As someone who loves to go to Yosemite, stopping by Miner's Market is one of the things we always go to before and after hitting up the National Park. If you're on your way to Yosemite, you can refuel and get snacks that you forgot to bring and other camping materials. The reason why I like going here is for the specialty sandwiches! they also have weekday lunch specials, breakfast items and smoothies! Very friendly, good customer service. Gas station with multiple pumps. Ample parking. Public restrooms are outhouses, didn't use them. Grabbed two bottles of water and a pack of donuts. Donuts didn't taste like I recalled as a kid; hopefully squirrels will enjoy them. read more

Went here for gas and 2 out of the 4 pumps were broken. A SUV was parked at one of the working pumps not getting gas. So I wait and wait, while there are 3 women inside, including the gas station employee, talking and talking. So I wait 5 minutes and then go in and ask if someone s going to pump gas because I am waiting. All 3 of the women rudely yell "omg yes"! Like I was disturbing them. A few minutes later the woman comes out and pumps 4 gallons of gas and leaves I guess they'd rather block the pump and sell no gas than let me pump $200 for my truck and boat. read more

I was here in 2019 and the amount of times my husband and I talk about the breakfast sandwiches we had from here on our way to Yosemite... hopefully they still have these. This is a must stop if not for the well priced gas, stop for the food. I've had the hamburger quesadilla and the spicy chicken sandwich on sourdough bread. Everything I've tasted here is fabulous and fresh. The service here is always hospitable and quick. Just a tidbit if there's a line at the pump swing around the building and line up on the far side in the parking lot. If not the line will overflow into the highway. read more

If you are headed to Yosemite, you probably stopped by here to get your gas. I say that because from what we saw, this is one of two gas stations here in Groveland. One thing that you shouldn't overlook is checking out their sandwiches. There's premade food like cheeseburgers and corn dogs, but they have a variety of breakfast and specialty sandwiches, milkshakes and smoothies! The lunch menu sandwiches are available on slice bread, tortilla wrap, quesadilla, salad, or on gluten free cauliflower. The cauliflower is low carb and gluten free, so it's nice to have that option for people who are gluten free. Here is what we ordered: Crunchwrap (4/5): contains sausage, egg, hash brown, cheddar cheese in tortilla. They did not have hash browns so the lady offered to put bacon in it, which we didn't mind. I noticed that the Crunchwrap is half the size of the sandwiches. California Love (5/5): contains turkey, hummus, avocado, tomatoes, pickles, cheddar cheese and sprouts. The avocado tasted good and the sprouts made the sandwich. Miner's Club (5/5): contains turkey, bacon, avocado, mayo, mustard, onions, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, sprouts and lettuce. 3 Alarm Pastrami (5/5): contains pastrami, sriracha mayo, onions, tomatoes, jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, sprouts and lettuce. If you want a spicier sandwich this is the one to get I never realized how sprouts can change the taste of a sandwich but after stopping by it has really changed my opinion on it. We came here to fill up and had the sandwiches for breakfast. However, if you are hiking buy extra sandwiches from here. read more

We stopped by here for gas on the way out of Yosemite and decided to eat a sandwich. I was pretty happy with the decision. I had the Britt's on Fritt's and really enjoyed it. It had a good balance of meat, bread, sprouts, etc. and it wasn't filled with sauces, but it wasn't dry either. The sandwich was huge too, I was hungry and only finished half. So one sandwich was definitely good for the whole day. Definitely not a bad stop. read more

While I have gone to this store many times over the years as a home owner in the area I will no longer support this business. Even this week they are still in 100% defiance of the state health order to wear masks in business and even openly encourage their employees and patrons to not wear masks. Unacceptable in this day and age especially for a business that sees so many from all round and out of the state. On the other hand the other gas station in town seems to be in full compliance with mask required signs on their door. read more

Premium Pesto on wheat (no sprouts) was one of the best deli sandwiches I've ever had...at least for grab and go car food. We stopped there on our way through Tioga Pass. Quick and friendly, made to order, and decently priced! The bread (untoasted by choice) was tasty with had good structural integrity, which is important for eating in the car. Stopped here to fill the tank and use the bathroom after 3 breathtaking days in Yosemite last month. Pretty desperate, so walked past the juvenile, passive-aggressive sign declaring "smiles were mandatory but masks were not." Staggered around with several others, all clearly looking for the restrooms and, after asking, was officiously/gruffly directed to the parking lot. Took our business elsewhere. You can be mean, or ignorant, but not both... at least not if you want to get, and keep, patrons. read more

