I've been to this Miller's location many times now. My in-laws like to dine here with us whenever they don't feel like cooking. Food is not bad and service is very good every time I visit! My goal is to try something new every time I visit. Here are some things that I've tried so far: Sports bar nachos: We get this app every time we visit. Decent app and super shareable. Southwest eggrolls: Yumm as well. No complaints. Comes pre-cut already. Mediterranean zingers caesar wrap: This is a new menu item. Solid wrap that comes with fries. Mimi's fiesta bowl w/ shrimp: Delish! You get all your food groups in this dish. Very flavorful and somewhat healthy. Would order again! Cilantro lime chicken: Also another delish healthy option. I got the lime rice and broccoli as my sides (you get to choose 2). Chicken was tender and not dry. Cobb salad: Would order this again too. I love hearty salads with lots of ingredients! A great neighborhood type sports bar with creative cocktails and lively atmosphere to enjoy sports. This large restaurant and bar has multiple large screen TV's, claiming 60+ at both bars and both indoor and outdoor restaurant seating so you won't miss any of the action of all sporting events. I sat in the restaurant to watch the 3rd place World Cup game. I ordered their House Favorites entree, Pork Osso Buco. My first reaction when the dish arrived was that the pork shank was overcooked. It had a dry rub marinate that gets overly crisp, but the meat itself was relatively tender and fell off the bone. It actually was much better than it looked. I guess I am not use to osso buco served dry with no sauce. The mashed potatoes with gravy was average and the green beans were blanched too short of a time that they were served almost raw. Service was good for a busy place and prices overall were reasonable. Portions are fairly generous. Miller's Ale House is a great place to meet, drink, and watch a game. As far as entrees, though, the food quality and preparation are as expected for a casual chain sports restaurant. read more

I order from this Millers Ale house quite often. Today we tried the Meatball Sub and Prime Burger. The meatball sub was not good at all. I can't begin to describe the sauce, it was terrible. There was to be melted mozzarella cheese, none. Ordered mashed potatoes, they were pretty good. Won't recommend. The Prime Burger was cooked the way I asked, but, no prime shaved beef on burger. The potato chips were good. If you are dining at the restaurant you have recourse for your food, carry out none. So at this time I don't recommend dining at the Millers Ale, Norridge. read more

Never gave us plates for our appetizers! Never took our old glasses and plates off table before bringing out more. First time there and definitely will not go back. So I have been here many times before a movie and it is pretty hit or miss. The staff overall are really friendly and attentive. The bar does seem to take longer than I would like to get a drink. Although their coconut strawberry mojito is AMAZING!! Last time I was there the chicken on my pasta was either bad or undercooked as it had that rubber squeaky texture. I did alert the server about it. The quesadillas were good. They ask you how you want your burger cooked but it will always be well done. I also wouldn't order a salad again as it is very sad lettuce but the mashed potatoes and gravy are very good. They have really nice outside seating that has heaters and as a sports bar lots and lots of TV's. Many seats are high tops so if you want a lower seat you should request one. I wouldn't even a leave one star. We literally just walked out 20 minutes ago. Got seated in the loud bar area with a child. Asked to be moved and the host said, there are TV's on the other side and it was loud, too. We decided to move to the other side. The other host sat us. We sat there 15 minutes without a server to greet us or even give us water. We tried to order through the device on the table but it said we had to wait for a server. I've been coming very often here and I am satisfied with the prices, service (especially Jacky and Megan who I ask specifically for), food and ambiance. There have been times different servers are slow or don't come back for a long time, true, even though it is not busy on off-hours I come. At night when I come around 8 pm it is bustling but food is always consistent and it is easy to get my server if I can't find her/him. Prime Rib, burger, fish and chips and steak sandwich are always what I expect in quality. Their baked potatoes are always fresh and the butter on them smoothy and true-unlike many places I go to which use reheated potatoes and no-taste butter. I like how I can substitute for any side, so I choose the vegetables which are always cooked perfectly. I don't live in the immediate area of this restaurant but my friends and I had gone to a movie at the nearby theater and decided to go here for a bite afterwards. Our waitress , I belief her name was Nadia, but I'm not positive, was awesome. Energetic and very friendly! All the other staff I came in contact with was so nice too. We got a table in the bar area and while we weren't directly at the bar, I could see the bar tender and he seemed very engaging with all the customers seated there. It was later at night so we didn't want full meals and split a dessert and had drinks. My friend did not like her house margarita at all but at 5$ she didn't make a big deal. I also didn't the my Aprol spritz was anything out of the ordinary, but it wasn't bad.. the donut holes we split were delicious! They were so much better and fresher than a munchkin and tasted similar to the donuts I've had at Greek festivals/restaurants. I loved both the chocolate and caramel dipping sauce and being served warm was an added bonus. I live about twenty five minutes away from here so I wouldn't come here frequently, but if I was in the area for a movie again, I'd definitely suggest this place just for the great wait staff and be curious to try other items on their menu as well. read more

Stopped by for a quick business meeting. Loved everything on the menu, or Waitstaff was professional and attentive. The venue was quite pleasant and the tv screens were very visible, so I could catch the various activities being displayed. Noise level as acceptable, so we could continue our conversation. We had ordered: Prime Rib, Fish & Chips, Steak, and Two of us , myself included, ordered the French Onion Soup with a Caesar Salad. Quite delicious. The food is average at best. Please stay away from their spinach & artichoke dip; less than underwhelming and should be abolished off the menu entirely. Service was good. The rest of the food was just okay at best. A step below longhorn or to that of outback. We tried what their classic staples off the menu were: zinger mac and cheese and their blackened chicken and shrimp salad. MEH! Our daughter ordered the dish with fries, their chicken zingers, teriyaki sauce and cheese and her choice of sauce; she chose Ranch and she liked it. I ordered the chicken parmesan with fettuccine Alfredo. It was a big chicken breast, a bit heavy on the sauce, but tasty. The fettuccine was tasty also except the Alfredo was inconsistent; some noodles had sauce and some were like plain buttered noodles. I stirred them up and they were ok. You could just tell that the kitchen was in a hurry. But the real issue was with my husband's nacho dish. It was terrible. Barely any chicken, old, brown guacamole, and the queso was watery. Just terrible. Our server offered something else, but he said no. He was kind enough to inform the manager who really tried to Rectify the situation. She ended up taking it off our bill, which was acceptable to us. I think we would return, just trying other things. read more
