This place is all about tea and mingling! Hosted a book club meeting here and it was so much fun. The outdoor patio had plenty of space for all members to eat and drink as well as spaces to lounge and socialize. We were given all the intel on the different types of teas we were served including the different steep times and what complemented different flavor palettes. We were served an array of food items to accommodate the different dietary restrictions of each member. Truly appreciated to hospitality shown by the owner. Will definitely be back for other events. Love supporting a black owned business.

Ambiance: I'm not really sure how I feel about this places decor. I'm not sure if it's stuff collected over the years or if it's meant to be that way. I liked it but it also seemed a bit old. Next time, I'll dine in so I can get the full experience. Service: They were so nice, patient, and helpful. I'm an introvert, so when I walked in and there was no official counter to walk up to or a menu on the wall, I wasn't sure if I'd even stay to order. But they let me take my time with the menu and answered all my questions. Food: I loved the waffle combo with the fruit and turkey sausage combo, i did not expect it to be as good as it was, especially since I got it to go. I also got the Chai Latte, which I'm sure is made how it's supposed to taste, but since I'm used to going to major chains, it was lost on me. Once I got used to it, it wasn't bad.

I can see why Mingles has such great reviews! I stopped by for some iced tea and a place to do some work. I ordered the plum oolong (iced and lightly sweetened) and opted to sit outside because there was a nice breeze. When who I assume is the owner saw, she asked me if I was staying to do work and offered to let me sit on the back area which is quieter. I walked around the back and she let me into their lovely oasis of a back area filled with small tables, comfy chairs, plants, and wind chimes. The tea was perfectly sweetened, refreshing, and a little tart, just the way I like it. I didn't see any outlets to plug my laptop into, but that's okay. I'd come back if I was in the neighborhood to read or do some work. Thanks for showing me so much hospitality, Mingles!

This neighborhood tea spot is great! I saw their video via Facebook and wanted to check it . They don't have a full brunch menu but they do have some options. I had their waffles and turkey sausage . The sausage is amazing , not dry, very flavorful . I took an extra order home . The server was also really nice . Will come back to try again .

We really enjoyed our teas and our time here. The owner Lara was so friendly and informative in helping us decide which teas to get based on flavor profile. The place is gorgeous, roomy, and eclectically comfortable with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. After ordering, Lara showed us to the garden in the back where we enjoyed our drinks in the breezy shade. I landed on an iced For Her and my partner tried Get Out. The teas are so flavorful, so full-bodied, and balanced. I loved the earthiness of Get Out and the rounded smoothness of For Her. If you're a tea lover you will really appreciate the method and thoughtfulness that goes into each brew. An afternoon well spent! Great place to chill and sip on refreshing hand crafted teas

After breakfast one day I was craving something sweet (yes that can happen, I know I'm not the only one!) so the wife and I decided to stop by Mingles for a quick snack. We ended up ordering a Iced Thai Latte and a slice of lemon drop cake. While we waiting for our order, we placed checkers and tic tac toe on some of the boards they had laid out. If you're looking for a cool place to come study, read, or just vibe lowkey, this is the place. Go check em out!

On my way back home from work, I always seem to see this place and always catches my attention thanks to my recent habit of drinking tea. So I thought I'd stop by. Best decision I ever made. I got to experience so much more than just what meets the eye. I found a place where I could study or simply stop by and take a tea to-go! They also have an outside patio as another option to hang out and enjoy your day. They offer hot and cold beverages along-side snack-like-appetizers. I recommend the 'Chill' tea in cold form. I got it lightly sweetened (just enough for me) and I couldn't imagine what it would be like fully sweet (even more delicious I'm assuming). And Lara! So welcoming. Such a cool spot.

Cheers to Lara from Paula Robin Sharon & Toni!

