I went again on Mother's Day but I did not do the brunch I did the three course meal for Mother's Day 2026. I've always enjoyed this place and I will be back again. The pot roast was superb!!! Before you go make sure you take home two of those huge blueberry muffin or cookie butter muffin!!!

Chicken Pot Pie, and nothing else. $17 and change, don't order this unless you want to go to Mickey D's after, cuz you be still hungry

I am dying...well...I mean craving for some chicken pot pie, and I did some search and found this spot Walking in, this place look like some high end diner, you know, is diner but above Dennys and IHOP. Seated; place look very nice, clean My server look like she just woke up, not very friendly, but is alright, I'm not here for her, I'm here for the chicken pot pie! I think is like $17 and change, which is a little pricey, I think it should be maybe $10.99 or $11.99 max I also added a salad separately, not bad, can't remember the cost Chicken pot pie is above average, better than KFC, but not like I want to go back for it, you know what I mean. Also, as you can see on my photo, is literally just the chicken pot pie, and nothing else, so for $17, no side, at least come with a salad, but...nope. Came with a spoon ‍ That's why I said a little pricey, don't get me wrong, I will pay for whatever, but it must be worth what I'm paying. You know what I mean? After this meal, I gotta go home and cook me some Instant noodle. I probably won't be back since I don't feel what I'm paying is what I'm getting, but still seem like a lot of people like going here. Give it a tried

A delightful brunch. We popped in at 12 on a Sunday. The decor is cute, like a French bistro. We had a quick 20 minute wait. We got our beverages quickly. The menu is massive with lots of variety and a hint of french influence. I ordered a turkey club with fries. Husband got ham and Swiss crepes. The club is giant and fresh. My husband loved his crepes. He did say the potatoes were bland. Service was great. It was efficient and prompt. We will definitely be back.

A friend and I grabbed lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Mimi's parking lot was fairly full. We walked in and we were greeted. There was no wait for our two person party. My friend and I mostly focused on the breakfast section on the menu. I quickly settled on the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. Many other items sounded great but that one sounded the best. My friend ordered the Wildberry Crepes. We also both ordered coffee. My friend got an Iced Peanut Butter Mocha and I got a Cappuccino. The Cappuccino was okay but I would not order if I revisit. My friend enjoyed the PB Mocha. Our food arrived a little while after the coffee. My French Toast was two thick rolls with powdered sugar and maple syrup. The dish was delicious. It is one of my favorite French Toast dishes. Prices were a bit high but not outrageous. Service was solid. Our server was friendly and provided quick service. I would like to visit again and try other dishes, but it will be difficult to top the dish I ordered on this visit.

Nice little restaurant in Polaris. The young lady and our waitress were both very nice and professional. We started with coffee, which was nice and strong, I also tried the Autumn Mimosa which was quite tasty! I ordered the Bacon, Mushroom and Brie omelette. It was packed with mushrooms, onions and spinach, with Brie cheese laid on top with two pieces of bacon. It came with wheat toast and home fries.

My family and I came here for a quick lunch during the week. We got sat immediately and the server was super kind. We ordered the pineapple upside down muffin, the Lorraine quiche based on recommendation, and an omelet but I am not sure which one. I loved my quiche and the potatoes were good but really salty I didn't eat them. We all loved the muffin and my grandma said she didn't love her omelet because whatever the filling was, was too rich for her and it was overwhelming. Overall it was a pleasant experience. She would just order something else in the future.

It's been years since I've eaten here until my most recent visit, last evening. I was pleasantly surprised with the delicious food and the amazing service. It seems like this place doesn't get a ton of traffic especially since it's tucked in a corner in front of the Polaris Mall. If you're looking for a decent meal, no wait or little wait time to be seated, I definitely recommend checking this place out.

