We came in here last Wednesday for dinner on whim because I never really care for sports bars type places (nothing against them just not my thing). While I don't care for the atmosphere or the gimmick of a sports theme I did enjoy the drinks and the food. We ordered the 2 for 1 Miller lights, chicken nachos and the southwest egg rolls. The beer was perfect and cold, the nachos were HUGE and delicious. The southwestern egg rolls were great and pretty interesting. I've only ever had them at a chili's so I was expecting something similar, and they were, but they were better here. They were longer and didn't come off as something we could pick up at Publix in our freezer section which I enjoyed because it felt like something that was made to order. Went here last night and it was not the best. Normally the service is fairly quick and staff is pretty friendly. Asked for a booth when I walked in and sat behind the bar. Nice seats. Waitress took forever to come to table. I had the whole order ready by the time she came. I asked for water and was going to continue my order but she just left. Which was fine but it also took her 8mim to bring just water. Basically the timing all night was horrible. There weren't even that many people there. I believe it was just my section because everyone else was being served very quickly. I love to tip big because they deserve it. I did not tip big and I doubt I'll ever come back to this establishment. read more

Stopped on the way home from Georgia at this ale house. We always get the zinger mountain melt. We ask for the zingers to be dry with sauce on the side and extra cheese and bacon. It came just like we ordered. The cheese however was not cooked all the way through. I'm shaking I'm so angry. We just walked out for being humiliated by the "manager" Rose. I doubt very seriously she is more than a shift manager, because no invested employee would ever treat a guest this way. We had a business lunch scheduled with 7 of us, to discuss the next 6 months goals. Our last guest (a DOCTOR here in ocala) walked in, saw us at the table and walked on over. She was not wearing a mask. This SHREW Rose chases her to our table, and begins to berate her for being in the store without a mask, and threatens her "We will not serve you if you refuse a mask". Now bear in mind, the doctor is already at the table, where OBVIOUSLY no one is required to wear a mask. I asked Rose what exactly she was asking us to do? I mean did she want my friend to at this point leave (without a mask) and retrieve her mask from the car and then walk back in to satisfy Rose's need to feel in control of her situation? It is important for me to help you understand that this is not WHAT she said, its HOW she said it, and that this is not a mask/no mask rant. I don't mind being asked to wear one, what I DO mind is the nasty tone Rose took, and the sheer venom in her voice speaking to us. I mean, Rose was obviously MAD! This whole situation could have been resolve with a simple comment - "Ma'am, it is our policy that all patrons wear a mask. I see you don't have one on, here is a disposable mask, if you need to get up from your table, please wear this when up and about?" Simple right? Instead, we were treated like garbage to the point where our table of 7 agreed to get up and walk the 50 yards to Longhorn where we were treated with respect and appreciation. We came in with a very large group. They said they could not reserve a table because they already had another large group. But we came and took our chances and were actually seated pretty quickly. Not sure what was going on because there were a lot of people waiting, but there were tons of empty tables. Our food was very good, but came out a bit unevenly - which you kind of expect with a large group. But the young lady waiting on us - wish I knew her name - was just hopping. First, she quickly all by herself rearranged three big tables to seat us together.She got all the orders quickly, kept the glasses filled and was as cheerful as could be the entire time. And if you want to watch a game of some kind, this is the place to be. Amber B. was our waitress and couldn't even get our drink orders right. We had to mainly rely on the bartender for alcohol beverages as well as waters and sodas. Amber B not only skipped people when ordering, but also got many orders wrong. When confronted about the wrong orders, Amber B was very persistent it "was not her fault". And felt the need to tell her fellow coworkers how rude our party was to her when we were actually very kind considering the amount of mess up she made. However, we were very thankful for the one waitress who took the time to actually figure out what was wrong and who didn't get food instead of blaming and eye rolling. I come here often and I have never been disappointed. Food and service are always amazing and tonight was no exception. Stopped by and had dinner with a few friends and had a great experience. My server was Issac and he was very friendly and helpful. Super attentive and all of our food came out right. Isaac recommended I try the special tonight which was a Sirloin with Coconut Shrimp and I chose broccoli and a baked potato for my sides. The steak was cooked exactly how I asked and everything was delicious and we never had to ask for a refill, he was on top of everything! Will be back again soon for sure! read more