Went to Mingles Tea Bar the other day with some friends, and thoroughly enjoyed it. First time there, but it felt like we stopped by a friend's house for a tea party. Lara, the owner, was so gracious and welcoming, and it was very clear that she knows her teas. Between the 4 of us we tried several teas, mama's peach cobbler!, and their lemon drop cake! All delicious. Loved the artwork, the decor, the whole vibe. A good location not far from SoFi and the Forum. Check them out!

What a gem this place is! There is no parking lot, but there is a good amount of street parking on the block, just make sure to check the signs because it might be two hour parking depending on the time and day. Decor inside of the establishment is interesting to say the least, but it's kind of a vibe to be honest. It's very all over the place and mismatched, which definitely is not my taste, but for some reason it works for this place. Lara greeted me and my friend inside and asked us if we wanted to sit inside or outside, to which we chose to sit outside. She guided us to the outdoor seating area and it was really cute! We were given the menu and a glass of ice water and were set to figure out what to order. I decided on the waffle combo since it was a Saturday and they only do waffles on Saturdays, but had a hard time deciding what tea to get, as they had a ton of different options. After asking Lara what the most fruity flavor was, I ended up getting the plum oolong tea. After about 10 minutes or so, my friend and I got our tea and I got my waffle. I should've asked for the fruit on the side instead of on top because that made it a bit mushy, but that's my bad! The tea came in a tea-press and with a tea timer that had three different timers depending on how strong you wanted your tea to steep. The plum oolong was on the fruitier side, but wasn't as sweet as I would like so I did add a good amount of the agave syrup that was provided. I do wish the tea was a bit stronger even though I had it steep for the longest setting. My friend got the green pomegranate as a hot latte and that was BOMB. Next time I come here I am definitely getting that! Throughout our time eating/drinking, Lara and another kind worker kept checking up on us to make sure we were doing good; very good hospitality. Lara also told me that I could get a refill on my tea for free! Once you are finished, you have to go inside to pay at the register. I liked how we were able to split the bill depending on what each person ordered. Totally recommend coming here for a chill tea time. It's so hard to find a good tea spot that's not super fancy and has decent prices, and this is just the place!

I had such a Beautiful experience here. This spot is the base of many more Beautiful things to come. My mother, SistaFriend and I decided to have our Taco Tuesday at the infamous Mingles Tea Bar. I say infamous because I've heard of them for quite some time but I just never had an opportunity to make it by. The service... Excellent! Our waitress explained the differences between the caffeinated and decaf teas as well as her recommendations. My Bantu Boyz Tea was so ridiculously good, I couldn't help but laugh because I'm questioning everything in my life that I've known up to that point. Excellent. So Flavorful. First of all, I never even knew Tea could be like this. I make myself Tea everyday and this was/is beyond Tea. Two more SistaFriends showed up later and they each had the Tacos and Tea of their choice. My one SistaFriend explained that she was doing the series of the green tea right now. Series!? This place changed the whole game... my whole understanding of Tea. It's my new Spot. I'll be back there next Tuesday for Tacos and the following Saturday for Waffles. Lara the owner and the entire Family (and staff)... Thank You for doing this. May Your business Thrive. I Highly recommend Mingles Tea Bar

What a hidden Gem!!! Mingles is located on Crenshaw Blvd, right in Inglewood. Lara the owner makes you feel welcomed and right at home. Her tea is amazing and there are many fusion flavors to enjoy. The cafe is eclectic and has a calm, ethnic, peaceful vibe. When her door reopens for dinning in our seating outside, please visit her. You can order food/tea and or dessert to go for now.

They have a tea timer! Awesome!!

I usually go to Oakobing in Ktown, but I'm so happy to have a place this good much closer to home. My husband and I recently stopped by for the injeolmi bingsoo, and it absolutely blew my mind. It came topped with red beans, a rich peanut butter-like paste (I'm not exactly sure what it was, but it was delicious), a generous dusting of injeolmi powder, and condensed milk on the side to drizzle over everything. As you dig into the fluffy shaved ice, you're rewarded with surprise chunks of chewy mochi hidden throughout, and I believe there were even more red beans waiting at the bottom. Every bite was packed with flavor and texture. It was so good that I'm craving another bowl just thinking about it. *Drools* I'm not sure how busy it gets during the day since we've only visited after dinner, but we've always found plenty of parking. It's the perfect dessert spot to cool off on a hot summer evening, and definitely one I'd recommend if you're in the area.