Very nice people the owner and his wife came around and welcomed us. We spent our 7th anniversary of marriage here and didn't tell anyone. And it just so happens the very nice waitress offered us some free cup cakes and still happened to bless us. Awesome place

We were expecting something closer to a mimosa, but the drink ended up being much more herbal than we anticipated. We explained what we were looking for, but it was a pretty big switch from what we originally expected. We still ended up drinking it, though! For my entrée, I ordered the steak frites. I was pleasantly surprised by how large the steak was. I requested medium rare, and it came out closer to medium, but it was still flavorful and tasty. Overall, we enjoyed our visit, and the birthday champagne toast and attentive service definitely made the experience feel special. I would come back and give Chouette another try!

The inside is so beautiful and the patio gives a classic French cafe feel, so we definitely felt right at home. My mom wanted to try the Gruyère cheese puffs and WOW, I've ever had anything like them. For our main dish, we both got their mussels and fries which is my favorite meal of all time and it did not disappoint. The fries were slightly mushy but I actually loved them! We finished our dinner with a cappuccino which unfortunately was VERY cream heavy. It left a weird mouth feeling and was very odd. However, overall this was an amazing dining experience!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear why this institution has remained at the top of the city's dining scene for half a century. My partner began with the Escargot and Shiitake Marble Veal Mousse with parsley garlic butter sauce, while I enjoyed the exceptional Mussel Soup with leek chiffonade, saffron cream, and Chablis. Both starters were beautifully prepared and set the tone for the evening. For our second course, my partner selected the Roasted Lake Erie Walleye with dill Chablis sauce, and I chose the Sautéed Florida Red Snapper with Choron vin blanc sauce. Both dishes showcased impeccable technique, fresh ingredients, and elegant presentation. Our third course continued to impress. The Black Truffle Duxelle Stuffed Rabbit Loin with Dijonnaise sauce was rich, flavorful, and perfectly executed, while my Pan-Seared Prime New York Strip Steak with cardamom sauce was cooked flawlessly and absolutely outstanding. We shared the Black Forest Tart with mascarpone chantilly and cherry gel for dessert. The flavors were wonderful, though the tart crust was a bit firmer than expected, making it somewhat difficult to enjoy with only a spoon. Service was polished and professional throughout the evening. Although the restaurant had run out of the bottle of wine we initially selected, the sommelier recommended a comparable bottle from the same AVA that was slightly more expensive and graciously adjusted the price to match our original selection. This was a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflects The Refectory's commitment to hospitality. Our only minor disappointment was the seating location. The booth where we were placed was tucked away from the main dining room and felt a bit tight, making it somewhat less comfortable than we would have preferred. While the secluded setting had its charm, a table or a more spacious booth in the main dining area would have enhanced the overall experience. Overall, it was another memorable dining experience. Exceptional cuisine, refined service, and an atmosphere that continues to set the standard for fine dining in Columbus. It's easy to understand why The Refectory has earned its stellar reputation and why it has thrived for 50 years. Highly recommended and well deserving of its legendary status.

The restaurant is beautiful, and the service is impeccable. The menu today had a list of "smaller dishes". We started with their bread service which is no longer complementary but it's very inexpensive, and the crusty bread is delicious. For starters my wife and I shared the walnut salad and the escargot mushroom mousse. Both were excellent. For dinner, I ordered the snake river sturgeon which was cooked over a light curry sauce -- fantastic. My wife got the lamb chops, which were cooked to perfection. Even though we were pretty stuffed by this time we couldn't not get their famous crème brûlée -- and it did not disappoint! Oh, and both of us really enjoyed our wines! The service made this experience memorable. The gentleman working asked me if it was my first time. He made some recommendations. I liked that the buns are smooshed flat, the meat and cheese heated and melted, and then the additional toppings diced up into smaller pieces. I had about a 20 minute drive that could have made the difference, but once I started eating the sandwich it was good but aa bit chewy. It might have been less chewy if I would have ate it right away. I also ordered the specialty croissant. The staff person asked me if I was okay with the price, it was $8. I appreciated he let me know the price and made sure I still wanted it as it was a bit pricey. The croissant was amazing! This was also a food that was better ate day of. I had it the next morning for breakfast and although it was delicious you could tell it was getting stale already. It was beautifully made.
