Let me start by saying, I HATE getting my nails done. Getting my nails done and a pedicure isn't relaxing for me. BUT, Mimi and Kevin here make it enjoyable This is still the only nail place I've been going to for the past (almost) 2 years. Mimi is extremely fast, yet the nails come out looking amazing. Again, it's nothing fancy, they have a whole wall of pedicure chairs which are comfortable and have all the massage features (the chairs are really nice), parking lot can be tight but it is private parking and they do have a little room for waxing If you get long nails like me, you definitely know what I'm talking about when I say finding someone who can give you the perfectly shaped acrylic nail is important. This is were Kevin shines. If you bring in a photo, Kevin and Mimi are amazing at recreating it. They have a huge selection of colors and they are up to date with ALL the trends. I've been getting the same nails for the past few months. I've been rotating between a tan, nude or pink color and pairing it with either a silver glitter cuff or a gold glitter cuff and I am obsessed with how they turn out!!

Was out of town with friends and in need of a pedicure. Decent Salon! Called at 9am for a 10:45 am pedi. Nancy Did a good job removing old gel and shaping my toenails. 5 minute massage with a hot towel. She also did a cute flower for $5 extra. Side note: Try the candy at the register, it's guava! Really good too!

As a podiatrist, a specialist in feet, my daughter and I decided to have a papa daughter night. We chose this place on the reviews. It was Klien Friendly Mimi, and Traece couldn't do enough their expertise. They're handling their design all impeccable. It might not be in the best of neighborhoods, it might not be the fanciest shop, but if you need your hands and feet taken care of by far , I highly recommend this location.

I love this salon! I remember Mimi from her other salon and she is so talented! Her salon is clean, they are on time, and for how detailed my nail designs are, Mimi is very fast! Prices are more than reasonable, Especially for her talent. She also recommends what's best for your nail health. Pedicures are also done well here; clean and thorough and very relaxing. Its my birthday weekend and decided to treat myself and my husband for a well deserved mani/pedi. Kevin was the one who got my nails fixed up. Mind you when I went in, i felt my nails needed some TLC. Kevin cleaned up my toe nail and fixed my ingrown toe nail. Let tell you, it feels so much better. The vibe was excellent. When you're in the area check them out!!!!

I've been coming to this place ever since my daughter recommended it. The prices are extremely reasonable The staff is extremely friendly They have private parking but it does get crowded. They have a huge variety of colors to pick from. They do Gel X nails and acrylic I highly recommend Mimi and Kevin. They are definitely the two best ones here. The one wall is nothing but pedicure chairs. The pedicure chairs are really comfortable and have massage features It's nothing super fancy, but you can't beat Mimi's and Kevin's skills I was driving an hour away just to get my nails done, but the ones here last way longer, cheaper and they do a better job. I've been coming here every single month and will not go to any other place

You have to visit. Great customer service. Definitely in the budget. Mimi creates all art hand drawn . A Nail Spa were every one does an excellent job. Hey get pedicure #4 you'll thank me later!

I don't usually leave reviews unless a place is either amazing or terrible--this place is absolutely AMAZING! I've never felt so comfortable at a nail spa before, let alone been able to genuinely bond with everyone there. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Mimi is truly talented! She's so popular that while I was getting my nails done, her phone kept ringing with people trying to book appointments or see if they could come in right away. It's clear that she's in high demand for a reason! I love my nails, and I can't wait to keep coming back. If you're looking for a nail salon where you'll feel valued and leave with flawless nails, this is the place to go! Although walk ins are welcome, it's better to make an appointment!

Came here about a month ago and I was impressed with my experience, that it brought me back again. This place offers great prices, and as a student this is a major plus. I've tried different salons and have had issues with lifting after week 1, but not this salon. Their gel manicures last a very long (mine lasted 3 weeks, could've lasted longer but I wanted a new set). Never experienced any lifting whatsoever! They also do a great job at nail designs, which I'm very happy about. Additionally, my nails are natural so I appreciate the fact that they are very gentle when sanding/buffing my nails, as to not damage them. They're fast and provide high quality service. The workers are very kind as well! I definitely recommend coming to this place!