There is a little history buried inside Noon Korean Bingsoo House. Before Noon, this same…read morestorefront was Oncle's Cafe, a Korean inspired dessert and coffee shop that opened here in 2022. Somewhere along the way Oncle became Noon, the cakes and coffee gave more ground to bingsoo and the place changed enough that I still occasionally catch myself comparing what is there now with what I remember being there before. That may be part of why I have kept coming back. I remember Oncle being one of those easy little places where the service felt unusually attentive. Young guys behind the counter who seemed genuinely engaged, checking on things, keeping the room moving, making the whole experience feel cared for. Noon still occupies the same address and the bones of a good dessert shop are obviously still there, but the experience today feels considerably more transactional. The bingsoo itself is not bad. The machine is doing what it is supposed to do. The ice has that fine, soft, almost snow like texture that separates good Korean bingsoo from somebody simply attacking a block of ice with machinery. The problem, for me, is everything they put on top of it. I have tried enough of the menu at this point that I don't think this is a matter of choosing the wrong flavor. Strawberry, mango, the more elaborate combinations they consistently lean too sweet. Syrups, sauces, creams, fruit. Eventually all that sugar begins flattening the very thing that makes bingsoo so good. The delicacy of the ice itself. Instead of tasting individual ingredients, you start tasting sweetness in several different costumes. That is where Noon loses me compared with the better versions of this dessert. A great bingsoo lets you keep eating because nothing overwhelms anything else. Here, a few spoonfuls in, I'm usually wishing someone had simply stopped adding things. Then there is the experience of going. Parking in this plaza at the wrong hour can turn dessert into a minor logistical exercise. The lot is tight, dinner traffic makes it worse and the alternative is hunting around outside. Once you make it in, seating operates with that awkward first come first served ambiguity where someone who ordered after you can apparently have a table secured while you stand there holding dessert and waiting for another group to leave. The room itself often feels oddly unattended. Tables linger before being cleared. Surfaces can feel sticky. Nobody seems particularly responsible for making the dining room feel reset between customers. When it gets crowded, all of that compounds. People hovering for seats, groups talking over one another, trays sitting around, everyone negotiating the room themselves. None of this makes Noon terrible. That is probably the important distinction. The actual shaved ice is good. Some of the combinations are enjoyable. There are plenty of people who will probably prefer the sweeter style more than I do. And clearly the place has found an audience. Noon's current social presence identifies it as a Gardena bingsoo shop at this same Western Avenue location. I just find myself wondering why I keep making the effort. Maybe some of it is nostalgia for Oncle. Maybe I keep hoping the next visit will recover whatever made the old place feel more personal. But when getting dessert requires fighting for parking, negotiating a table, sitting in a room that feels half managed and then eating bingsoo that is considerably sweeter than I want it to be, there are easier ways to spend an evening.

Ended up getting the bread, charred cabbage, and the duck with a mole sauce. The bread comes with Tomat butter (not tomato butter) and the butter was decent. The bread felt very light with a charred crust. Interesting flavor that I can't pinpoint but the fluffiness made it worthwhile. The charred cabbage was a mixture of cabbage and other veges including shishito peppers and broccolini. Comes with some slight kumquat/loquat combo and nuts. Not sure I liked the charred flavor and couldn't done without the fruit and it just didn't really fit together. The duck comes with breast which had its fat rendered well but the mole wasn't really flavorful. It comes with a duck roulade of sorts and this was a letdown. Honestly not sure what the filling should've tasted like but it was odd. In the end of the meal, service was semi-non-existent.
