It makes me SO happy to find a little dive burger joint that actually serves delicious tasting burgers!! I came with a party of 5 and we all loved our burgers, the fries, and tater tots. The pretty good: The burger meat was tasty and good price. Unfortunately, the patty was not so big and the bread dwarfed it. Removing half the bun helped a lot. It was also pretty good that it was ready pretty fast. The mint chocolate cookie milkshake was VERY good. It was thick and had lots of mint and chocolate bits. The French fries were perhaps the best I've ever had!!! I can't explain it but there were large potato slices that kind of curled and the edges were crispy and the potato itself was very great tasting with perfect texture!!!!!!!!!! Very confused about the hype. I got a cheeseburger ($5.25), without the ketchup and mustard. It was very average. My husband got the cheeseburger with the ketchup and mustard and the taste was overtaken by the condiments. Some of the fries ($2.75) were good and crunchy, others soggy. The Oreo milkshake ($5) was the best part. I wouldn't recommend, except for maybe a milkshake. Small parking lot. Order at the counter and they call your number. Picnic benches outside. Great cheeseburgers and shakes. I had a double that was juicy, flavorful and cooked perfectly. The pineapple milkshake has chunks of pineapple and creamy ice cream. A local favorite since 1954. BEST in MOAB! read more

What happened? This place is no longer bueno. Frozen patties, weird ear shaped fries with no seasoning and soggy. I had the Cowboy Burger. It was "meh". The jalapeños were flavor less and they put on only one tiny weenie onion ring. Cheap ketchup packs, no fry sauce. Service was quick and efficient. Fun outdoor seating. read more

Turns out that Moab has a few good food spots, but my favorite of our Arches/Canyonlands trip? Milt's. This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but it runs like a well-oiled machine and the food really hits the spot after some outdoor activities. It's a standard burger and fries joint, but the prices are actually pretty cheap for the quality of food. I love the fact that you can see through the window to watch your order being made, but be warned, your mouth will water throughout the entire process. We ended up getting a couple of burgers and split a side of tater-tots (they were out of fries) and a cookie and cream shake. We heard our number called in a reasonable amount of time and stuffed our faces at a table underneath the tree. It was perfect, really. If we had the time, we definitely would have come back. Wow!! This was incredible. The customer service was impeccable and I felt just like I was at home here. The food was wonderful, I got the hamburger and fries which were so good and very unique. The vanilla milkshake was probably the best one I have ever had. The outdoor seating was so cool and it had such a cool tree in the center. I highly recommend eating here! read more

The burgers: I had the Santa Fe, Fried Egg and Bacon, Mushroom Swiss and onion, double cheeseburger (bonus: patty melt) The buns are so soft and pillowy, the perfect sandwich to the juicy patty and simple yet harmonious toppings. My favorite by far was the Santa Fe burger (the topping of green chillies was perfect) and the double cheeseburger (just so classic). Sides: onion rings, fries, green chillies fries, bbq pulled pork fries Onion rings such a strong highlight, you must get them as a side. Fries also great! I would skip the bbq pulled pork fries, it wasn't bad but didn't really work as well as I expected. This place can get extremely busy but for good reason. I had a Santa Fe burger but switched chipotle mayo to mayo because I don't like conflicting chile flavors. Chipotle always comes second to real green chile. I added tots and a coke float for the full calorie bomb effect. Tasty AF. The people watching is fabulous because all walks of Moab tourist and local life come here. Side-by-side folks, jeep enthusiasts, bike packers and older couples out for a nice evening were all there and sitting outside under the tree the day we visited. I miss this place ! Came here after a long day trip hiking Arches and Canyonlands and the food did not disappoint. We enjoyed the food so much that we came here again the next day for the same exact meal. I ordered the cowboy jalapeno burger and my bf ordered the cheeseburger w/ bacon and fried egg. He liked my burger with jalapenos a lot more, adds more flavor. I liked that the buns are super soft (see photo). I recommend ordering sides with your burgers because the burger is bit on the smaller/flatter side. We got chili cheese fries (they don't skimp on the meat and toppings) and banana oreo milkshake. For the shakes they use real fruit and not syrup. Staff were very accommodating for last minute orders. This used to be so good and we never missed going every time we were in Moab. I don't know what happened but I'm guessing it might be under new ownership. It's just not good anymore. They use frozen hamburger patties and the pickles they use are now a variety of of sweet pickle and they make the whole burger taste horrible. Who puts sweet pickles on a hamburger????? In summary this does not resemble the Milts of old and we'll never be back. It pains me to say this but the burgers are no longer good. read more

Milt's was also recommended to try while in Moab and so glad we came here for lunch. We ordered 2 strawberry shakes, 2 orders of tots, chicken burger and cheeseburger. WOW! The burgers are priced so good (compared to most places $10+). This place was $6.50 per burger and we paid extra for avocado! The size of the burger is huge so I ate half and saved half for later. I placed a phone order to go. Service in and around Moab is pretty spotty esp leaving Canyonlands theres no service for 30 mins driving into downtown Moab. Once I got service, I called. You can also place an order online if you can get good service. I was told it's a 45 min wait which is fine. We drove by and parked under a tree and waited. TONS of people waiting in line to order and pick up. While waiting in the car, a cat was meowing at us. We named her Sky for her beautiful blue eyes. Milt's is one of those local places where you want to visit multiple times because the food is that good. The burgers are fresh and always hit the spot after a day in the National Parks. You'll rub elbows with locals and folks from out of town. The shakes are really good to. The staff are friendly and service is quick. You can see them make your food through the big windows. Yes, the burgers are their signature meal, but I just discovered their brisket fries which is really good, better than their burgers. The meat is well smoked and flavorful. Too bad they don't have a brisket burger because it will beat the other burgers hands down. read more
