Love Milly's! We found out about this spot recently and had to try it. Logged on and ordered a cheese pizza and a sausage pizza. Both were completely delicious and the sausage was excellent. Just the right amount of sauce and toppings on both pizzas. Pickup was easy and straightforward - though parking can sometimes be a bit hard right in the area. Those working there (owners? Not sure) we're super nice. Very friendly. There's not much in the way of ambiance - this is a pickup spot but it is clean and not crowded due to the way they space out their orders. This isn't your typical pizza place. You can only order a pizza if they are not sold out for the day. You can order online starting at 8am. Your pizza will be ready for the time you choose. If the venue looks familiar, it's in the former Gina's Italian Ice shop that was there for decades. Still on the wall is a reminder of the building's history. Also on the wall is a picture of Burt's Place, which I believe had a similar crispy cheese border crust. This is not a sit down place, though...more of a pick up place. Very simple. But the venue is not the draw....the pizza is. I'm sure many will wax poetic about the cheesy border(which is great), but for me, the best part of the pizza is the crust. I'm a baker, and have baked many a from-scratch pizza. I wish I could produce a crust as perfect as Millie's! I also liked the sauce, which is not sweet, as some are. The sausage is admirable. Friendly staff when I came in for my order. We tried two different pizzas. The crust is buttery and delicious. There are several toppings on each pizza so every bite is slightly different. I liked the pepperoni slightly more than the sausage. Next time I order, I would try fewer ingredients as I preferred the bites with just one or two toppings. They are filling, we ordered way too much. The only I thing I didn't like was that even though I got there at the set time, my pizza wasn't hot when I got home. I live less than 10 minutes away. I had heard a lot about how fantastic this pizza is but hesitated because of the price. I had friends over so I splurged. The toppings are scant. The pizza is fabulous, but their customer service and ordering system is seriously flawed-/ not what I'm looking for when ordering pizza (for example, there is no email confirmation of an order even though you're encouraged to order online. I saved them from sending the same order twice because I double checked. No accountability on their part. Instead, " this is how we've always done it" is the response provided. ) I have never encountered an online ordering system that does not provide a confirmation. They believe they are worth their rigidity and inconvenience. To me, nothing is worth enduring insufferable arrogance. Somebody else will come along and do it better and be more gracious. read more
