I sat and looked at my phnoe for a little bit until the battery almost died (it was alrfeady low when I got there). They had charging cords on the coffee table with adapters for every phone. I plugged my phone in and sat it on the table and got comfortable for a longer wait, but moments later, true to the 1.5 hour estimate, they said my truck was ready. They advised me of some sort of leak on the front axle, but told me to check with the dealership because it might be under warranty. I appreciate that. I'll definitely be back for future service.

After stellar Yelp reviews (4 plus) guided us to AMC, paid over $3000 (for a broken serpentine…read morebelt, AC belts, new radiator etc., with all parts warranted per AMC). Confident and relieved we'd found a "go to" mechanic in Phoenix, one month later the car began experiencing intermittent power steering outage issues. Our son (in college and alone far from home) immediately brought the car back in, but AMC essentially refused to pop the hood, or otherwise even look at the car "unless the driver could replicate the issue". Two weeks later power steering and AC completely failed on a busy highway (due to a leaking radiator hose that ultimately fried the alternator). Paid an additional $800.00 (plus towing) to a competitor to fix what AMC should've caught. Also, AMC hours are now M-Th and of course this emergency happened on a Friday. First time Yelp has led me astray. 9/9/2026 - Owner Gilberto immediately reached out on Yelp below apologizing and asking for submission of additional repairs documentation to handle the case "fairly". To be fair, I did not go into specifics of prior phone interactions with Gilberto - owner - after the car was first towed to AMC and the had to be retowed to another shop due to AMC's inability to handle after hours emergencies (eg., no closed parking, nor key drop or other available). While all calls with were professional and courteous, Gilberto was ultimately unhelpful and disappointing (leaving us with limited options). The fact that AMC refused to do anything after the car was brought in by our son (for scary warning signs similar to the original problems) just prior to a catastrophic (towable) failure on a busy roadway is what is unacceptable. Not saying AMC is a bad business, they just really blew it. For minor car maintenance (oil changes and tire repairs) AMC is probably great. For major car repairs go elsewhere in the valley, please.

Service was a in house rebuild on a 2006 F150 transmission. Mike takes care of the rebuilds and his expertise shows. Oh I guess now is a good time to mention that this vehicle has 439,000 plus miles on it. And the transmission had never been touched as far as repairs, just fluid and filter changes when I remembered they were due. They stand behind the work and do understand the customers needs. Had a slight issue after picking the truck up that was promptly addressed even though it was actually not related to the rebuild. My shift cable was so old that it would not retain adjustment. It was 20 years old at least. Mike found the issue and actually walked me out so I could see what was happening. Part was ordered, wrong part was shipped over to there shop twice due to it not matching the vin number. When they found the part number after removal. Nadira actually ran and picked it up to help expedite the repair. Mike took care of the labor to install and I just paid for the cable. They didn't have to do this, this was above and beyond since this was not related to the actual work preformed or quoted. Transmission has about 350 miles on it now and wow its working way better than I could have dreamed of shifts are on point and smoother than I would have ever dreamed off. Told me to come in to check it out and Mike went out to diagnose the issue and he advised it's not a trans issue, but an electrical issue based on the codes that were coming up. Stay away! Took my truck in for a hard shift with a CEL. They diagnosed as needing to be rebuilt…read moreand said it was a "common problem". When I picked my truck up, I noticed a leak before I drove off. They put it on the lift and fixed the leak. Driving home that night hard shift on the same gears and the same code. Took it back. After a few days they said it's fixed. Two days later same issue. Took it back again and after a few days they returned the truck. This time it was fixed. I finally parked in my driveway way after having it for a couple weeks and noticed it was leaking. Took it back and they didn't have time to look at it. They sent me down to their sister shop and they said it was a gasket leak. It was a small leak and I every time it's in their shop it's 3-4 days. I missed enough work, decided to wait until I needed to service and fix it myself. I found a random 12mm bolt in one hole and my pan was damaged on the lip. No wonder it was leaking. Whatever tech worked on my truck definitely had the " that's the next guys problem" attitude.
