    Chicken Katsu

They have a great selection on the menu. Their prices are very reasonable especially being near a college campus. They are generous with the portions and gives free miso soup on order! You also get a discount when paying in cash. The food was great. I loved the Mongolian Beef the most since it had so much flavor and was tender. I'd eat the sushi again for a quick snack. The chicken katsu comes with sauce as well which was good. The people who work there are very friendly. They checked in on us often and served are food fast. The place is small with a few tables but when we were there, there was a lot more people picking up food. I really hope more people try out this place, they're location is somewhat hidden!

Now that Chop Asian Kitchen has pivoted from their Hawaiian fusion mix to a more Chinese food focused restaurant, they have improved drastically. I tried out the beef noodle soup and the pork meat pies. Both were incredibly delicious. The broth from the beef noodle soup was a bit salty; however, it was very flavorful and had good beef flavor. The man who served us was very nice and the overall interior is clean. Highly recommend this restaurant for a cheap, solid eat. I look forward to coming again and trying their other food items! I attached their new menu.

First time here, menu looked delicious . I was excited to try the food. My complaint is what's the point of having a non human way to order (kiosk) if it's not getting the order to the cook. I patiently waited 10 minutes before I had to ask where is my order? The cook had no clue that I had submitted my order.! Yes, he was the only person in the restaurant at the time , still no excuse . Orange chicken not very good. CA rolls basic Not sure if I'll come back

This place isn't Chop Asian Kitchen anymore and now called Chop Noodle Kitchen. It's very different from when it was an asian fusion place. Now it's Chinese food with a variety of options with a good portion size and budget friendly for students. It's run by an elderly Chinese couple who don't speak English very well, but there's a kiosk to order so the language barrier isn't an issue. I always order to dumplings because both the wrapping and filling are made fresh in house.

Small bbq beef, already are some

Chicken katsu was good, crunchy but juicy. At 10.99 it was decent value compared to other places nearby. Barbeque beef was a bit chewy but tasted good. Service was timely and the cook got our order the moment we made it on the kiosk. For 3 plates we waited around 10minutes Ambiance was quiet ,no music playing but we did come at night and Togo. This place seems like decent food with good value and fast service targeted towards college students.

    Undercooked galbi

Weird mishmash menu. Halfway through this meal, I've stopped eating to write this review. Ordered to go. $13 for rice, 3 long sticks of galbi, and the worst/weirdest tasting macaroni salad I ever had. There's nothing in the mac salad except the mac. Steamed vegetables were 4 broccoli florets. Never ordering from here ever again. I told my husband this was the worst meal I've ever had & he wasted $13 on me. Also, the galbi is still RED???? Can't chew & swallow it so I spit it out & the flavor or marinade is weird. Don't go here.

Food is very mediocre and the mac was pretty bad

Food was pretty bad. The mac was the worse mac I've ever had. This was ordered off uber eats.

The $9.99 orange chicken (which is incredible)

The lighting is also mild in a good way as it's not too bright nor too dark. You have a great view of the open kitchen regardless of where you're seated. Parking - Plenty of parking in a huge lot. Parking lot is shared with a shopping center next door, plentiful of parking. After browsing their HUGE menu, we ordered the Mango Special Roll, Rainbow Battera, and CHIRASHI, all to share. All the ordered items basically came out at the same time. It was about a 10 minute wait which is not bad at all. The Mango Special Roll is definitely the star of the show. The variation of mango sweetness along with the cream cheese + Outer layer of Salmon is just perfect. My wife and I loved it so much that we're gonna make this at home at some point. 10/10 recommend to order this. The Rainbow Battera is a plate of pressed sushi, 6pc of pressed sushi rolls presented very neatly and is basically a mix of each fish in a roll. Each roll is different so take your pick of roll to eat. A unique take to sushi rolls but highly recommend. Fish contains Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail, Albacore, Ebi Shrimp, Shiso Leaf, and Bonito. The CHIRASHI consist of 12 delicious pcs of 6 kinds of sashimi, ikura, masago, shrimp, tamago & seaweed salad on top of sushi rice. It was very flavorful and definitely a shareable dish. I was impressed with the variation of sweet + salty flavors. Overall, a great conclusion to our evening dinner. I loved each sushi plate and their extensive menu. Definitely coming back in the future to try other items like their ramen and udon bowls.

They give very generous portions which is enough for two meals especially if the combination plate is ordered, which I usually get the B one. The reason I take off one star is because if a credit card is used, the customer and not the restaurant must bear the 3 percent cost. I know many service businesses do this now like hair and nails but I do not encounter it much with food. This is my only issue.

