My husband and I did a baking class here and it was so much fun. I thought the pricing was reasonable for the class and they accommodated our baby during the classes - which was awesome! We brought extra macaroons and had to get coffee and croissants! I wish we could have gotten even more here like the sandwiches and other goodies. Everything is handmade and looks so delicious! Meh. My quiche Lorraine was warmed up but not all the way through. The chopped the cheese and ham so finely that the consistency of the quiche was like ground beef. The raspberry croissant was over stuffed with jam. (I find this true at most of these fancy French bakeries. I find it gross). The ham and cheese croissant was good but very heavy/rich. I wish I had just gotten a plain croissant, but the line was too long to go back in. This place is cute, and there is a lot more for me to try (macaroons! The high reviews are deceiving here. I saw the high rating and went out of my way to stop here, but experienced rude service and sub par food. My brioche was dry and terrible, and the mozzarella, tomato and pesto sandwich was palatable, but that's about it, not what I would have expected given the high ratings. We tried several pastries here and unfortunately I can't recommend it. :( The almond croissant was especially stale though it came highly recommended by the staff. I would suggest skipping this and grabbing a sando down the street (Clean Turkey is phenomenal) at Court Street Grocers. read more

One of the best oatmilk lattes I've ever had! The server was absolutely lovely. She was so kind and helpful!! I wish I could remember her name ugh. The Nutella twist was good, but I'm definitely coming back to try the pistachio croissant. The Pain aux Raisins was delicious too, but I'm not much of a raisin girlie. This review is for Mille-Feuille's baking classes. Today, we learned how to make macarons!! Woo Hoo!! Not only did we learn how to make macarons, we brought home the two dozen macarons that we each made (3 different flavors-chocolate, vanilla & pistachio)! How awesome is that?!?! Ok, I'm all sugared up....let me start from the beginning... I booked 2 spots for their macaron class. If you're interested, book early, as the classes fill up FAST; and each class only has 8 spots. First and foremost, I must mention Vincent, our instructor/French pastry chef, straight from France! He will be at Mille-Feuille until the beginning of August. What a great teacher! He had so much patience, and was so friendly and personable. Might I add...he had a sexy accent, too! hahaha What a pleasure to have Vincent lead this class! Even though making macarons is extremely labor intensive, he made everything so easy! **Don't forget to tip the instructor! The class: we were all given written instructions on how to make the macarons, which we could take home with us. All the ingredients were pre-measured, and waiting for us in their proper mixing bowls/mixers. This made everything so much easier and moved the class along. (Btw, the class is about 2 hrs long). Vincent walked us through each step, giving us helpful tips, and let us have a hands on experience of making the macarons ourselves. We each made 8 macarons in 3 flavors (chocolate, vanilla & pistachio)...at the end of the class, we got to take home all 24 macarons which we made ourselves! In between, we got to sample a variety of macarons which Mille-Feuille offers...outstanding flavors; all perfectly made! What a treat! We were all so excited when class was over, and we got to pack our very own macarons in the Mille-Feuille boxes (see my photos/videos). The macarons can be stored for 1 week only....so you know what that means...I'll be eating macarons all week long!! hahaha NOPE, not sharing...they're mine, all mine!!! hahahaha (evil laugh) Thank you so much, Vincent and Mille-Feuille, and my other classmates, for making this class so much fun! I would definitely take another class in the future....croissants, anyone?!?! :) p.s. I do have one regret: I was so sugared up after class, that I didn't purchase any of their pastries to take home. Best royal cake and jelly macarons we ever had and that is compared to France. Quaint little shop with only a few things to choose from, but what they do have is excellent. The pastry cream in the mille-feuille tasted lumpy at the bakery, but another we had later at home was much better. I ordered 2 short macaron towers from here online for my God Daughter's tea party for pick up in the following days. I got contacted from someone at the bakery thanking me for my order and getting details to confirm pick up time. He also asked me what flavor macarons did I want on the tower. I just asked for assorted so it can be a variety of colors. When I went for pick up, I was about a half an hour early but they still had my order ready. The towers were in an airtight plastic case that was wrapped really good in plastic wrap. I greatly appreciated that since the party wouldn't be for another 2 days. When I opened them up for the party, they were the perfect decoration and treats. Plenty guest asked where I got it from. I was glad that it still tasted soooooo fresh. I was honestly a little scared, as I felt like I got them a little too early. But I had nothing to fear because they were soooo delicious. I usually go to Laduree in soho to get macarons but I'm so glad that at Mille Feuille they are just as delicious. I'm definitely coming back to try more treats! read more

The ham and cheese quiche was warm on the outside but cold on the inside, the matcha had to be the worst matcha latte i've drank, and to top it off both these things were $15. I love coming back to Mille-Feuille Bakery for its macarons! I had so much fun during the macaron baking class, which I took way before the pandemic, and brought home a box of a delicious macarons with a variety of ganache fillings! The small class size allowed everyone to get hands-on experience in the entire baking process and see how Mille-Feuille Bakery makes its macarons. The cafe itself is tiny with only a few seats inside, so I usually take my treats to go. I absolutely LOVE all the macarons and always walk out with a box of macarons whenever I visit. Was really disappointed with the croissants here. After reading all the amazing reviews- my husband, a native Parisian and myself were so excited to get out French patisserie fix. After spending a lot of time in France we may be tough critics but we were really let down. The plain and almond croissants both were not the airy, buttery deliciousness we are used to but instead were quite crunchy on the outside and really didn't taste fresh at all. The almond croissants seemed to have some kind of lemon Madeleine baked into the sides like they were made on the same baking sheet and ran into each other.