The service I requested were the gel nails and they were really nice! they did recommend i get acrylics because my nails were rather short but I opted not to get them and they were able to accommodate my short nails and did their best to replicate my desired nails. It was pretty chill and relaxing in the store. Definitely will be coming back!

This was my first experience at a nail salon since COVID and I was genuinely impressed. I had called about 3 hours ahead of time (give or take) to schedule an appointment for a gel manicure for myself and my pedicure for my boyfriend with no issues. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by Mimi who helped us check in. We waited for about 5 minutes (we got there 10 mins early) as they finished prepping the stations and chairs. Mimi was my nail tech for the evening and I showed her what I wanted and she was able to deliver! It took about 20-30 minutes for my nails to be completed and in that time, Mimi only needed to see the picture once for about 3 minutes. My boyfriend was attended by Helen I believe and he was beyond satisfied with her massaging skills! All in all, the prices seem very reasonable (35 for a pedicure, no polish, and $45 gel nails pictured below) read more

This was my first experience at Mimi's Nails & Spa. I wasn't going to write a review. However, I'm still bothered by my experience. It's hard to find a good nail tech, especially when you are trying out new places. So it's always nice to have some warning who in the salon is good, and what to watch out for. Make sure you get the young woman. I was sitting next to her and she applied the product perfectly, did amazing nail art, all while doing the set quickly. If she is busy, just wait. Everyone seemed to come in for her. I think most of the pictures in the reviews are her work. The regular clients seemed to know the staff and appreciated the services and results of their nail treatments. Pricing is decent. WARNING: If you know nails DO NOT get the man at this shop to do your acrylic nail set. He is nice, but is lazy and sloppy with his work. 1. He did not cut my cuticles or push them back. This is the first thing you need to do to prevent lifting. 2. He did not size the tips correctly to several nails. So the acrylic product didn't fully cover my nail after being applied. 3. He applied the acrylic product sloppy, so it got all over my skin. The product is not suppose to touch your skin. This is how you get allergies. 4. In addition, because he did such a sloppy job, when he was filing, he used the file to shave off the product on my skin. My cuticles were being cut and I began bleeding on several fingers. 5. Lastly, He did a horrible job at shaping the acrylic product. He does not know how to make an apex on the nail, the arch that gives it shape. Moreover, he filed them in a way that made them look warped. when I asked him to refine the unevenness of the product, and blend the cuticle area more naturally to the nail bed HE STARTED RAISING HIS VOICE AND ARGUING WITH ME. He was talking down to me as if I didn't know what I am talking about. The young woman has to take over at this point. However, by this point I felt VERY uncomfortable. This is not a feeling you want to have when you are paying for a service to pamper yourself. The young woman was able to salvage the nails, because it was literally just a little more filing and shaping that needed to be done. However, because he didn't apply the product well, and size the tip's correctly, they turned out sub par. I had to go home and file them again because the product when I uneven. I even put my own jewels on to hide the quality of the nails. I SHOULD HAVE WALKED OUT EARLY ON. I do my own nails and know exactly what to do, and what beginner mistakes to avoid. I am just pregnant right now and it hurts my back to sit long hours and apply product. Also, I don't always listen to my intuition. Have to get better at that! The lessons of the day of are: 1: If you feel uncomfortable at any point of the nail service, speak up and/or just leave. 2: If you get a feeling the nail tech is not going to be good, don't let them touch your nails. 3: If you can see that a certain nail tech does a good job, wait for them to do your nails. 4: Listen to your intuition! read more

