There was absolutely no reason to speak to a customer that way. When my food was ready, she practically threw it down in front of me without saying a single word. She was visibly annoyed and made it clear she didn't want to serve me. What made it even worse was watching her completely change her attitude toward the white man sitting at the next table. She smiled fawningly, spoke softly, and treated him like he was royalty. The difference in how she treated me, an Asian customer, compared to him was disgusting and impossible to ignore.
