It's a real shame the way this place has gone downhill. Disgustingly dirty, If it's not sticky it's dusty and the bathrooms look and smell like they need an enema. Best thing that I can say is that they did get our online order right. It was 5:50 on a Saturday, I expected to be getting fresh barbecue. We had both bbq ribs and bbq chicken in our order. Both were extremely dry and overdone. it seemed as though they had been kept in a warmer or similar for a long time. This place is garbage. I've given it two chances, far apart from one another. The first time I dumped water out of my salad before eating it. The second time, I ordered the grilled chicken combo and got robbed of 10 dollars and 50 cents. The chicken was SO thin--- all bread (see pictures). I don't know who would put that on the bread and think, "okay." We had not visited this eatery in several years. Last experience was mediocre at best. This time ? Atrocious. I understand that the restaurant industry has experienced tough economic times over the course of the last few years. I get it. Cutting corners, unfortunately, has become the norm. Conversely, people work hard for their money and dining out should be a treat. We ordered a BBQ chicken dinner and a chicken oregano. Both chicken entrees tasted like shoe leather. Old chicken? Freezer burn? Not edible. Corn bread was also stale. Anything positive? Cream of chicken soup was very good. Fries were tasty and crispy. Having said that I will not return. We picked up rib dinners on New Years Eve and cannot say enough about how good they were! Being a holiday, we weren't sure what to expect but the ribs were done perfectly, meaty and absolutely delicious, would highly recommend because if they do this well on a holiday, they can only be even better normally read more

So my kids love this restaurant so we eat out from here once a week. We get a full size chicken basket for my kids to share which is 5 strips. Today I get home with my order and I have the same strips that we normally get five of but instead we get 2 cut in half. I called to complain and was told that they're abnormally large this shipment. Can I give zero stars? Seriously, I was at the Mokena location last night for dinner with my family and it was the first AND LAST TIME we will ever go to Mindy's. First, they forgot my son's fries. Okay, no problem. Then my fries were cold. When I told the server, she wanted me to give her all my food, including the sandwich. When I told her I wouldn't give her the sandwich and to just bring me some new fries, she sent the manager over with a plate to retrieve the cold fries. I picked up the fries WITH MY HAND and put them on the plate. While I am not sure if the fries she brought back were the same, why would she want them back? My cheeseburger was sand like dry and the bun was older then I. The chili had a strange strange sweetness to it. My wife also got an old hard bun but said the chicken was edible.