MY EXPERIENCE WAS FANTASTIC!!! TL;DR: Kevin did my hands and Amy did my feet. OMG they look great!! It was worth my 40-minute drive to come here!! ------------------------ LONG VERSION: Another salon did my hands last time, and the acrylics looked like they were at least as thick as a quarter, if not thicker. The surfaces were a bit misshapen on some nails, too. I knew I could not go back to that salon! (Sorry, no "before" pics.) I found this salon in Yelp, and all the pictures looked so good and the nails looked so thin (That is what I want)that I decided to try this salon even though it was 40 minutes away from me. I'm super happy with their work!!! Kevin did my hands. Over a month ago, I got Gel X with fake tips, and I thought it was great because there was no lifting. (My nails usually start to lift or chip within ten days.) Kevin said that Gel X is not good because it can damage the nail bed. He filed the super thick acrylics down, then filled them. He said that next time, the tips will be older so they'll be easier to remove. We'll soak everything off# them give me a powder dip. He said the powder dip is the thinnest looking between gel, regular acrylics, or dip. He did a great job on my hands and he's very personable. I highly recommend both Kevin and Amy. There was another lady working, and she had two appointments while I was there. I saw the nails on one client from halfway across the room, and they looked very well done as well. I think her name was Mimi. Needless to say, I will be coming back here!! Amy did my feet. She got out skin from the sides of my big toes without much pain, and she cut the toenails perfectly! I hate it when manicurists cut a big triangle out of the sides of my toenails. It looks un natural and ugly. Amy did not do that! She was gentle yet effective. read more

I have been getting my nails done by Mimi since 2017. She does a great job, she's affordable and she's very good with designs. I like my powder applied very specifically- not too thick and she gets it right and my nails don't break. I was with her at her previous shop and now I have followed her to this second location. Was recommended this new place from a friend. Decided to bring the girlfriend to come and see what's all the fussed was all about! Called and made an appointment then showed up and was service right away. My girlfriend got a full-set and pedicure while I got an mani pedi! Her nails turn out beautiful, wow the tech here did a great job! My pedi was amazing too! Their prices was pretty good too. We both got our hand and feet done and it was less than $200! Amazing. Most definitely would recommend this place. The most amazing thing is they take cash, card and even Apple Pay! Would definitely come back again! Just got me hooked! I absolutely LOVE this nail shop. I'm always hesitant to try new shops but this one is down the street from me so I decided to give it a try. It's absolutely beautiful in there, and the 3 times I went, there was never a wait. The nail techs are super qualified and can do any design or style that I ask for. They did this beautiful pink, orange, and yellow ombre set (I'll attach a picture below) that I was in LOVE with! I am definitely going back and I think anyone that is looking for a new nail shop should check it out too! read more

I would have given this place a zero star if I could. My fault I didn't do my research before coming here. I came her with such nice almond shape nails but came home with a crooked almond shape. I told the lady who did my nails that it wasn't straight when she shaped it but instead she gave me the nails shaver to do it on my own. She was also trying to save nail gel polish because it was so obvious that my original nail color is still showing up after she put 2 coats on my nails, she could have done 3 coats.. read more

I did a last minute walk in and got my nails done by Mimi I am getting married and I showed her a few Google photos for inspiration and just told her purple and white for my wedding and she just started and free handed a design. Since I was also getting my toes done Mimi was saving my time by doing my nails right beside the massage chair as my feet were being done. Mimi works very fast and you can tell who's the boss in the salon without even knowing who Mimi is. My sister also got her nails done by Kevin and her nails look great. Mimi goes around the salon and does finishing line and glitter touches for several clients. I would definitely recommend this salon. My mom loves getting her nails done by Kevin but watching Mimi work is amazing. 10/10 read more

