We came here on a weekday afternoon and there was already a 15-minute wait to be seated. We ordered the chicken and waffle salad, the grits, the pimento cheese and crackers and the avocado toast. Everything was pretty standard and there was not something that we absolutely loved. The grits were a heavier dish while the avocado on the toast was more like a spread. The chicken and waffle salad had waffle "croutons" but it kind of just tasted like an older waffle dried up. The chicken in the salad was a little thicker than it should have been. The pimento cheese and crackers were very tasty. The ambiance is fast casual and it is very hush there. Our server Hamilton was very kind and helpful.
I loved this place! The atmosphere is very friendly and modern. The service was excellent! The selection of menu items leaves nothing to be desired! The food was great! I will be back!!
Truly amazing breakfast experience. Food is awesome. Drinks are delicious. Staff is super friendly and service was very quick. Good for any size group. They have high chairs. Typical Charleston street parking. Place is busy but fast. We will definitely put this place on our regular visit list when we are in Charleston.
Excellent meal! Came to Charleston for an incredible foodie experience, and this BRUNCH did not disappoint! Patatas bravas and the cinnamon roll were 100% worth!!!! Service from Lucy was excellent! Very cute old pharmacy decor.
Miller's All Day was fantastic from start to finish. We ordered the Blueberry Pancake Latte, the cinnamon roll, and the Hot Honey Chicken Bacon Egg & Cheese, and every single item was outstanding. The cinnamon roll was huge. We split it among four people and still had plenty to go around. The Blueberry Pancake Latte was creative without being overly sweet, and the Hot Honey Chicken Bacon Egg & Cheese was easily one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in Charleston. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made an already great experience even better. The only thing to keep in mind is the wait. This place is popular for a reason, so expect at least a 45 minute wait during busy times. It's worth it, but plan accordingly.
We went to Millers All Day on a recommendation from our hotel concierge and Yelp. The place is very cute giving old school diner vibes! The food is good and service is a bit slow but nothing that stands out as an exceptional experience. My husband's biscuits and gravy did not come out of the kitchen until we were almost done eating what is pictured here.
Stop by for the pastries. I got the monster cookie, which is gluten-free. I'd give it a 4 out of 5. I had the chocolate chunk cookie, which I would give a 3.5 out of 5. The chocolate chunk cookie, even though it's soft, is not packed with flavor. It is just missing something flavor-wise, while the monster cookie is full of flavor. It is really soft, and it goes against the myth that gluten-free cookies are like bricks. The staff was super nice, easy to get in, grab our pastries, and be on our way.
I was part of a party of 3 that came here for breakfast on a Sunday a little after 9:30am. They do not have an online waitlist, so we had to go in-person and hope for the best with the wait. We were quoted about 25 minutes for the wait. The hostess took my phone number down and said she would text me to let me know when our table was ready. Since this location is in downtown Charleston, it was easy to wander around outside and keep ourselves entertained until I got the text that our table was about to be ready and we had 10 minutes to check in. Once I checked in, we were seated immediately and told to scan the QR code at the table to see the menu. A few minutes later, our server came by and asked if we wanted coffee or other drinks. After she came back with drinks, she took our order. I got the cornmeal pancakes. They are made of cornmeal so they had a different taste than what I was used to with pancakes. It wasn't a bad taste. They tasted like a combo of sweet, but also savory. They also felt very light so I didn't feel overstuffed after eating them. Because of how busy they are, they got us in and out in less than 40 minutes. There are signs at the table to not stay longer than 90 minutes, but this was no problem here. Just something to keep in mind to not hang around if you're done with your meal and you see a giant wait outside. As we were leaving, other people were being quoted about a 45+ minute wait. Since it's in downtown Charleston, there is no dedicated parking lot. However, there is street parking available nearby. As someone that cannot parallel park, I went the safe route and parked in a parking garage that was close by. I paid $4 for that. Overall, great breakfast place and quick service!
We visited Charleston for the weekend and our last meal was at Millers All Day. They unfortunately do not take reservations so we got there early in hopes that the wait wouldn't be too long. We were quoted an hour when we put our name in, then got a text update saying it would be up to 1.5hrs and we ended up waiting almost 2. We were all very excited about the lucky charms latte so almost our entire table ordered it, some hot, some cold. It was very visually pleasing but unfortunately taste wise, it wasn't anything special and did not taste like lucky charms aside from the actual marshmallows on top. We ordered a cinnamon bun to share as well as entrees. The cinnamon bun was tasty, it was more of a biscuit like texture, different, but good! We were all thoroughly pleased with our entrees, they ranged from frittata and the okra dish to the king street bowl. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and it was worth the longer than anticipated wait.
Visiting the area and stopped by for lunch. As a vegetarian, there were some good options. I got the okra/tomato/grits dish. It was very good. We got seating at the bar by the window and our waitress was great. She also gave us recommendations of what to do in Charleston when we asked for specifics.
Boujee breakfast! If you're like me and prefer a diner/greasy-spoon type of breakfast, this ain't it! But there is a time & place for everything... My husband and I came in on a Sunday morning and were able to snag counter seats as there was an hour wait for a table. I ordered an espresso martini and the king street bowl as it seemed very "southern" to me with things like grits, pimento cheese and sausage gravy included (I am a transplant from the North). The bowl was just ok; sausage gravy was my favorite part but the rest was kind of bland and mushy. The four (4) home fries that came with it had a very odd flavor that I never tasted before and was not a fan of. Even though I wasn't crazy about my meal, I'm giving 4 stars as you can tell quality ingredients are used and a lot of thought & care is put into menu. Check it out and decide for yourself ;)
We enjoyed this place. A very short 5 min wait after we arrived. While we waited I had a fantastic vanilla latte and the hubs enjoyed his cappuccino. Ordered the cornmeal pancakes and a side of bacon, and that was a fantastic choice. Breakfast set us back about 35$ before tip. Would recommend.
Happened to be in Charleston, SC. Discovered Millers All Day by happen chance. Enjoyed the fried bologna sandwich. It's a filling sandwich with a nice thick bologna piece and a good amount of eggs! The biscuit alone was buttery, light and golden. Also enjoyed the chicken fried steak. It was crunchy on the outside and tender inside. The sausage gravy was spot on and extra gravy was requested! At Millers All Day proportions are more than generous! The staff are friendly and accommodating. A definite gem to Charleston!