Huge thank you to Yumi, who was an absolute angel and made us feel so welcome (like we were her grandchildren and wanted us to stay). The food was genuinely great quality and the portions were way more filling than expected. At first, I thought we hadn't ordered enough and i was mentally prepared to order more... but by the end, we were so full. Truly a lovely experience. They also give you complimentary edamame and cucumber salad, which was such a nice little bonus before the main event. One of my friends ordered the chirashi bowl and it looked like a bouquet of all kinds of fish. We also got the chef's assorted sashimi (amazing assortment) the ankimo special (SO good), and the 4 piece hand roll special (could probably skip this one and save stomach space). For nigiri, we ordered uni, toro, tai, and yellowtail (all amazing.) The uni was especially creamy and delicious. The salmon belly was mesmerizing, the yellowtail belly melts in your mouth and did I mention the ankimo? We also ordered a fish only tempura, and they even gave us our own tempura dipping sauce. It's the small details like that that really make a difference. 10/10, come hungry, leave very full and slightly emotionally attached.

I feel like the service used to be a lot better and now there just seems to be more staff turnover, so whenever I come every few months, there are always new faces, with the exception of the two managers/supervisors. The food is good and sushi always tastes fresh. They use a fairly minimal amount of rice on the nigiri, which is a plus, so I can eat more of the fish...hahaha! One of their best things is the baked mussels and to date, they are still at the top of the list compared to all other sushi spots I've been to (and there have been A LOT). They are almost always busy, (unless you come during odd hours between lunch and dinner) so be prepared for a wait. And if you do come during the busy hours, it can get a bit noisy in here, but I don't mind this at all; it just means everyone is enjoying themselves, and I'm all for people being out and socializing. (Get outta the house and off those phones!) Overall, a reliably good sushi spot, if you don't mind 'just okay' service.

I was also confused about why they offer a regular menu if they're going to push everyone to do the all-you-can-eat option. I was fine doing all-you-can-eat for the adults, but I asked if I could order bento boxes for my kids and was told no, they also had to do all-you-can-eat. It just doesn't make sense or feel worth it for a 5-year-old who is barely going to eat enough to justify the price. Overall, the long wait and lack of flexibility made the experience disappointing.

BROILED SALMON & MIXED TEMPURA BENTO BOX: I ordered this to go and it came with a scoop of rice, 4 spicy tuna cut rolls (used to be 6), a small clump of salad, tempura (came without the tempura sauce), miso soup, and the saddest/hardest clump of fried/broiled salmon (came with side of teriyaki sauce). The portion has SIGNIFICANTLY shrunk especially for the salmon. The salmon was basically the size of the sauce dish container...I finished it in 2-3 bites. Due to this, I will sadly not be returning.

Before we even ordered, they quickly brought out complimentary salad, miso soup, and steamed edamame. What a nice surprise! Uni Rice Bowl was listed as market price but was very reasonably priced . It had about 4-5 pieces of uni, served in a very presentable sea urchin shell. It was light and very good. I can never pass up uni when it's on the menu! We also ordered some rolls, a variety of sushi , and toro sashimi. They do prepare sushi with a lot of rice, but I loved that they generously portion with large pieces of fish along with it. The fish was fresh and were great quality. Oh and free yummy green tea icecream to end our meal too!

The rolls are stuffed so big that they can barely fit in your mouth, the fish is incredibly fresh, and the variety is top notch. Some of our favorites include... the sunset, 4 corner, the crunch hand roll, the Cajun yellowtail, the samurai , and the salmon belly. Holy cow the 4 corner roll is our new favorite! What the heck the magical seared Cajun salmon literally melts in your mouth. And because it's Cajun it has those smoky flavors that mesh so well with the sauces. Our eyes were rolling to the back of our heads with this one. Sunset is our go to. Salmon outside and crab inside. Perfection and the bite size portions are huge! The crunch roll was ginormous!!! So good! I was craving a shrimp tempura roll but wanted the nori so this hit the spot. It had shrimp tempura, avocado, and an overflowing amount of crab! We loved the 4 corner roll so much, our server recommend the Cajun yellowtail nigiri.... Insane. The samurai was really good too. Shrimp tempura, crab, and avocado inside and spicy tuna and fried eel outside. The salmon belly was crazy good. I've never tasted salmon so soft and melty. Asha our server was so so amazing! She brought us the salmon belly on the house, she was patient, kind, attentive, and so friendly :) Please do not hesitate to come here when you are craving some good sushi, great service, and the best ambiance!!!! WILL NOT BE RETURNING. poor food quality and service, but on top of that, terrible management.
