars. I havent had a bad sandwich yet. I feel really conflicted eating here because it's certainly not low-cal, but it's not stopping my husband and I from ordering 1-2 per week. As, for what i'd recommend, i find their steak or vegetarian sandwiches to be the best. Black bull, wild bull, and the perfect 10. On the veg side threes company is SO good. I visited this joint about 3 weeks ago. Tipical (for this area) . The food is mehh. The store itself is nothing to write home about. Prices are Morris County-tastic aka expensive as hell. The people there were ok, but in my opinion also felt a little pretentious. I got the buffalo big bird, asked for no lettuce...got a look from the counter person for that. For almost $16 with tax would have expected a little better, the chicken was a bit chewy. They seem to think that they somehow reinvented the sandwich itself. (lol) ok. read more

Highly recommend the Millburn Deli. The sandwiches and subs are huge and delicious. Was glad I stopped in to try the food. Now I go every week to try something new. I'd say Millburn location is 4 stars, morristown is 3. Quality is just always better at Millburn and they are much quicker and efficient. Overall great sandwiches. I will say I ordered the Buffalo chicken salad and it was really good but Buffalo sauce was way too hot. Not to. be a baby but like WAY too hot. Feel like it doesn't need to be this spicy? What I got compared to what is advertised. I was looking forward to trying this places after hearing great things about it. I was very disappointed though. Although the sandwich was tasty, I had to take everything off of one half and put it on the other to make the sandwich actually substantial. It was just lacking substance and presentation. Absolutely delicious! Their sandwiches & salads are delicious and taste great for pick up & delivery. My only recommendation is that if you get regular bread, to avoid watery toppings as one of the sandwiches only order got a bit soggy bc if the tomatoes and thin bread. The sloppy joe is very good but their potato salad had undercooked potatoes. Place isn't cheap but the sandwich is a good size. If in the mood for a solid sloppy joe, I would come back but if 8n the mood for a sub, Longfellow's is a better choice. read more

Easily the best sandwiches I've ever had. My family used to drive 40 minutes to Millburn just to get their sandwiches! Couldn't be happier that they opened their Morristown location which has an identical menu and is way closer. Super convenient as it's take out only and located right by the train station...easy to grab a meal on the run while commuting! Would recommend to anyone! read more

Kinda disgusting. Ordered from here twice: 1. What's Up Doc on a baguette - weird bitter taste had me wondering if the veggies had gone bad. And who the F wants carrots on a sandwich? 2. The Mutz Sub - menu states it comes with pesto. Well, no not exactly. It comes with a watery pesto aioli. Is this their way of saving money, by watering down the pesto until it's light green watery mayo? The menu clearly states pesto, NOT pesto aioli. My review is strictly based off of the salads. I have had two salads from this location and I was disappointed both times. The salads are tiny and there are way too many onions. I got the Caesar and the Buffalo Chicken and both salads are watery and taste bland. Even with the dressing the salad was terrible. Sandwiches are good for the most part. Poor service. Went to pick order up a bit later than assigned time. They didn't even have our names on the board yet. I was okay to wait but when I asked to exchange my $ note for quarters for parking. A man said he can give them but then a lady came and said theyre not allowed to give change. If you're late on someone's order, you should at least accommodate with a giving them change for the meter. Walked into jungle juice next door and he gave me quarters right away. Great salad. Would give 4.5 stars but no option - so went higher because they deserve it. Got a grilled chicken and kale salad for lunch. I was worried the portion would be small but this was a great size with plenty of chicken. No skimping and well made. Ordered online for takeout and it was ready in 15 min. Pickup was easy. Employees were masked up, clean kitchen, friendly and quality. Only minus was the lemon vinaigrette I got was low on flavor and despite endless shaking never mixed well before pouring. read more