Came by on a Saturday - post brunch rush. They were still pretty busy so were added to their waitlist and walked around a bit. Wait time was within what they communicated. Loved our sandwiches and coffee! Recommend the turkey BLT and chicken salad. Both were so yummy. read more

I did expect a larger portion for the price of the waffles. But they were still very tasty, they weren't my first choice however since they were out of the other 2 specials, I chose this. The potatoes my friend had were absolutely fantastic! Definitely make a reservation here if you can, as the people next to us were not very happy about having to sit at the bar, but I don't mind it. The barista is also great, so be sure to grab a coffee while you're here! read more
I've been to Charleston many times now and always heard so much hype about this place. I'm so sad it took me this many trips to try it. It was the best breakfast I've ever had in Charleston, possibly best breakfast in my entire existence. We started with the banana bread and oh my God. It was moist, warm, and flavorful without being too sweet. The icing ROCKED. Highly recommend starting with that! I ordered the Miller's plate, which had the best biscuit ive ever been luckily enough to put into my mouth. The chicken apple sausage and eggs were both cooked perfectly. Don't even get me started on the potatoes! They had the most insane crunch and the delicious flavor of a McDonald's hash brown, but even better. I tried my friend's yogurt bowl, and had no idea yogurt could ever taste so fresh and sensational! Each bite was a ginormous delight here. Our server was also a gem! Miller's all day totally deserves the hype and I cannot recommend trying it enough. read more

