    Chorizo burrito with jalapeno
    Luis T.

I had seen this place pop up on Instagram and decided to click on the profile. Then I looked it up and realized this is the same place I used to come to when I was a kid. It had been well over 10+ years since I had been here. They had advertised various items on their Instagram donuts, pastries, drinks ect. Then I saw they had a chorizo breakfast burrito so I had to try it out. So I stopped by this morning before going to work and was greeted when I walked in and it was excellent. The burrito had the right flavor, right spice with a side of green salsa that was good. Def going to have to come back for the burrito and try some of the donuts again.

Amazing place!!! The food was great. The staff was so friendly! The place was clean! I had a great time :) . I'd definitely recommend this place.

It's a steak burger on a raised donut. Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, pickles, grilled onions, grilled bell peppers and cheese. Vietnamese coffee and my steak burger on raised plain donut absolutely delicious

great spot for a quick donut and coffee. ordered a cinnamon twist and a small vanilla iced coffee. donut was super soft and had a nice flavor! vanilla iced coffee was just the way I like it, sweet but not overly sweet. Customer service was 10/10 - great spot and would def come again

Photo doesn't do justice on just how old and yellow this bottle is!

The waiters are really cool, very nice. This place is legit run by Guatemalans which was pretty cool. I recently visited Guatemala so it was fun to chat with the waiter who noticed my shirt (I was coincidentally wearing a shirt I bought in Guatemala with a picture of Tikal lol). Anywaaaay - I tried the trio tostadas, a tamal and a Mayan iced latte. The tostadas were great. They were very fresh. They're very simple. One is black bean, one is avacado and one is chicken salad. My favorite was the chicken salad. I used their green salsa and it was delicious. The tamales was good. Today I learned I don't really like the flavor of banana leaf that gets absorbed into the tamal. Also, it was primarily made of rice. It had a piece of bell pepper, a little chicken and I think a plum. Aside from the banana leaf I liked the tamale. The latte was delicious. Nice coffee flavor and sweetened perfectly. Definite recommend and I will for sure be back.

I really don't enjoy dark, burnt-tasting coffee, and this was clean and well balanced. The staff were polite and professional, and the overall atmosphere felt relaxed. It's located in a residential neighborhood, so the crowd leaned more local and low-key rather than overly trendy, which I appreciated. I also liked the music playlist, though lowering the volume just slightly would make it even better for reading or working. There's a small private parking lot, and street parking in the neighborhood seems manageable as well. The natural light is a major plus for me ... windows on three (or was it four?) sides of this standalone building make the space feel bright and airy. I'll definitely be back for light reading or getting some computer work done.

Their Iced Horchata Latte with sweet cream top was amazing. Not overly sweet and the horchata was good. Sometimes the horchata can be gritty and too much, but I really liked it.

The horchata latte was a standout -- smooth, comforting, and nicely balanced with just the right amount of cinnamon sweetness. Overall, Mobar Coffee is a great spot if you're looking for inventive flavors and something a little outside the box. I'd definitely come back to try more of their specialty drinks.

I have been on a quest to try different coffee spots in my surrounding areas, but this spot may bring me to a halt (lol). I didn't realize this little spot was here until a few weeks ago that my husband and I stopped by the brewery (after many times) to watch a game and have a few drinks. That's when we noticed the coffee bar. Service was friendly and they do have a good selection to choose from. I stopped on a Friday morning for fuel (coffee) before running errands, and went with the strawberry horchata cold foam. I was pleasantly surprised. It was perfect and not overly sweet. I also got a pistachio crescent, warm, and was delicious. I stopped by the following morning, and went with the pumpkin spice chai latte, which was perfect! And pistachio crescent to share with my son, which he ended up taking, despite him not having a sweet tooth for baked goodies like I do. Highly recommend this little spot!!

Update : I guess I had this first part of the review in my drafts and never posted it, but I was shocked to see that it was still there when I went to review it this last time. Nothing's changed except my loss of memory. I got in line at 6:50 in the morning five cars ahead of me. I didn't get to the window until 705 paid for my coffee and then waited another six minutes to where I had to bail and drive to work because I couldn't be late so I was in the drive-through for a total of 21 minutes. Didn't even get my drink and had to bail. I could've made it to work in the time that I was waiting in the drive-through. I just don't understand how you could have an order for 20 minutes and not have it made in that time spent there's nothing going on in the dining room. No one behind me should be having the drinks made make it make sense.