She answered any and all of my questions and provided me with a few donated containers for my purchase. So far, the star of this visit are the scented lotion and hand wash. Can't recall the name. But they are pricier than the other products. I don't care at all. I LOVE the scent. As a matter of fact, I'm going in this weekend for some more of the hand soap. I have it in my bathroom (foaming pump) and my kitchen (regular hand soap pump). I also diluted it to use as a shower gel. YES, doggone it!!! I'm kinda addicted! This is one of those places that you should actually do a personal field trip to. It will change your life. Believe it. Highly, highly recommended! UPDATE: I went back in for more hand soap concentrate and some retinol serum. By the way, soap and lotion brand name is "Further". Alyssa assisted me and she is an absolute DOLL. Let's get real, ever since a bunch of pharmacies shut down (like rite aid) Every CVS and Walgreens…read moreis having to over compensate Since I have chronic pain / repeated procedures / surgeries, it's safe to say this place is my second home lol I've dealt with Tracy a couple times, including inside the Pharmacy (not just the drive thru pickup) after one of my past surgeries a few months ago, She saw me doubled over in pain while trying to get my medication after a bladder surgery that was extremely painful. I kept getting texts saying my medication was ready, but everytime I called to double check, it was not. When I showed up she got me my medication within less than 30 minutes and was on top of it. (And she kept telling me to sit down and asking if I was ok) I'm extremely understanding that these places are overwhelmed. I've dealt with a really rude male pharmacist here, but Tracy has literally been a lifesaver Recently, I had called ahead of time to see what I needed for an early release (2 days early for a medication that is highly controlled due to me not being able to pick it up on the scheduled day) she told me exactly what to request from my doctor. (Which, I got ahold of my doctors office and told them) My doctor put in for my medication, but unfortunately, they did not put what Tracy needed them to put. It was night time and my doctors office was already closed. Tracy told me not to worry at all and that she would call them in the morning and get it taken care of for me. I honestly did not think much of it. I was fully prepared to call my doctors office / having to deal with it all on my own. Yet, I got a text saying my medication was ready in the morning. Tracy even called me personally (not just the automated generic voice message system they leave saying to come get your medication) Tracy called and told me that she had been calling my doctors office as soon as they opened and she had everything taken care of for me. It honestly made me cry. While dealing with so much such as a surgery and trying to get everything taken care of, it meant so much to me that she took care of everything for me and did not make a fuss about it. She literally went above and beyond and I'm extremely thankful that she not only does her job, but is extremely sympathetic and helpful. Tracy is a pro Every time Tracy is working, she goes over the medication with me and asks if I have any questions and etc If you have any issues I highly suggest asking for her (but only if you're nice to her, because she's amazing) This location has a drive thru and is also open 24/7

The technicians don't seem to able to handle the drive through in a timely manner and just walk away and leave the car sitting there at the window. I have been in the line now for 31 minutes and STILL have 6 cars in front of me. This will be my last time coming here for prescriptions and will be calling corporate AGAIN.

I approached the interaction with a friendly attitude and treated the pharmacy technician with respect from the start. As someone with a college degree and several years of customer service experience, I understand that not every day is easy and that customer-facing jobs can be challenging. However, there is never an excuse for treating customers with the level of disrespect that I experienced. From the beginning, I was met with an unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and unprofessional attitude. Instead of offering basic courtesy and assistance, the technician was confrontational, careless, and showed no concern for how she was speaking to a customer. What was most shocking was her complete lack of remorse. When I expressed my concern, she casually displayed her badge information as if she was completely unbothered by the possibility of a complaint. That level of indifference makes me question whether this is a recurring issue. If this is how customers are routinely treated, it reflects very poorly on Walgreens and its commitment to customer care. Customer service matters, especially in a healthcare setting where patients may already be dealing with stressful or sensitive situations. Based on this interaction, it is clear that this employee would benefit from additional customer service training and coaching on professional communication. No customer should be made to feel unwelcome or disrespected when seeking assistance with their prescriptions. As a result of this experience, I will be transferring my family's prescriptions elsewhere. I am extremely disappointed and sincerely hope management addresses this issue before more customers have a similar experience.

I came in for a pedicure, and while the staff were reasonably polite, I had a few concerns. During my service, the technician trimmed my toenails and left the clippings on my foot, which I found unusual and unsanitary. As I was sitting there, I also noticed another technician clipping acrylic nails and letting the pieces fall directly onto the floor. That's when I really looked around -- the floors were dirty, with nail clippings scattered everywhere. Although my pedicure itself was okay, I also noticed the staff being a bit rude to other customers. Overall, the experience left a bad impression, and I don't plan on returning. read more

Mimi has opened her second shop in the LBC & just like the first one, it is well worth your visit. The nail technicians are friendly, the place is clean, and the work is beautiful. It took me a long time to find a good shop & Mimi only hires the best. You can tell their work environment is fun & friendly because unlike most other nail shops, there isn't a high turnover of her employees. Just like her employees, the clients come & stay too.
