I drove back with the bowl and my receipt, but the employee at the counter insisted those were the correct ingredients. I had to pull up the restaurant's website on my phone and show him the ingredient list before he checked the recipe in the back and had the bowl remade. While the correct bowl was eventually made, the interaction was uncomfortable and dismissive. There was very little communication, and the employee simply handed me the replacement, said "sorry," and walked away. I also tried calling afterward to speak with a manager. I was told the manager would be there at 1:00pm, but when I called again later, they still were not available. Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have had an incorrect order or missing items, so I have gotten into the habit of checking our food before leaving. I am not looking for a refund or anything complimentary. I simply wanted to share this feedback because we genuinely enjoy the food and would love to feel more confident ordering takeout again. A little more consistency and communication when mistakes happen would go a long way.