Brunch at Millers was top 3 meal in CHS! They do not take reservations - come on a weekday if you can. Otherwise put your name down and walk around ... it's ~10 min to rainbow row. Cute decorated interior ... bright and cheery. Not a huge place, no outdoor seating. They also have 'bar' seating that is first come first serve and you can order from the full menu. Our service was excellent & our waiter was very friendly. Our food came out quickly! Banana bread - really more of a dessert than breakfast-bread. It was delicious, but nothing INSANE. Frittata - huge!!! The grits are cooked into it, so don't expect a side of grits. Plenty of veggies cooked into it, and plenty of butter on top... The whipped feta was amazing. Miller's breakfast plate - a must. Eggs and bacon were average, but the potatoes and biscuit are really showstoppers. The biscuit is MASSIVE and the best we had in CHS. It comes with strawberry butter which is a unique touch. The potatoes are INCREDIBLE!!! SO super crispy and perfectly salty. I dipped them in the whipped feta... Get the French toast sticks. They were so delicious. The corn meal pancakes were amazing and were thoroughly enjoyed. I wasn't a fan of the avocado toast, it wasn't what I was expecting. My husband had the sausage biscuit and gravy with fried chicken and goodness that was yummy. All in all it was a good experience and we would go back. the line was out the door, so i already knew it was going to be a good place to eat. But we had no reservation, but i decided to ask if there were any seats at the bar and we were soon ordering our food ! (that's my little tip of the day) i ordered the avocado toast with no peppers and house fries on the side. the avocado toast was so good and the potatoes were crispy. the only thing was that the plate was basically covered in the salad and the side sauce was not that good. but overall, such a cute place. read more

I was told that brunch at Miller's All Day is actually a requirement when visiting Charleston, and I can see why now. Prepare for a loooong wait if you get there during peak brunch hours on the weekend as they do not take reservations (my party had to wait until over 45 minutes on a Friday morning). Luckily there's a bar in the back you can hang out at and have drinks while waiting for your table. Their Bloody Mary's are on point (pickled okra!!!) and I had at least two of them while I was there. For food, you absolutely have to order their cinnamon roll to start. It's enough to feed three people and it's gigantic with a nice crust with a huge dollop of cream cheese icing on top. Just get it and share it, you'll thank me later. For the mains, my table got a variety of items, including the shrimp and grits, a hot honey BEC, the "steak" and eggs, and the Millers breakfast plate. I think my favorite was the "steak" and eggs plus the grits. All the food was great, but dang it was super heavy and rich. You'll either need to take a long walk after this meal to stay awake or hunker down for a nap, there is no in between. The service was very attentive and the drinks kept flowing. They also have an indoor shop area filled with t-shirts, koozis, pajamas and even grits for all your souvenir needs. MAD is a must while visiting downtown and conveniently located on Kings Street so you'll come across it no matter what during your stay! read more

Honestly had a pretty rough experience here. We put our names in and while we waited, got hit with a pretty bad downpour. When we came back to head to our table, the host loudly went "oh my god your HAIR" very rudely, as if she couldn't see it was pouring outside. We then had a waiter who clearly has never ate off the menu in his entire life. We tried to ask him for drink or brunch preferences, and he said "um I only drink beer and I've only had a waffle." Wonderful. Whole the food was pretty decent, we planned on sharing a dessert before leaving, but were instead hit with a check and our plates cleared away before we could even finish our food. Since we ordered right away, we were confused. Even with a rush time time-limit, this was incredibly fast. Safe to say I will not be coming back, but the patatas bravas with brisket was decent and there is a photo booth. read more

Trendy diner vibe with a photo booth while you wait. Waitress was friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu and recommendations. The patatas bravas was flavorful, but could have definitely used more of the special sauce, it ate a little dry. Great flaky homemade biscuit. We got the Corned Beef Hash, King Street Bowl, and Hot Honey Chicken B.E.C. My friend got the Vanilla Latte but when she got it, did not taste like any vanilla was in it so the server gave her a side of vanilla. My husband got the Nitro Cold Brew and he liked it. My husband and friend seemed to enjoy their food. My burger was too sweet. I wish I had gotten another dish. It was just too much. Overall would love to try this place again when I come visit to try something else. Their other food looked delicious. read more