This is a cool place for a quick stop. Nothing special really inside but the barbecue going on outside was something that caught my eye. In a far corner of their big lot was a man barbecuing away. The smell was amazing! We didn't get to try some but I made a mental note to stop here on my next trip. Inside the mart is something of a gas station stop. This is what this place is. Stop for gas, quick junk food and you're off! It was clean and the gentleman behind the counter was very nice and very friendly. What I didn't like was the bathroom. It was a Porta Potty! Sigh... I was in a row of 5 vehicles waiting to go through the pumps after driving around the back of the station and getting in line like a good little boy. the front pump became available so the guy in line in front of me took it. we're good. he drove off and as i was pulling past the second guy (directly in front of me) a lady pulled off of the street, while facing the opposite direction and started to get out of her car. their were still 4 cars behind me going in the out direction, or, onto the highway. i told the lady, "excuse me miss but i think i was next". she replied "I've lived here 20 years and you look like a flatlander anyway so f'off! I told her that that language was unnecessary. I inquired on why, as a resident of Groveland does she think she's first, and how unbecoming her language was"! I replied I'm also a resident and would never speak in that tone to anyone, she replied with another "f off". when the attendant came out i reported her behavior and since he knew her didn't do a damn thing, and, supported her stating that she could go in the opposite direction if she wanted to while holing up 4 other cars that had been patiently waiting. Rental car ran out of coolant so we stopped here to see if they had any. Saw an employee smoking a dart outside so figured I would ask her before parking and going in. With all the charm of an outhouse she very rudely told me I needed to go park my car in an actual spot as if I was a complete dolt who didn't understand how parking lots worked. Clearly, years of park-goers having no other options has led to customer service being on par with a truck stop diner. What do you expect from a business that takes pride in allowing employees to not wear masks while a global pandemic rages on? This is an excellent spot to stop for gas and goodies on the way to Yosemite. They have so many options for food and drinks that you really don't need to stop anywhere else! Beware of possible price gouging when buying chains! Was staying nearby in Groveland and went to several places to price out cable chains. This place had several on the shelf clearly marked for $149, but the man behind the counter said they were actually $169. (The same cable chains sell in Sonora for $89). Highly suspect! I come to Groveland almost weekly - won't be buying gas at Miners Mart again. Owner should take note how questionable pricing practices can hurt your business in the long run! read more

As a gas station, it's fine, but for restrooms, this place needs to have a health code visit. The restrooms are porta-potty's in a back parking lot. Of the two that were available, one was full and needed to be emptied before it could be used. The other had mold and other things growing in the urinal. Needless to say, we did not use these facilities. It was a serious health issue in our book and we'd never go back. read more

Stopped in for gas and something to eat and drink on the way to Yosemite. Gas, when I finally got to the pump, was VERY expensive, ouch. The food was not appetizing at all; mostly deep fried, unhealthy offerings. Yuck. Plus a huge line to pay, and the woman at the counter was chatting away in a long conversation with someone who was obviously a regular customer, oblivious to the fact that people were waiting. Then I needed to use the restroom. What gas station does not have a bathroom? This one. You have to use a porta potty out back. It was filthy, overfull and absolutwly disgusting. Do not stop here! Go a quarter mile up the road and there's another place on the left. read more

As far as gas stations go, this one's pretty good. They go through a high volume of gas (being the last decently priced and name branded gasoline before Yosemite), so it doesn't sit in the tank and go bad here. Their bathrooms do leave a bit to be desired, being that they're the portable type, but they're serviced almost daily (according to the service record on the inside), so they don't stink too badly. The guy behind the counter is pretty alright too, if a little imposing (he's actually really nice). The selection inside the store is impressive for the square footage. Seems like everything I've ever forgot at home has a place on the shelves in the store. The driveway has excellent visibility, the speed limit is low on the highway, and the grade is fairly smooth, which makes for an easy in and out. Plenty of room to turn around in the parking lot, and they do sell #2 diesel. Plenty of clearance under the awning as well. read more