Stopped in on a busy Sunday. Wait time was told to be 20 minutes. Took our phone number and instantly received a text that we were on the wait list. Sat outside the restaurant with a friend taking in the beautiful city. Less than 20 min later we received a text that our table was ready. Went in and were immediately greeted and seated. Our waitress Connie was a true sweetheart. Took our drink order (espresso flight) and let us know one of the items was out but they would replace it with a different option. Shared a biscuit and the frittata. Both were excellent and the servings were massive! A cinnamon roll went by and I will have dreams of that. Must return. Sever was a delight and never rushed us. I ducked in here for a coffee to escape the pouring rain and was instantly charmed by the ambiance! This spot is full of cool touches, from a photo booth to a little gift shop area. I grabbed a latte to go while sitting at the bar, so I didn't stay long or try the food this time--but I can't wait to come back for breakfast! read more
Worth the wait. Expect a wait on popular days - you can put your name on waitlist and they will text you when your table is ready. Located on king street so plenty of things to explore while you wait - just need to be back in about 10 minutes from when they text you. Seems very touristy but good food. read more

WOW! If you are looking for a breakfast spot in Charleston... this is the spot!! I would come back and eat here everyday.. I loved my roasted potato's and biscuits. The service was amazing, the lady helped us get recommendations for our visit to Charleston. All of my friends loved this breakfast spot. This is probably gonna be a controversial review, knowing how packed and popular this place is. I went over the weekend, it was a 45 minute wait to get a table. I didn't mind because I knew the demand. Once we got seated we wanted to order the French toast sticks. They were out of this item. We ordered the cinnamon roll to start, they baked it perfectly. You get a huge lump of frosting on top. I ordered a bowl and the biscuits and gravy. What I didn't like about the bowl was it was drenched in gravy, masking the taste of everything else. The quality of the produce they used seemed to vary below par. I ended up only having a few bites and didn't finish the rest. The biscuits and gravy was a little better, still wasn't very fond of this either. I did get a side of fried chicken, which was the highlight of the whole meal. It was full of flavor, this is something that I would eat again. The service is great, our server was very kind. In conclusion, I don't think I would come back here again. read more

Loved Millers all Day during my trip to Charleston. Such a cute ambiance! It's a casual restaurant but still trendy - their merchandise is even cute! I grabbed a matchbook for my collection. Service is friendly and attentive. I loved their dirty chai and thought their fritatta was so great - loaded with veggies and flavorful and incredibly generous portion. Their cinammon roll isn't the most traditional - I believe made with biscuit dough but I loved it still but its incredibly large - plan on sharing! Would love to come by next time I'm around to check out. read more

We walked in and it was a 45 min wait so we left and came back. Snagged a booth and Prajsna took great care of us. It was very lively and busy in there which I expected because they are always busy. Prajsna was very knowledgeable and made several recommendations for all of us. I thought the gin cocktail flight was super cute and very cool. the fresh honeycomb and cute garnishes was a great touch! My friend had chicken and waffles for the first time and loved it, the Bloody Mary flight was a cool experience for them too. They really loved 2 of the 3, the bourbon one was very strong and they didn't love that one as much. I had the mad patatas bravas, overall I liked it but I would've enjoyed a fried egg instead so I could have the runny yolk. (I'm sure I could've asked) It was pretty straight forward and the salsa I asked for helped bc the dish was a little dry but I still enjoyed it. Overall it was a nice brunch experience and lived up to the hype! read more
Love this brunch spot! They didn't take reservations so the first time our group came it was too busy of a wait so we came back another day. We are so glad that we did! We for the hot honey chicken B. E. C. and that was so flavorful and crispy. Field Pea Panzanella was SO refreshing and good!! I absolutely loved the vinaigrette they used. This is a must get! If you want something sweet to finish your meal with, banana bread is a great option! It has chocolate and hazelnut cream cheese. Great for sharing too! Food was excellent and there is also a full service bar towards the back of the restaurant. Highly recommend the banana bread! Expect to wait about 30 min to one hour for a table, but it's worth it! read more
